Lots of slippery stones in walkways. Be careful. Wear comfortable shoes that don't slip on wet surfaces.

A beautiful day seeing villages that were a thousand years old. The art, the people, the history was truly a magnificent privilege to be a part of.
Our guide Lawrence was absolutely charming. She loves her job and is it shows. She was kind and funny and an absolute joy to be around.
This is one tour I highly recommend.

Whilst we had a little confusion about pick up point at the beginning of the trip, our guide was super friendly and very chatty. She was extremely entertaining and helpful. The destinations were picturesque. Of course we couldn't help but indulge ourselves in some perfume from the oldest perfume maker in Grasse, and tried the famous violet icecream in Tourettes. We loved the small cosy bus, just the right size tour to make it personal and friendly.

This was a great tour. We visited 4 Mid-evil Villages. We had the right amount of time in each stop. We got to see so much. Our tour guide was wonderful even giving us a ride back to the cruise terminal

A wonderful tour, well planned with good timing. 3 different medieval villages, all with their own characteristics. And sweeping views of the valleys and coast. Personally I wasn’t very interested in the perfumery but it was just a short part of the tour and very informative. Laurence was the perfect hostess/tour guide. Lots of information and took great care of the group.

We were picked up right on time. The van was comfy. The guide was a good driver especially considering some of the narrow winding roads.
We had 2 other vans in a convoy with us from the same tour company and one of the other guides use to be a history teacher. He was super knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing tons of info with us.
He was easier to understand in English than our guide Laurence but she was super sweet and knew English well. She has a thick accent so we paid close attention.
The perfume tour was more interesting than I anticipated.
I felt like we had ample time in each location. They give you all the info about the history prior to letting you loose in your own in each town.
It was a day well spent and worth the money.
For those looking at other tours for Eze and Villafranche, I recommend doing those on your own. We needed WAY more time in Eze to see and do it…no way we could have done a tour for those…and you don’t need them to visit anyway.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and also knew his way around everything. You could tell he had years of experience navigating the medieval villages. He was also kind to alert us to potential scams and to let us know where to find the hidden gems. I really appreciated the tour and his demeanor. I definitely recommend this tour! I also traveled solo and it worked well. There were others there but he made sure to check in with everyone.

Laurence made the day special with her warm, helpful personality. We enjoyed her ability to impart knowledge about the villages and their history in an interesting manner. It was a long day, but the villages were all charming in their unique ways and we had enough time to explore them without being rushed. Laurence offered interesting narratives and provided stops for us to take photos. This tour was a bright spot on our vacation and Laurence was a terrific person to spend the day with!

Laurence was our tour guide today and the experience was fantastic! The stops were well selected and the visits well-timed. As she is a local we received great trivia, lots of stories while we enjoyed the view around us. The destinations included Grasse, Gourdon, Tourette as well as St Paul de Vence. While we felt that you could easily spend more time at those places because of their unique charme and history, it still did not feel rushed. Laurence is such a charming and fun person who made the already great tour an exceptional one. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the area around Nice.

My husband & I did the tour early November 2025 with the wonderful absolutely inspiring Miss Laurens. The locations were great, & the tour was self-paced for most of it (which I don't mind), so if you're expecting a guide to be with you the entire time, this isn't one of those. What you're paying for is someone to conveniently & comfortably drive you safely to these unique destinations without the time consumption of using public transportation. HOWEVER, it was absolutely worth it because our vivacious guide (Laurens) made our experience fun, memorable, & educational. We learned so many different things from her! From French culture/daily life to facts about the sites we visited & down to the best local dishes to try, Laurens was a wealth of enthusiastic knowledge. My standards for these kind of tours have officially been raised thanks to her. Overall a wonderful experience that easily became a highlight of our honeymoon in the French Rivieras!

Our driver, Laurence, was wonderful! Friendly, informative and entertaining re the history of the Medieval villages and Nice. She was an excellent driver on the high winding mountain roads and our van was comfortable. The Historic Medieval villages were fascinating to learn about. There were restaurants for a quick lunch, and shopping. WCs were available at the villages but bring your own TP as sometimes they run out when the larger tour groups come through.

Our tour guide communicated in advance with us which was great. The tour visited a perfumery as well as 4 medieval villages. The countryside was very scenic and our guide extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Whilst the weather wasn’t the best due to storms our experience was fantastic. You will learn a lot about the history of southern France from our very knowledgeable guide and see 4 beautiful medieval towns, each very different than the others. The tour of Galimard, the oldest perfume factory in Grasse was delightful and informative. The size of the group was perfect too.

This is a great cultural experience, and you also get to see the great view of the valley and the coast. Nabil is our guide, and he is very passionate and knowledgeable.
A little note, the roads are very bumpy in the mountains so please take some medicine beforehand if you are likely to get carsick.
