Take this tour if you enjoy authentic local food and drink in street and casual settings. We visited to street food vendors (tacos and tostados), a tequila bar/museum (first time I enjoyed tequila) and two breweries with nice ocean views.

Great tour with a small group. Had a great experience eating at taco stands and small restaurant. The last place was on a beach with a great view. These are the tours I like instead of a large tour bus.

The shrimp tacos at Fenix taco were delicious, the Tequila tasting at the Tequila factory was superb. Adriel gave a great tour of the local area. Great views that you would not see coming off cruise ships. Worth the investment.

The tour last 4 hours and we had the chance to visit several bars and local food spots. The tequila tasting was also fantastic and the presentation was very informative. Felt safe with the tour guide and with all the places he took us to. Thank you!

Honestly the beginning of our trip was kind of confusing. Our tour guide never showed up. But Alex ended up picking us up and showing us the greatest time in Ensenada. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. It was my birthday and he made sure we celebrated it! Lots of tequila shots! We had a great time! Highly recommend!

A wonderfully inclusive tour, only surpassed by our guide Arielle’s warmth & enthusiasm. Everything was so enjoyable, highlighted the conversation. He adapted the tour to our liking and interests, to include the two cantinas that vie for the title of birthplace of the margarita; Bar Andaluz & Hussongs. Smartly, stopping first for some delicious tacos & tostadas first. I thoroughly enjoyed Ensenada’s other culinary claim to fame, the fish taco, para Tacos Fénix. I appreciated that I was free to order on my own - a chance to practice some (rather elementary) Spanish. Not able to pass up Anthony Bourdain’s favorite spot, I also enjoyed the crab masterpiece that Seńora Sabina created at her magical La Guerrense street stand. So fresh and flavorful, I’d have purchased more if I could’ve tucked them away to nosh later. On to my tequila tasting - an amazing & instructive experience not to be missed! Not only did we sample 6 varieties of tequila,, but 5 Margarita flavors & varietals of local honey. Such a treat! Having the opportunity to purchase a beautiful hand-woven poncho, jewelry, and other trinkets rounded out our interaction with the delightful people of Ensenada. Arielle drove us to a gorgeous vantage point to snap some photos before seeing us to a safe and timely return to our drop-off point. I have to add he did his best - an above and beyond attempt - to so kindly arrange for a van to alleviate the short (albeit uncomfortable for me) walk back to the ship. In my opinion, a must-do while in Ensenada! Thank you for the great memories!

Excellent tour with Alex! He was very nice and super informative, got us back to the ship on time. Tacos were great and I even enjoyed the tequila tasting despite being extremely anti tequila going in! Would 100% recommend and use again (possibly when I’m back in April!)

Our guide (Jorge Alejandro Benites Ceja) was outstanding- his knowledge and passion for his city was translated in everything he did. We enjoyed every step from tequila tasting to a city tour and history to beer tasting to a beautiful seaside view that was so gorgeous!

Our Carnival cruise excursion was canceled just two days before arriving in Ensenada, so I quickly booked this tour with Noi on Viator—and I’m so glad I did. I knew right away I had made the right choice when we received a personalized video introduction along with clear pickup instructions. It instantly set this tour apart.
The experience was absolutely worth the money. We kicked off the day with tacos at Taquería El Flamenco, which was a perfect start. The transportation was safe and comfortable, and the pace of the day felt just right.
One of our favorite stops was the woman-run brewery Chikilla—fantastic beers and an incredible view. The overlook of Ensenada was stunning and clearly an insider stop we never would have found on our own. And no Ensenada visit would be complete without La Guerrerense—the ceviche lived up to the hype!
The container mall was another highlight: amazing views, great service, and fantastic local vendors. I think I bought about 20 pairs of earrings!
Noi was a wonderful guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop while still keeping us on track. I never felt rushed, and I never felt like I was just another person on a crowded tourist bus. If you’re on the fence, book this tour. Highly, highly recommend!

Meeting point was very easy to find from cruise ship, Noe was a great tour guide and sent instructions to find meeting point - very helpful. 11 total people in the van - comfortable. Stopped at two spots for tacos (fish, shrimp, ceviche) and two stops for drinks (tequila, margaritas, brewery). Views were incredible from an overlook for photos and brewery had incredible ocean views. Small hiccup with van door malfunctioning but didn’t impact the overall experience at all. Food and drinks were incredible, would recommend again. Buy what you want at each stop, no food or drinks included. Bottled n/a beverages and bathrooms available at stops.

The tour was incredible. From amazing fish tacos and tequila to a tasty Mexican dinner, the tour was hit after hit. Our tour guide, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to listen to. I wholeheartedly recommend this excursion. I’m travelling to Ensenada again in a few months and plan to take this cruise again.

Fantastic and truly unique experience. Our time with Alex felt not so much like a traditional tour and more like an old friend showing us his favorite spots in Ensenada. The food & drinks were delicious, made better by the fact that Alex has built relationships with the owners and workers and seemlessly interweaves his personal friendships with them into the experience. I will absolutely hit up Alex if I'm in this part of Baja Mexico again.

Our driver was great! He tried to make up for the misleading excursion description. It should be made clear that NO FOOD is included in price just like it is made clear no beer/alcohol is included in price. You are pretty much paying for a taxi ride. But again our driver was great and had a good day because of him!

We believe the description in the listing is clear that food and drinks are not included as its listed on 3 different places including the voucher that you get via email. Im sorry this was not clear for in your case. We visutvlocal places with locals pricing so everything is very affordable and if you look at the previous reviews you will see that almost everyone has a great time and has no misunderstanding about food/drinks being included.
Your review leaves out some key factors about your experience that really highlight the benefits of our service over other tours in port such as:
- when your party informed our driver that they preferred no seafood, the driver made an adjustment to the tour listing and took your group to a place with more selections so you can enjoy your visit better. Try asking a cruiseship tour guide to change the tour for someone because they dont like a specific stop, it won't happen.
- driver added an extra special beach visit to your tour also not listed on tour officially.
- driver added shopping tine to your tour, also not included.
Not including food and drinks gives us an opportunity to be more flexible for our guest to truly enjoy their visit to our port. The flexibility this gives us to change the tour for each group that books far outweighs the other option.
A taxi service wouldn't give you all that either, btw. We pride ourselves on our service and again the reviews show that.

As for the food and drink not being included sorry that was not clear, however not including food and drinks ks is what gives us the freedom to be extra flexible and add or change things to individual tiurs booked with us.
This is the very same reason yiu got to visit a rock beach and got shopping time included in your experience (both of those things not listed on the tour, btw). If we include food or drinks l, then we are locked in to visit the same places everytime and can't change things up to make tours extra special for people. We also tend to visit more local spots with locals prices so everything is very affordable, its a way better way to experience Ensenada and the reviews back that up. Thanks for your visit!

First, might I say, Alex, hermano, you were amazing. Thank you so much for your time, your experience, and the tour.
This was a great tour and anyone who takes it will have a great time. There are many great things to see in the beautiful city of Ensenada, but looking at cruise excursions and the other tours on this site, few seemed like you'd actually get away from the tourist traps and most seemed like they rushed you so you couldn't actually enjoy your time.
This tour was on our time. If we wanted to see or do something specific, we could have, but it was great as is. We enjoyed everywhere we went and each other's company. That's the way to do it. Everything was just smooth, just like the tequila lol. It wasn't so packed that it felt like we were being herded like cattle and it wasn't so sparse that we felt like we were missing out. And we got interesting local information, not just a regurgitation of a guide book. I was quite pleased and I know I'm not alone.
