Q: What's the best way to experience Eze without the tourist crowds?

Stay overnight to have the village virtually to yourself in the evening and early morning. Arrive before the Jardin Exotique closes, visit immediately, and enjoy a quieter village afterward with dinner reservations and drinks. Come in November for fewer people and cooler weather, but also fewer open restaurants and shops.

Q: What's the difference between Eze Village and Eze-sur-Mer?

Don't confuse Eze Village with Eze-sur-Mer. Eze Village is on the hilltop, and Eze-sur-Mer is the village sur mer (on the sea). You can only get between the two by hiking the Nietzsche Path (which takes a few hours) or driving. By train, you'll end up at Eze-sur-Mer.

From Nice, we will drive for about 40 minutes to reach the village of Eze. Once there, you will be offered a drink and entrance tickets to the exotic garden. You will have about 1 hour to visit the village, in addition, we already have a pass allowing you to access without having to queue. Why choose this excursion? Because the village of Eze is difficult to reach by public transport and parking spaces by car are rare or very expensive. Going by electric bike is the best way, because the view and the road to the village are beautiful and you feel no effort despite the climbs, thanks to the electric bike. Once there, we will hang the bikes to head directly to the village. The circuit represents a total of 50 kilometers with a high elevation difference, but with electric bikes, it is easy! Great time exploring Eze and Manaco with the family

Our guide Audrey was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a lot of time for self-driven exploration at the different locations (ie Eze and Monaco). The perfume factory was very interesting and even my teenage boys enjoyed it though they definitely enjoyed seeing all of the exotic cars in Monte Carlo the most. Overall, a fun day to share with my family!
