The hosts speak fluent...
The hosts speak fluent english, comes with complimentary drinks, and the dancing is very beginner friendly. I have no dancing experience and the instructor gave examples, lots of practice, and it was fun learning 3 different styles of dance. I would highly recommend for a good time & good laugh!

Book with Legaxy!
This walking tour is great for visitors who want to get to know the history of Cartagena. Legaxy was a fantastic guide who really knows his stuff when it comes to this beautiful city - he even has some fun tidbits for kids if you’re traveling with children. This one’s a no brainer, if you want to learn about Cartagena - book this tour!

Great experience CTG to Bocagrande
Great communication and reasonable pricing made this a wonderful experience! We received a message from Samaria Tours the day before our flight letting us know when and how they would be in touch. On our travel day, Gloria sent a highly detailed message confirming our reservation, providing our transportation coordinator’s name, and instructions of how to find her at the airport. Our friendly coordinator Yulieth welcomed us and waited with us for our driver to arrive. We felt very well taken care of and had no stress about getting to our hotel.

Enjoyed the birds and the beach
I wanted a bit of a beach experience but I was very excited for the aviary which was enjoyable. I did not have high expectations of the show but it was very enjoyable. 2 hours is more than enough time to sit and watch birds along the way. Time at the beach-I saw mixed reviews so I wasn’t sure what to expect but our food was good. As people said the dining space has shade and you can sit there if you want without extra cost. They have lockers to hold your belongings at a reasonable price which was nice. I think once we ate we had about 1.5 hours on our own time at beach which was perfect for what we wanted. Some people did extra things on the boats and if I had done a full day I would’ve taken advantage of it but this is exactly what we were looking for with the time we had. It was a bit confusing on the buses when leaving but our guide gave the number of the bus but we didn’t see it at first as it was parked very far away. They called names before driving away and made sure we were on the correct bus (which seems to be a good improvement from prior). Manuel “Mike” was a good and fun guide.

Incredible Food Tour with an Amazing Guide!
Our walking street food tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Alvaro, was incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about sharing the culture and history behind the local food. Every stop offered something unique, and the variety was outstanding.
We sampled everything from a delicious shrimp cocktail served with a plantain chip, to flavorful soup, a cheese arepa, sweet local treats, and what was described as the best bread in the world—and it definitely lived up to the hype! We also enjoyed tasting three different types of coffee and learning about their significance and preparation. The tour ended perfectly with a selection of fresh local fruits.
The food was plentiful, authentic, and gave us the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. If you’re looking for a great way to experience the local culture through food, I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Alvaro, for such a memorable experience!

Fantastic tour with Liz!
This was an amazing tour! Liz was so great. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Cartagena, where she was born and raised. The tour was very well organized and she was able to give so much information and answer any questions we had. Her English was also great, so we were able to understand her very well. Even though the city is very hot, and it was an especially humid day, she always made sure we were in the shade when we could be. She also had many tips on places to go and what to buy. This was a fantastic way to spend 2.5 hours on our first full day in Cartagena!

Fabulous Tour & Guide
Amazing tour. Very thorough. Our guide clearly told the history of the fortress & Getsemani neighborhood and all the areas we walked thru and gave us suggestions for other places to visit & food to try. Very open & interested in sharing his knowledge of Cartagena. Fabulous guide!

Cute outing!
It was very hands on. Offered 2 mimosas and a lil breakfast snack to get you started. The instructor and his translator both knowledgeable. However it was a bit slow for my taste. It was more of a laid back paint class. No turn up if that’s what you’re looking for.

Always enjoy going to the volcano
It was a beautiful day, and the people were extremely nice, they provided a nice lunch, and we went to a private beach. the volcano is extremely fun but understand you're not in there all day you get to go in there for 15 to 20 minutes and it's not that large but that's never bothered me the times I've gone the things that are frustrating there and it has nothing to do with the tour guide is that when you get in as people that want to massage you and then when you go to the Lagoon to wash off the ladies there are extremely rude if you don't want this services but just ignore that and enjoy the time it's a unique experience

Relaxing Time
A truly relaxing 1.5 to 2 hour trip to watch the sunset. There is one-drink (beer/wine/lemonade) included per person, but you can buy additional drinks (credit only). Simply stated: this is a relaxing cruise down the harbor to witness sunset. A nice photographer was on our trip. She takes wonderful pictures. Don't hesitate, spend a nice relaxing ride with your partner, parents, or kids.

Great tour! Highly recommend
It was an excellent tour. Our guide was very informative and up beat. She gave us the history of how the foods and the food stops came to be. We got to sample a good variety of different foods. We definitely didn’t go hungry.
Only thing that would be nice and isn’t on this tour is a coffee/chocolate stop. As it is I highly recommend this tour. We enjoyed it.

Perfect experience!
This was an excellent family experience! The crew kept checking in on us to refill our (delicious) drinks, and were helpful with our stroller. Our son was picked for the pirate fight, and the costumes/fireworks made it the highlight of his whole trip.
The same boat also offered a day trip to Tierra Bomba, which was a perfect pace for our young children as compared to other jam-packed itineraries. The owners and crew were thoughtful in shortening/extending timelines based on our interest in each activity, and shared stories to increase our understanding of the area and its history. They even offered antinausea medication when my husband felt seasick. We enjoyed the stories, care, and companionship from the crew members on board, and would highly recommend both the sunset cruise and the day trip for families. They were the highlights of our time in Cartagena.
