Happiness at night on a bike
Excellent tour and great way to get a different perspective of Florence. Great party at sunset site. You have to hunt a little to find shop on Google Maps

Great way to see Florence perfectly for families with teens
Who knew that the best way to see Florence was on a bike? It might seem overwhelming to navigate the busy streets, but its doable and pretty safe. Our family of 4 ( 13 & 11 yr old) had a great time. Julia was kind and extremely knowledgeable. If we had been spending more time in Florence I would have booked more tours with her.

A Perfect Mix of Fun and Discovery
After a couple of days walking Florence in the heat, we needed to mix things up — and this bike tour was exactly the right call. Our 12-year-old had a blast, and honestly, so did we. Our guide Julia was wonderful. She kept the pace comfortable for everyone, covered the iconic sites, and also took us to some lesser-known gems we never would have found on our own. She even gave us tips for the rest of our trip, which we appreciated. The undeniable highlight was Piazzale Michelangelo — the panoramic terrace perched on a hill south of the Arno with sweeping views over the entire city. The views were absolutely incredible, and Julia gave us plenty of time to really soak it in. A note for families or anyone with physical concerns: the tour does require basic bike-riding ability, and Florence's streets are a lively mix of pedestrians, bicyclists, and all manner of vehicles. That said, Julia was incredibly accommodating — she grouped the kids and anyone needing extra time at the front to ensure safe passage through the more chaotic stretches. It felt thoughtful and well-managed. Highly recommend this for families looking for something active, engaging, and a little off the beaten

A great way to learn...
A great way to learn about Florence in two hours with a beautiful sunset. It was value for money as there was only one person (two solo female travellers) besides me for my tour. The tour guide, a blonde lady (didn't get her name, sorry!) was really nice and knowledgable, letting us stop anytime to take photos. She also patiently fixed our earphone set and took out multiple bikes for me to try as the store's adult bikes are too big for me. She pointed out details around the city that I would have missed out without a tour guide. Highlight of my Florence trip!

Florence
People admiring Florence's skyline from Piazzale Michelangelo.
  • In the center of the square is a monument with bronze replicas of Michelangelo’s famous sculptures. The best known is David, the original of which is on display in the Accademia Gallery (Galleria dell'Accademia).

  • For a romantic evening, watch the sun set over Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo, then enjoy a lovely view of the city’s twinkling lights after dark.

  • There is no shade over the square, so bring a hat and sunscreen if you visit during the day.

  • During the summer, a number of nearby cafés and nightclubs with music and outdoor seating offer a taste of Florence’s vibrant nightlife.
