It's a big white Spanish-colonial style building. Please enter INSIDE the building. Our guides will meet you at the main door of the building. If you are staying out of our pick up range, please meet us at the CENTRO SOCIAL, CULTURAL Y CIVICO RIVIERA ENSENADA, where the parking lot is free and safe. Your tour guide will wait for you by the main wooden front door, and will confirm with you the pick up time within 24hrs before the tour.

We recently went on a wine tasting tour with Wine Route Baja Tours as our offshore excursion during a cruise, and we were fortunate to have Luigi as our guide. From start to finish, Luigi was fantastic. He arranged a private tasting for us with Lupe, the owner of Dubacano Winery. Lupe was incredible—so knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about her wines. She even led us in a fun aroma game where we practiced identifying scents, which made the experience even more engaging and memorable. Luigi was also very mindful of our schedule, making sure we enjoyed our time without worrying about missing our ship. It was just my wife and I, and Luigi gave the tour such a personal touch that it felt like it was designed just for us. We can’t recommend Luigi enough—if you’re looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and personable guide who goes above and beyond, he’s the one to ask for!

Eugenia was a wonderful tour guide! Her directions on where to find her off the cruise ship was easy! She took very good care of us making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She took us to the most amazing wineries that we would have not known about without her. Her expertise on the city, wines and the culture made this experience truly unique and memorable.

A great way to see and taste the Valle

This is a great option whether it's your first time in the Valle, or you've been a few times like we have. We were able to customize our route to pick out some places we've never been (but their options are great if you've never done the Valle before). They helped us secure winery reservations at each location, build out a schedule and our guide Adrian was really helpful in identifying different places to try our next time around. I think I left with about 15 new places to try! We were very happy with our experience and we'll definitely use them again the next time we hit the Valle.

Magical Day

Our guide, Adrian, picked us up at the hotel at 10 am and we returned at 5:30 pm. At first, we were doubtful about a 7'5/hour wine tasting tour. After all, how much tasting can one do in a day? We went to two different wineries (Santo Tomas and Cruz) and took our time savoring wine and even meeting fun people who were on other winery tours. We then went to lunch at "Salvage," which was in a stunning setting in the valle. We had a seafood dish that came in a large pot with an incredible sauce, the order was for 4 people and we convinced Adrian to join us. The starter was cornbread in a luscious mole sauce. After lunch we proceeded to our final wine tasting at Casta. The winemaker there, Claudia, made a Grenache that is heavenly. She is donating the proceeds from the Grenache to breast cancer research so we bought this and another delicious blend. The tour says 4 wineries, but we were to full and content to do the fourth. This is an absolutely fantastic tour. Do it!

Disappointing Wine tour

Having a driver was a positive but we thought we would have a shuttle bus, not a small private car. $76 for driver is too much money, no tastings were included and one of the wineries Las Misiones was not upscale experience.

I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Sam, was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She gave not only great information about the wineries and the area, but also made recommendations for places to eat near our boat. The wineries we visited had not only quality wine, but also such welcoming hosts for each tasting. We enjoyed the entire day including the delicious meal at the end. Thank you again to Sam!

We had a wonderful time in the Valle de Guadalupe. The Wine Route tour was very well organized and we were able to visit 8 wineries over two days. Eugenia and Sam (our guides) were so knowledgeable about the wine and wineries in the area. They even organized lunches and dinners for us and helped us find transportation in the evenings. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous Time - Jorge is your tour guide!

Let’s start with our driver, Jorge. He arrived on time, bilingual and well versed on the area, history and had personal experience with several wineries. He gave us all the time we needed to really enjoy our day! He picked us up in a newer, very clean minivan, stocked with bottled water, snacks and a goodie bag which included a nice VdG face mask and great map of the wine region. 1st Stop: Santo Tomas Winery. Oldest winery in Baja. Large, beautiful, expansive wine tasting room as well as spacious outdoor seating overlooking the vineyard. We opted for the Premium tasting: $420 MEX. Diego was our host and gave us a good summary of each wine. We were given enough time to take in the wines and walk around the grounds a bit. Jorge was kind enough to take pictures of us toasting and posing at various photo op areas. 2nd Stop: ATP y Familia. What a hidden gem! It was Jorge’s suggestion we visit this winery. Such a wonderful time meeting Alex and his champion chess-playing father. Alex made us truly feel like family! The highlight was clippling a cluster of Nebbiolo grapes right off the vine! We had the Premium wine tasting, $320 MEX which included a generous chartucherie platter. My favorite wine was the 2014 Cabneret Sauvignon Gran Reserva. It recently won Gold at the 2021 Mexico Int’l Wine Competition. This winery is a must-go-to place! 3rd Stop: Concierto Enologico. This winery matches wine with music. We were lead down a spiral staircase to the wine tasting room, where you could feel the dampness and smell the earth’s rich scent. Interesting concept. We had the simple tasting, $240 MEX. Not sure I buy into the concept, but enjoyed the experience. 4th Stop: Sol y Barra. Small structures built out of earth (adobe style construction). Kind of a whimsical/bohemian vibe. Small wine tasting room as well as several outdoor seating areas. I only had a glass of their Premium wine, “Reserva”, $100 MEX. 5th Stop: Dinner at Don Tomas Winery restaurant. The restaurant is set within the winery. They’ve built decks above the vineyards. Such beautiful scenery, great live music and excellent quality food offerings. I had oysters with carne, grilled octopus and 2 delicious margaritas, $725 MEX. Jorge, thank you so much for such a great day!

Best tour no driving! No hassle!

This was an absolutely amazing tour, probably the best wine tour for your time and money. We went to 4 wineries transportation was provided with convenient pick up from the hotel. Safety measures were up to date during COVID. Eugenia was our guide and she was absolutely terrific, friendly and very well versed about the wines and culture in Valle de la Guadalupe. We would not have had the gray time we did without her or if we did this on our own as a tour. We didn’t need to worry about entrance, location parking driving it was all hassle free and relaxing! Thanks Eugenia and to all the wineries!
