For a shore excursion in Ensenada, try this half day bufadora and flea market organized tour for a minimum of four guests. Unexpected nice day

Daniel rocks

We met with our tour guide, Daniel, outside the port by the glass building. He had a clear sign with our name on it which was super helpful. He was kind and thoughtful during our entire trip! Very safe driver and attentive. He also gave us really good advise for the market. Made a stop at Pai Pai Conservation and then got dropped off on the main market street. Thank you Daniel for being a great tour guide! Definitely made our trip

Bufadora and Market Excursion

Great trip overall. Recommended going early to avoid the crowds. Drivers were nice. Wanted to avoid the regular tourist spots to eat so they took us to a great restaurant off the strip.

Ensenada at your pace

If you want to feel like a big shot, this is the way to go. As we left the port right at the exit there was Javier and Tomas with a sign with my name on it. Our tour wasn’t supposed to begin until 10, and we were about a half an hour early, and they were ready for us. The trip is about 45 minutes to La Bufadora. Javier was concerned about our comfort and constantly asked us how we felt about his speed, the temperature in the van and the music selections that were being played. We were a big party of 9, 5 of is were in one mini van with Javier while the other 4 were with Tomas in another van, and Javier made sure that we were always able to see the other van with the rest of the group while we were cruising around. We really enjoyed La Bufadora, and all the vendors. I like haggling for a better deal, and I loved how hard everyone worked to get your money. However, I do understand that is not everyone’s cup of tea, and if you don’t like high pressure selling tactics you probably should avoid this type of excursion. Javier and Tomas waited for us in the parking lot until we returned and were ready to go back to the ship. If I had one negative it was this: About a week before our cruise I was contacted via text by Jesse, owner of Ensenada Massage and Excursions, stating that they had some openings for massages the day of our excursion, and if we had members of our party interested in a massage after our tour at a reduced price. I asked the group and 4 were interested. I replied to the text, and was told that 4 massages would be reserved for our party. When we arrived we were told there was only availability for 3 massages, and on the way back from La Bufadora our driver received a call that only 2 massages would be available for us. These massages were amazing!!! One of the best of my life, but I felt so bad that all 4 of us didn’t get to experience this. This was a great excursion. I highly recommend it, and next time I will definitely be booking one of those massages, and I will pay full price.

Great day in Ensenada

Jose was wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. We had about a 45 minute drive to Bufadora. Once we got there we had 2 hours to explore on our own. Then Jose took us to the city center of Ensenada to enjoy a margarita in one of the towns oldest bars. We had a great day!

Transport was in local taxi. Driver remained with us, and took us anywhere we were interested in going . Our only complaint was that the driver’s English was not the best, and he did not provide us with any commentary on our 55 minute drive to the La Bufadora. .

Cool Experience

La Bufadora was a cool experience. It was a 40 minute drive around the bay from Ensenada. Our driver was kind and waited for us while we hiked down and watched and then shopped.

The tour was great, we had a private van to Bufadora Blowhole and old hotel, but our guide, Genaro, was the best!!! He was with us the whole time, had good information and wasn’t rushing us at all!!! Genaro even helped with my granddaughters medical stroller. Thank you Genaro and Viator

Bufadora Blowhole

The blowhole is unique but being hassled by all the venders while walking to the blowhole “BLOWS”. They constantly haggling you to purchase something or try their fruit, snacks, or liquor. As soon as we took enough pictures with and around the blowhole, we returned to the ship.

La Bufadaro, fish tacos and coffee and vanilla shopping

It was a great private guided tour to and from La Bufadaro and Ensenada. Jesus (Chuey) Sanchez was great guide. He picked us up at the cruise line terminal outer gate holding a sign with my name. We got there quickly before all the tour buses arrived. Chuey took several pictures of us at the blowhole. All the vendors knew him and he helped negotiate deals with them and told us what not to buy at the flea market. Afterwards he took us to a small fish tacos vendor downtown and they were delicious and cheap. We wanted to buy vanilla and coffee and so he took us to good places to buy them. I was very pleased with the custom service and friendliness of our driver. I highly recommend this tour.

Bufadora blowhole and market shopping/Ensenada Mexico

We had Daniel as our tour guide. He was very friendly and helped us find some places to eat and shop on Main Street in Ensenada. I wish our Spanish was better and his English was a bit clearer to understand things better but we did ok.

Michael was very friendly he stayed with us most of the time, he recommended a good Mexican Restaurant and waited for us. On our way back to the ship we asked him to stop at a Catholic Church and wait for us.

Not a Tour

Our driver Mr. Vargas was nice; but this was not a tour, it was a RIDE! Definitely not worth the money spent. If you're looking for someone to tell you about Ensenada or all the little places you'll see along the way to La Bufadora, skip this. Our driver spoke very limited English and that was quite disappointing being that it was my partner's first time to Ensenada. Next time, I will book the excursion via the cruise ship.

Overall this was a great experience for our girls trip with our elderly mom. Once booked I was contacted with additional great offers that were way below the cruise line “specials”. They provided meeting point details and our guide was waiting with a personalized sign making it super easy to find amongst the crowd of taxis. Our guide Genaro was great and he was helpful in pointing out good food after taking our time at La Bufadora. He made us feel comfortable while we shopped and he even made a quick pitstop for us to try local fish and shrimp tacos! He returned us to our drop off point early enough to get back on the ship without issue.

We accidentally scheduled the wrong day for our intended date. Viator and Ensenada Excursions made it extremely helpful to reschedule to the right date without any issues. We also had a great tour guide, Tomas. We were able to find him easily with the directions provided. During our tour to La Bufadora he gave us interesting information about the town. He also let us take our time exploring the area and brought us back to our cruise in time. We had an excellent adventure - Thanks Tomas and Ensenada Excursions!

Daniel and the other driver were good although we expect a bigger vehicle to accommodate 10 of us in my group. Both drivers were on time and waiting for us. Massage was ok as well.

Our online pricing allowed you to have two vehicles with total capacity for 16, with your group of 10, So I expect that you were hoping for a single vehicle. We do offer single large vehicles, sometimes the pricing is a bit higher. My apologies if my team did not communicate that clearly. We can certainly offer larger vehicle with adjusted pricing next time!

We did 3 excursion with Viator the other two were great this one wasn’t The drive from the cruise ship was long and the LaBufadora was not spewing. We did not know that was a possibility. Our guide Mr Colen spoke very little English so we didn’t learn anything about the surrounding area’s as we drove for an hour to our destination.

The most pleasant part of...

The most pleasant part of this trip was our tour guide. Roberto was very courteous and pleasant. It was nice to explore the Bufadora. It was very entertaining to see the sights. I did not enjoy the horseback riding part. The horse I rode on looked neglected and sad. I will not encourage and support animal abuse. It was sad to see those horses standing in the hot sun.
