Wonderful times with Laura.
It was the best trip Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable . She was also very caring and helpful. She made sure we were comfortable due to the extreme warm weather Europe was experiencing. Laura is an exceptional tour guide. I would do this excursion again it was so enjoyable.

This is Bucharest!
This tour pulls together the fabric of the old city and its dismissal of the Ceaucescu regime with great clarity. Dan, our guide even had video images of the final day. Thanks to this exceptional guide we have come away with memories that will make us return

Excellent orientation of Bucharest on bike
Excellent communication via whatsapp prior to the tour, confirmed that they have small frame bikes for petite adult and kids bikes. Health and safety works differently in eastern europe, so no obligatory helmets or rules around 10 year olds on bikes next to traffic - but that is the fun of it. My daughter loved biking amongst traffic and felt a huge sense of achievement. Lucia was extremely knowledgeable and took us around all the main landmarks with an open honest conversation about the life in the country. Talking about her own experience as a child in the communist regime was so much more authentic than any revised facts commentary. We cycled on a very hot day and water was provided. All bikes were well maintained, gears worked well and had baskets to keep our bags. All in all, a very enjoyable half a day.

Visit to Veliko Tarnovo
Our small group was very well looked after by our guide Gabriel. Veliko Tarnovo is a stunning location with beautiful buildings and view points. Gabriel recommended a very pleasant restaurant for lunch. The rock monastery and Arabsnasi village are pleasant additional stops. Gabriel ensured regular toilet/ coffee stops.
Recommended.

A must-do experience in Bucharest for wine connoisseurs!
This was simply an amazing experience. I was the only one on this tour and it was one of the highlights of my Bucharest visit. I was generous quantities of wine and the charcuterie board. There was no rush and I was given enough time to really enjoy this experience!
Thank you so much for being an amazing host, and also for the spicy jam! Highly recommend this tour!

Great ghost tour with knowledgeable guide
I did the ghost and legends tour with Tudor on a rainy cold night. Despite the weather, the group was in good spirits, eager to hear stories about ghosts, demons, witches, and vampires.
Tudor is a very knowledgeable guide who tailors the tours to the tastes of the group, drawing from rich knowledge about all things supernatural and explaining Romanian traditions and beliefs incredibly well.
A brilliant spooky tour that led us past fascinating places and maybe a little too close to haunted buildings.

Rich Cultural Experience
Great day trip to northern Bulgaria out of Bucharest! Our visit enhanced our vacation and provided a more nuanced understanding of the region, including 20th century history and local interpretation of the communist era. Be prepared for several hours of driving, including some stop and go. Bathroom stops were available as needed. We strongly considered driving this ourselves, something we have done in other European countries, and at the end of the day we were very glad we went with a driver. Seban Riga was our guide and took incredibly good care of us, enriching the journey with both historical facts and local perspectives. He was energetic, engaging, and thoughtful to ensure the trip exceeded all of our expectations. It is wise to have some Euros on hand, as the modest entrance fees to some of the sites may not take cards. We also paid gratuity in Euro, and could have paid in Lei.

Mario karts in Bucharest
This exeprience is one not to miss seeing the town in a mini hot rod. Looking at the beautiful city and the amazing buildings while feeling like you are in your own little game. The tour guide was amazing and took some amzing photos and videos of our experince. The group was small so felt better the guide kept us all together and safe. I would do this again it was so much fun.

Worth the Experience
Group of 19 people. Driver was already waiting for the people in front of the Hotel. Two hour drive to the Salt Mines, with 30 minutes stop in a gas station with a Luca Store. The driver, that identified himself as driver not guide, was really helpful and spoke english. We left on time. Arrived at 10:30. The mine is worth it. We left at 13:00. Around the mine and inside there are places to eat. We arrived to the city around 15h, since the group chose not to stop in the gas station.

Very knowledgeable and lots of fun
Alina was a verifiable fountain of knowledge regarding the architectural, cultural, and societal history of Bucharest, Romania, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Russia and their relationship to Western Europe and the US. She's very personable, has a great sense of humor, who challenged what we've been taught about the region. I feel fortunate to having her as our guide.

Best in the business. Guide for the Day, Friend for Life!
Christina was just a joy as a guide. Not only does she know the city like the back of her hand and the history of Romania, but she had so many personal and differing perspectives to share about various events. It was invaluable time spent together. We spent more time together than our allotted time just due to good conversations. I would highly recommend her to anyone coming to Bucharest.
And Bart lost out on her great potential! She is a gem!!!

Walking the streets of Bucharest
The private tour of communism was amazing. Our guide Andra met us at our hotel lobby so we did not have to locate a separate location. Andra was very informative and honest. She shared many first hand personal experiences from her family life. This approach made the experience come alive. She planned the walking tour in a very sequential manner helping us to understand how the rule of communism affected the population. At the conclusion of the tour she asked how she could help us. As a result she walked with us to our next location. We highly recommend this tour and Andra as a guide. Worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed.
