Extremely crowded for the summer season. Purchased tickets ahead of time here, and barely found parking, but that comes with the time of year we went. (July) Gondala is as awesome - very cool up top. Ate at the restaurant Sky Bistro, which was very high class for us but we really enjoyed it!!! Staff for both restaurant, gift shop, and Gondala were all extremely nice and kind. They gave us free digital photos as a marriage present - very sweet!

Its a good idea to book ahead of time, however you still have to stand in line. Had to wait inline to redeem our rickets and then wait in line to go up. Once your up there its beautiful, staff are pretty friendly and they are pretty fast.

Stunning views

Great experience if you are in Banff would highly recommend. Just show your booked ticket to the roam bus route 1 for a free bus ride up as parking looked busy. Stunning views on the way up and all around. Went to the buffet lunch at the top which was worth the elevated price, was a once in a lifetime experience and staff were super friendly.
