I highly recommend going the private tour guide route. Our guide, Dylan, was delightful. We fired lots of questions at him in order to learn as much about the area as possible. Dylan even offered to help us negotiate with the vendors at the La Bufadora market if we wanted.

Had a great time, very full service experience. Miguel was awesome and very helpful. He gave a lot of good recommendations on how to navigate the market. Ice cold soda and water waiting for us in the van. Lots of great shops at La Bufadora, great food. You will get hounded by merchants, but that’s all part of the experience.

There was a little confusion in the beginning we didn’t realize we needed to leave the port to find our guide. But it was a good experience. Complimentary sodas, waters and the kids really enjoyed the horse ride on the beach, The bufadora was a beautiful site and the shopping was fun for the kids.

I HIGHLY recommend this tour and "Ensenada Total Fun Tours" for a wonderful day exploring and adventuring around Ensenada! Miguel was a fantastic guide - so friendly and took such great care of us! I am a mom traveling with two teenagers, and he made me feel so comfortable and safe the whole time. He greeted us with a personalized, laminated "Happy Birthday" sign for my daughter's birthday and gave her a cute sombrero- what a sweet touch! He took us in a private van that was exceptionally clean, new and comfortable (seriously much nicer than my minivan back home, LOL). The drive along the coast was beautiful!! We first went to the horseback ride. It was a wonderful ride along the beach. One of the horse owners went with us and walked with my son's (who is younger) horse, and would give us directions in Spanish every now and then. I loved that it was just us and we weren't in a huge tour group. After the ride, Miguel took us to "La Bufadora" which was really cool to see. Along the walk there are dozens of stalls selling Mexican handicrafts, souvenirs, drinks and food. Miguel stayed with us but let us explore and stop wherever we wanted, offering advice and recommendations when we asked. My daughter really wanted a particular dress, and he took us to a stall where the price was much less than anywhere else. We ended up buying multiple things from her. Then we drove back to the cruise port, it was such a beautiful drive along the coast. He offered to stop anywhere else we wanted/needed, but we felt very satisfied by our time! A great experience all the way around!

It was very easy to follow the directions to the pickup location. Daniel was wonderful. He had welcome gifts and drinks for us when we arrived. The horseback riding was fun and our guides were wonderful as well. Daniel gave good directions once we got to La Bufadora and then waited for us to shop and eat lunch. This experience was 10/10 and worth every penny. I highly recommend.

When we arrived at the meeting spot, Miguel was ready to go with a sign that had our name on it and a fun souveneir hat. We went horseback riding first, which was so memorable and fun. Then on to the Bufadora for some shopping and the views. Miguel was so patient with our family, answering our questions, keeping track of all of us while we navigated the shopping at the Bufadora. He gave us waters, Mexican Coke, and Fanta. He even took us back to the beach for a little while so we could spend some time there before returning to our cruise ship. We appreciated his patience, flexibility, and the way he accomodated us!

We have 2 families of 4 booked a private excursion for horseback riding and the blow hole. Our guide Danny was great. The big van was very clean and comfortable and he gave us lots of soda and ice water. Then later he let us added one more stop to do the zip line and helped us with the communication with the locals at the zip line. Overall we had a great time.

Manuel picked us up just outside the port and took our group horseback riding on the beach. It was beautiful and and since we had a few in our group who had no interest, they stayed behind and waited. Then we hit la Bufadora and took in the market. We had the best street corn there and then proceeded to grab some amazing Mexican food at a local eatery that Manuel recommended. It was a local place so the prices were not inflated for tourists. I would definately recommend them if you are planning a trip to Ensanada!

The driver was very courteous and on time. The horseback riding on the beach lasted about 40 minutes the beach was wide open with almost no one other than the birds. The horses are well trained. The blow hole at Buffadora was not blowing up high but it was uninteresting walk through hundreds of merchants all trying to sell you something and our driver warned us in terms of how to negotiate etc. My wife and daughter ended up buying some odds and ends. Again other than trying to charge you high prices all the merchants were very polite. The tour company we recommend for their low prices compared to the cruise line organized tours. Ensenada in general does not have as many things to do as Los Cabos.

