We absolutely loved our driver/tour guide Jair! He was prompt, explained things as we went, and enjoyed some authentic Mexican food with us! We had just a great time! This was one of our top 2 favorite excursions out of 6 cruises. Well done and organized!

Armando was excellent ! he took us to a beautiful view point of the entire city and our boat and we had some delicious tacos with was not even on the excursion I would highly recommend !!

My granddaughter and I went on a private tour that included the horseback ride on the beach, drive to La Bufadora and then to downtown Ensenada where we had lunch and then to a spa for a massage. The whole experience lasted about 6.5 hours. We were picked up and dropped off at the ship. We enjoyed all of it except that we were led by 2 young boys along the beach. We did not have use of the reins. They didn’t want our horses next to each other as the one would get frisky.

Way better than anything the ship excursions offered! Alberto our driver not only took us to our destination points but also stopped by the beach where my kids wanted to pick up sand dollars and had great recommendations for local spots and food to visit. We weren’t impressed with the horseback riding employees. They were a little rude and rushed. Would still recommend the experience overall!

Extremely professional, very communicative. We loved our driver Oscar! He was very experienced and gave us a great tour. Oscar took us to the horseback riding area , the bufadoro blow hole where there was an opportunity to eat great tacos and shop. He waited for us each time and got us back to the ship, no problem. We started at 10 and got back around 2:30. I highly recommend booking through Viator! Everything was made so easy, even our meeting point with our driver😁

We had a fantastic experience! Our driver Armando was the best! We got to experience horseback riding on the beach, visited the Bufadora which is an incredible natural wonder followed by a couples massage! And returned to the cruise ship in plenty of time. We would highly recommend this excursion to everyone!

The horseback riding was a complete disappointment—thankfully, the rest of the excursion made up for it. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was incredible—safe, knowledgeable, and had a spotless car. The horseback ride itself was heartbreaking. The horses were in terrible condition, the tack was held together with baling twine, and the saddles were barely functional. A 12-year-old had to follow us just to keep one horse moving. It was a self-guided ride through a trash-covered path, and the horses could barely manage a slow walk.
After that disaster, Juan Carlos took us to La Bufadora, where the market was fun but overwhelming due to aggressive vendors. We then enjoyed amazing tacos at a local spot and fresh churros from a bakery. The day ended with an absolutely incredible massage—the best I’ve ever had.
Bottom line: DO NOT book this for horseback riding. Instead, hire a private driver (Juan Carlos was amazing!) and book a separate massage. That’s where your money is best spent!

We were assigned a private taxi driver, Wiley, who spent a whole day with us. We visited the Horse Riding place, La Bufadura and the Massage shop and got back to the Cruise Village within 6 hours. Timeline: 9:15am off-board; 9:30am met the driver outside Cruise Village; 10-11am Horse Riding; 11:30am La Bufadora; 1:15pm left La Bufadora; 1:45-2:45pm Massage; 3:15pm drop-off in Cruise Village.

We really enjoyed the horseback riding and the drive to and from the canyon. Our driver Oscar was very friendly and was patient with my basic Spanish. He explained many things about the city and area on the drive and we felt very comfortable with him.

This was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Oscar was lovely. The horse ride was on a private beach and the views were gorgeous. Everyone loved it. After the horse ride, we went to La Bufadora which was not that great: crowded, hot, and you had to go through an alleyway full of vendors. But Lydia’s tacos were delicious! Highly recommend this tour because of the horseback riding on the beach and the tour guide was super accommodating.

We have reduced costs for children under 4, and offer refunds when there is a problem with the tour.
Can you clarify what you mean by exemptions?
Our system through Viator is automatic confirmation - viator handles all of that-, then we text you on your cell and send you clear pick up map and instructions.
Our US 619 number receives calls, texts, and we return within 20min if missed.
We also offer email support and whatsapp.
Clients often contact us the morning of pick up, so please clarify what you mean.

Not a great excursion. The entire itinerary was not explained to us. Our driver knew very little English. It took almost an hour to get to the spot where we went horseback riding. The horseback ride was good. The horses looked healthy and well kept. The ride lasted less than an hour. The we were driven to the Buffalora. The driver pointed down a street with vulture like vendors selling their wares. We did not understand that at the end of the street was the actual Buffadora. The driver drove us back and wanted to drop us off on the shopping street, but by that time we werr feeling uncomfortable and just wanted to get back to the ship.

The tour with car was ok but the one of the main reasons to do this tour My daughter 11 and myself wanted both horse riding peope to do the horse riding on the beach - the horses where extreme skinny - bad fed and kept - so my daughter refused to ride - beach themselves was als bad - so huge dissapointment / the rest of tour was ok - driver was nice

Jose was a wonderful tour guide. He made sure to get us to our destinations and was extremely helpful with making sure we were safe.
The horse itself was extremely uncomfortable as it was not adjusted for someone of my height, but the ride itself was just okay. The guide did not communicate clearly on what was expected, so myself and my party were frequently apart from one another and could not share experiences.

Juan Carlos was a great tour guide, knowing his way around Ensenada. He knew so many folks everywhere we went, and helped us navigate the sights in many ways. At the end of the tour, he took us to a great local taco shop, which I recommend, called Tacos Puebla... great experience, 🌮 tacos and price.

You are the first person to not arrive easily to our pick up spot with the instructions given. Our call logs show no attempt to contact us as you mentioned in your comments. It is google voice so records everything. I personally called you when you were not at the pick up spot 45min late.

We weren’t expecting the guides to know English but they just get you up on a horse and didn’t explain how to control the horse as a first time rider group with only one guide per group. Our guide was holding onto 1 of the bad horse while all the other horses went off on their own within the group. A rude rider came towards our group claiming “her horse didn’t like her group” and caused both her horse and my friend’s horse to run off, end result my friend fell from her horse. There was no help from the guide once she fell from the horse as he was far away but lucky there were some people on the beach to help. The driver from the pickup and drop off was amazing though. He was able to get us to and from the port to the destination as well as a spot for lunch.

The overall experience was pretty good. Willy, our driver was really awesome! The horses we rode weren’t trained very well and one specifically kicked at two different horses while we were on the ride. The market was great and our driver had a lot of awesome suggestions.

So glad you had amazing time with our guide and bufadora, and the ride was good. Sorry you felt it was a bit wild. With animals, there is some variability in the experience from day to day. The Echo Canyon ride offers higher quality horses and a riding lesson as well. Everyone loves the beach though!
