An absolutely unforgettable evening. From the moment we got into the car, our lovely host shared friendly and interesting stories. As we walked through the vineyard, we saw, smelled, touched, tasted from fresh bay leaf and a giant rosemary bush, to cherries, almonds, and of course, the grapes and olives that would become the beautiful wine and olive oil. To complement the delicious spread, we were met with pleasant and warm conversation with our host. It felt like we were old friends just chatting and enjoying the view. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Book it now!
I am unpacking from an unforgettable 2 week trip to Croatia.
This event was our first venture out to see the sights, and it was worth every penny plus more.
As I experienced Dubrovnik and surrounding areas of the sights, nature, candies, ceramic work, fresh baked goods, unfiltered olive oil, they represented, and had it all. Homemade and showcased with pride. The host is extremely knowledgeable and super kind. My visit there was a highlight of my vacation and recommend highly.

Best wine experience I've ever had! Very small, family run farm and winery. I highly recommend this tour!

An amazing setting to taste some delicious family made wine. The host was amazing, so personable and passionate about sharing his families love of wine. The olive oil with homemade bread from his wife was awesome and so was the other goodies we had baked for us 😋 I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Absolutely charming! Wine was fabulous as was the host … loved learning about the history of their family vineyard. Very enjoyable experience, perfect way to end our trip to Croatia 😊🍷❤️

The most gorgeous experience, the hosts of this evening are lovely, informative and inviting. The wines, oils and alcoholic liqueurs were delicious and super enjoyable and it was well organised and planned, especially in terms of transportation. Would love to return in the future.

The sunset wine tasting was marvelous! Ivica and Domininka were so wonderful and accommodating, even with the small snafu we had with our pickup. The Vardia vineyard is gorgeous and we felt very welcomed and at home. My friends and I had a fun time tasting wine, homemade bread and olive oil and getting to know other travelers on the experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed hearing from Ivica and Domininka about the long run family vineyard and their lives in Dubrovnik. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful evening, drinking beautiful wine, and eating beautiful bread and olive oil at a beautiful setting. The vineyard is perfect for watching the sunset and listening to stories from the hosts, 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

It was an unforgettable evening watching the sunset over the hills with a glass of craft wine in hand. The views were stunning, surrounded by olive trees and vines.
We were picked up, gently hiked through the hills and warmly welcomed by the owner, who guided us personally. He shared stories of his family’s winemaking and olive oil production, and made sure everyone felt included.
The olive oil, bread and wine were all delicious, and the setting felt peaceful and authentic. A refreshing experience after hot summer days.

FANTASTIC evening outside Dubrovnik! Great hosts and easy transportation. The wine and other vineyard goodies were DELISH and the host family was an absolute delight to meet. And those views! :) Absolutely recommend!

ABSOLUTELY the most lovely experience of our trip! This felt like a friend sharing his home with us, everything was curated so beautifully and the evening had a personal touch that was so appreciated. Definitely exceeded our expectations with the personal attention to detail, you can tell the family loves what they do and put their whole heart into their farm. Homemade food (bread, cookies, candied almonds from the farm) were exceptional. To be able to bake like that is truly a gift. We loved the generous pours of wine and the olive oil was probably the finest we have ever had. I wish everyone could experience Croatia like this, so peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend, it was so beyond wonderful.

It was a lovely time at the vineyard. Very personal and friendly guide. They do not have a winery tasting room, we had our event in the vineyard path. Amazing olive oil, homemade bread and other goodies. The wines were good.