We had a wonderful experience! We had two parties in our group so two guides and two vehicles. Dylan and Miguel were awesome. They stayed by our side the entire time. They even helped us haggle prices lower in the flea market. The horseback riding was 45 min. Slow ride, but great for the first timers with us. The bufadora was neat but not something to spend a lot of time on. The food— shrimp tacos, horchata, etc— sooo good.

Our driver, Miguel was very easy to find as he was waiting with a big sign at the agreed upon meeting place. Though he spoke English he was gracious enough to converse with my poor Spanish. Our first stop was with the horses and everyone had a great time riding along the beach. For those who were not that experienced, the guides walked along leading the horses. We went next to the Bufadora where Miguel gave us some tips on walking through the gauntlet of shops and venders where one coconut seller was surprisingly agressive, blocking and even body checking me from trying to pull my friend away from them. The blow hole did not disappoint and we were happy with the many photos. Miguel then took us to a taco restaurant where we enjoyed local food. Our final stop was asked for was along the beach. We got back to the ship in plenty of time for a fun day in Ensenada.

Pick up was timely and clearly communicated. Our driver Dillan was awesome and very personable. Horseback riding was great on the beach. La Bufadora was a sight to see, but the vendors you have to pass to get there are very agressive.

Vivian was Terrific, very knowledgeable about the area, even went horseback riding with us. Bufadora was an amazing market place and the blow hole was great. Highlight was Lunch at her favorite lunch spot. Tacos Puebla. Two tacos each for 4 people plus 2 sodas and two bottles of water Cost $22.14 unbelievable delicious. I can see why it’s her favorite. fun horseback riding experience, however the beach we were at had trash strewn all over. the bufadora was also ok, you have to make your way through about 200 very pushy venders hounding you for everything. at the end we did stop at the paipai wildlife zoo which was a big hit. our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating.

We were nervous about not booking an excursion through the cruise lines, but the price difference made it worth a look. Booking through Viator was easy and made us feel more secure. Turns out, there was nothing to worry about! Miguel asked us from the very beginning when we needed to be back to the ship, and then was very courteous and informational when we asked questions about our surroundings. The horseback riding was just the right length for these middle-aged hips, and the horse guide was fun and informational, as much as he could be with the language differences. When we got to La Bufadora, Miguel gave us some good instructions on how to navigate the market and where to find things. And finally, he took us to a great taco place for lunch on the way back to the ship. Overall, a great experience and we are do glad we booked with them!

We had so much fun. We did horseback riding on the beach and then went to the blow hole place. We asked our guide Genaro (AMAZING) to stay with us. He gave advice on which shops are good and which ones to stay away from. We laughed the whole time. 10/10 would do again

Miguel was a great guide! I love his approach on taking you to the locations and giving you space to enjoy without feeling pressured. He gave amazing tips to prevent getting scammed (for example, what a certain item should cost or what pushy salesmen will try to do and how to deal with that). He gave really good food recommendations. He also allowed us to make pit stops on the way to see other locations or have other excursions. I would 10/10 recommend and will be booking him again next time we're in Ensenada.

Easy meetup spot from the cruise terminal. This is a great experience for a port day excursion. Kids loved the horseback riding. Guide was excellent and very friendly. La Bufadora was a worthwhile place to visit, and all the shops were fun to look through. Highly recommended!

I booked this excursion for my wife and family(2 adults, 4 kids age 18-21). Our guide Miguel was awesome. He met us at the cruise port with his van and was very professional and personable. Scenery was amazing for horseback riding. The flea market outside of La Bufadora was pretty hectic, and the shop owners were pretty in your face, but nothing new if you've been to these types of flea markets before. Miguel also took us to a local restaurant with great food and even better prices. I'd definitely recommend this trip!
