Very good tour, our guide Annette was fabulous. She did a great job, highly recommend this tour. There are stairs inside palazzo vecchio, makes sure your okay with about 4 flights of stairs up and down.

first time user
It was my first time using Viatour. I was able to pick between options for the desired museum easily, and pickup on the day at the museum went well.

Great Experience
We were met by the team member to supply our tickets on time and in the place stated.
We were able to walk straight in and look around at our own pace. Great visit.

The tour was fabulous and our guide was amazing! But, there was most definitely no gelato despite it being in the title …

Nice behind the scenes tour
This was an interesting way to see behind the scenes at the Palazzo Vecchio. Our guide was informative and friendly. Your tour meets in the ticket office where you check in and get a ticket then meet your guide. After the tour you have plenty of time to visit the museum. Apparently the lunch or gelato are on your own, but I forgot to get the gelato.

Great behind the wall tour
This is a great tour behind the scenes. You also receive a ticket for the museum. Don’t purchase the lunch option if you are going to tour the museum. You won’t have time to get to your lunch time.

Fabrizio knows his stuff.
The second I laid eyes on Fabrizio, I knew we were going to have a wonderful experience. He was as knowledgeable and credible as I knew he would be. All his stories, which I am sure he has told many times before, sounded like he had just thought of them in the moment. Just a terrific afternoon listening to Fabrizio's stories of political intrigue surrounding the Medici family.

The palazzo’s soaring Arnolfo Tower, designed by architect Arnolfo di Cambio, offers stupendous views of Florence and the surrounding hills of Tuscany; children under 6 are not allowed to climb the tower.
Most of Palazzo Vecchio is dedicated to the museum showcasing Renaissance art and architecture, but the building is also still the seat of local government and home to the mayor’s office and city council.
While backpacks and bags are not allowed inside the Palazzo Vecchio museum, lockers are available for a fee.
Most of the palazzo is accessible to wheelchairs, with the exception of the tower and mezzanine level.