We had the best time, the vineyards are superb and obviously the owner cares very much about what he does. We learnt a lot, the setting is stunning and the wine is fantastic

Very relaxing & endearing host, who gives every little detail the best, as it is his passion. Wine & views make it a special experience, just like the sunset we were lucky enough to enjoy, very picturesque. In short, would highly highly recommend!! Thank you again Ivica.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We were looking for something low key but fun to do in or near Dubrovnik on my birthday and we’re happy to find this experience on Viator. We were lucky to have a private experience as no one else sign up (likely due to time of year). Ivica was a fabulous host, nice guy, patient answering all our questions and sharing great insights on his family history and his wine making. He served some home made appertivos, delicious bread with olive oil from his trees, some tasty almonds also from trees on his farm and some nice holiday cookies his wife made. It’s a rustic but comfortable environment- feeling authentic and charming. The wines were good and the view over the sun setting into the Adriatic was really fabulous!
Highly recommend.

This is a must have experience. You won’t regret it. If you’re looking for something intimate, off the beaten track and memorable then this is the tour for you. Breathtaking sunset views while sipping preservative free wine and eating homemade bread dipped in amazing olive oil. Wonderful tour guide who is dedicated to preserving the intimate native of the tour

We loved visiting this small vineyard which only produces wine for tours and their family and friends. The wine was so clean…no sulphites or preservatives and served with delicious homemade bread and olive oil. A great couple of hours away from the city with easy pick up.

Learning more about wine and eating the almonds, real fun experience. Fab views and lovely company. Few mosquitoes but a lovely Singaporean lady helped get rid of one on me 😆

This was the highlight of our trip! We had a lovely time on this tour. A beautiful setting, amazing sunset and delicious wines and other treats! The family are very passionate and welcoming, shared lots of very interesting stories and made us feel very well looked after! Would really recommend this experience

This is a real hidden gem. A privately owned vineyard where the owner shared beautiful wine, homemade bread, olive oil, and biscuits with us as we watched the sunset from his "Wine Hide." Not to missed.

The sunset wine tasting (plus other treats) was my favorite thing I did in Dubrovnik. Would HIGHLY recommend visiting.
jacqueline_k, Sep 2024
We loved this experience learning about their family business and their history. It was very personal and we walked through the olive groves up to a seating area facing the sunset which was just beautiful. Domenica made homemade bread (delicious) for olive oil tasting and the liqueur and wines were both very nice. She also made a surprise - cookies- since we were their largest group.
. Thanks for the hospitality!
Aoife_E, Sep 2024
Was one of the highlights of our trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone. You were made to feel so welcome and it was so interesting to taste and hear about the different wines and liqueurs.
Sofia_P, Sep 2024
Be prepared before hand with your insect repellent. Too many mosquitoes as soon as we got there. The host had some but only when we got to the area where we were sitting to taste ( mosquitoes had already attacked us lol ). We experienced the families amazing rakia, spring water, homemade bread, white and rose wine along with a homemade cookie. Was phenomenal with a beautiful sunset view🙂

The place itself is magical with Cherry, almond, pomegranate, lemon, olive trees, big bushes of rosemary and bay…the owner is charming…we tried his wines and olive oil…saw a beautiful sunset and enjoyed talking to the other guests…delightful and well worth doing!

Really enjoyable trip, watching the sun set with a lovely glass of wine. Great host, very passionate about his vineyard/farm.

Communication was wonderful. Our host was fantastic. The views were amazing. The olive oil, bread, and wine were all delicious. It was a great relaxing way to end a long day at the beach.
Lotti_C, Apr 2023
An excellent trip which is well worth its value and unique in every way. The vineyard itself was very small with only a couple rows of vines with our lovely tour guide and vineyard owner Ivica telling us all about how he got it started. We got to walk around freely as he told stories and also showed us his homegrown rosemary, almonds, olives and apricots. We were treated to not only their signature white wine and last years rose, but a walnut and lemon liqueur, homemade bread and olive oil and some roasted sweet almonds. The view was gorgeous and the weather was fair but there were blankets ready if the weather turned. The vineyard only produces around 800 litres of wine a year so we were lucky to be able to purchase a bottle and visit the seller itself which gave an independent and authentic vibe.
I'd highly recommend for a little piece of the local culture and to try natural wines how they're meant to be, without any preservatives and made entirely by hand.
