Top French Riviera Day Trips

The tour was truly 5-star plus from start to finish. Our driver, Abraham, was an exceptionally kind and courteous man, as well as highly knowledgeable. His insight into Nice and the surrounding villages really enhanced the experience, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. We were fortunate to be the only couple on the tour, which made it feel like a private experience. The minivan accommodates up to 8 people, which would still make for a comfortable and friendly group if full. The day began with a visit to a perfume factory in Grasse, followed by a stop in the beautiful village. We then explored Gourdon, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, and Saint-Paul-de-Vence — all stunning French villages with plenty to see, along with lovely unique shops and amazing restaurants. The views are spectacular from each village, Abraham will stop along the journey for some spectacular photo opportunities. There was sufficient time in each location, and we especially enjoyed a longer stop in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, where we had lunch in the town square, sitting in the sunshine. Abraham also surprised us with an extra stop at a beautiful waterfall along the way, which was a lovely added touch. This was a full-day trip to four incredible villages, led by a genuinely warm and thoughtful guide. Abraham, thank you for such a wonderful day , we enjoyed every minute.
