Great Day Out
What a fantastic day! We are history nerds, and had a fabulous time on this small Ish bus with people from all over the world. Our Guide Roddy, was nothing short of outstanding. The sites that we visited and the knowledge he had about everywhere we went was off the charts. Highlight for us was definitely walking on Hadrian‘s wall, but the entire day was a definite win and worth every penny.!!

Our 1st paranormal vault tour.
As we are both paranormal investigators we were open minded on what the tour of the historic sights had to offer and the underground vaults. Martin was very knowledgeable and had a sense of humour to make the tour enjoyable at the same time being interesting. We both felt a presence in the vaults with being touched and took a pic of the stocks which was interesting once we got back from vaults to see what we'd picked up if anything.
Price is great value but would've liked longer in the vaults but with other tours I know that would be difficult. A great experience overall

Our Rabbies tour guide,...
Our Rabbies tour guide, Sean, his vibe was appreciated by all ages ranging from 10 to 44! He was funny, knowledgeable and kept us entertained and on time to each location. From the Kelpies to the Loch to the castle, everything was beautiful and gave us a small taste of Scotland. This was a good alrernative if you cannot or do not want to travel as far as Loch Ness and the Highlands. We will be back for more!

Louisa was amazing!
We very much enjoyed this tour, hosted by Louisa. Louisa was the perfect mix: history, mixed with a little bit of gruesome, some humor and a lot of respect for deceased. We were very impressed with how Louisa focused on the lives and living conditions of those relegated to the vaults, and how it must have been. The tour focused on Greyfriars Kirkyard and the vaults. Along the way, we also got to see how the city evolved, from the Flodden Wall to the bustling city it is now. We would gladly go on another tour next time we are in town! Thank you! (And Louisa—if you ever make it to the Upstate of South Carolina, we’ll treat you to some fried chicken! 😁)

Well worth it!
This was a great experience. Our guide Jack was very knowledgeable, friendly, and a great sense of humor. Steel Rig was a great place, I chose not to climb, but did walk down to meet the wall. Vinolandia was spectacular. The museum was well worth the trip, let alone wandering through the site. It was great not feel rushed. Moffett was a cute town, just wish things were open.

Wonderful day in the highlands!
My husband and I had a wonderful time on our Loch Ness and Highlands tour with Heart of Scotland Tours. We are so thankful to have had Angela as our tour guide - she was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip extremely worthwhile.
The trip itself involved a great balance between seeing the beauty of the highlands and learning about its rich history. While we were on the bus a lot, all of the stops were well-timed and really helped break up the day. We would recommend for anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Great tour with Jess!
We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Jess was knowledgeable, engaging, and an excellent storyteller. We especially enjoyed her perspective on the role of women in Scottish history, which added depth to the experience and highlighted stories that are often overlooked.
For anyone considering this tour, it's worth noting that it's more standing than walking. The group stops at various locations throughout Old Town while Jess shares the history and stories behind each site.
A fantastic introduction to Edinburgh and one of the highlights of our trip!

An Engaging and Immersive Edinburgh Experience
Our tour guide, Mally, was absolutely fantastic. He was so engaging and made you feel like you were in medieval Scotland. We learned about Mary Queen of Scots, King James, Lord Darnly, and so many more folks who made up this soap opera. We loved it.
Be warned, it is a lot of walking on hard stone, which can be a terror on the feet. If you cannot walk for hours on end and across a significant slope (Edinburgh is built on a volcano), this may be difficult. However, if you think you can, DEFINITELY DO IT! Even though my feet were incredibly sore by the end, I enjoyed this tour more than most any other we took. Beyond a doubt, I give the majority of the credit to Mally as he was engaging and really ensured we all felt included.
I should also note that they give you audio headsets to be able to hear your guide. This is key as there would have been extreme challenges hearing Mally in some the closes (alleyways).
Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

A must do day trip!
This bus trip takes you out of the city of Edinburgh and into the magical Scotland highlands. The views are outstanding. Pictures truly do not do it justice. Our tour guide Thomas was phenomenal and very informative. Driver (Chris I think) was so great! I learned so much on this trip. It was a beautiful outing. Keep in mind it's a long day trip (12 to 13 hours) but the views are totally worth it.

All you want to know about how Edinburgh inspired Harry Potter?!
Fun and engaging tour with delightful guide, Hazel, who included a lot of history of what inspired JKRowling’s Harry Potter books. In the process we saw a lot of Edinburgh. We laughed a lot as she quizzed us and engaged everyone together in a great time.

I've been to Edinburgh...
I've been to Edinburgh many times and done a lot of ghost tours but this was the best one I've been on. No costumes, no gimmicks, just a genuinely informative tour of all things gruesome and grisly. Ross, our guide, knew his stuff but was very personable and approachable. I also appreciated that he didn't rush us and made sure to wait for everyone to catch up. I learnt new things and visited new places so this really is a tour not to be missed

A day tour for whisky lovers
We have an unique and wonderful experience during the day tour. Graham is an enthusiastic tour guide who is passionate to arrange the tour itinerary and even more on the details of the songs he choose to play in different sections during driving time. We have a great time to visit Dewars whisky distillery especially that's not only dropped by and taking photos but good enough time to learn, taste and feels the Scottish spirit and whisky history.
