What are people saying about Bruges

Good tour, Chris very knowledgeable
We booked a private tour over public since we were a group of 5 and arrived by cruise so had limited time in the city.
We had Chris who was very knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out details we would otherwise missed.
Although was a private tour, at times felt a little scripted and run like a public tour, meaning sometimes felt slow and other times too fast. Just a note for future if able to adapt to the group and personalise it slightly. By no means a negative though and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, leaving the city with knowledge, history & chocolates! Would recommend to others, especially if only in the city for the day.

Great Bruges Walking Tour
This was the second time I’ve taken this tour on visits to Bruges. Celine was a fabulous tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bruges and all things Bruges. She was considerate of the rainy weather, and she did our best to give her “information blurbs/photos” under cover. Bruges is such a lovely city. I would highly recommend this walking tour while in Bruges.

Magical Late Afternoon into Early Evening in Bruges
We flew to Brussels that morning and had to wait to check into the hotel. Not knowing when we might arrive in Bruges, we didn't book the tour until we were on the train to Bruges. We were so grateful to hear back from Ann that she could take us for a tour with such short notice. We only had a few hours, but felt like we managed to see a lot. She was flexible and kind enough to be willing to let us interrupt the walking tour with a boat tour (extra 15 euros person) and then surprised us by treating us to water and chocolates too. It was great to spend a few hours with someone who had grown up in the City. We were too late in the day to see some attractions, but she brought us inside two churches and she dropped us off at a lovely restaurant for dinner. Thank you, Ann!

Wonderful Class
We had such a wonderful time learning how to make delicious chocolate candies. We loved our instructor (I forget her name). She was so nice and explained everything so well. We also loved making connections with the other two couples at our cooking table. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Brugge.

Bruges for the win!
Incredible, almost familiar, feel
to this excellent tour. Our tour guide, and a local proud born and raised Bruges resident Charlise, immediately connected with our group. It was a memorable visit to a very special place, and we were amazed. Excellent, excellent tour.

Come hungry!
Our family had a wonderful time on the Bruges Food tour. It was the perfect amount of walking, history and food. It was a beautiful day and our tour guide was very knowledgable about both the city of Bruges and the food. We first stopped for some Belgian chocolate, then on to a church that had what they believe to be the blood of Christ on a cloth which we felt fortunate to see. We had croquettes, traditional Flemish stew, beers with cheese and two kinds of Belgian waffles. This tour truly made our trip to Bruges the best thing we did on our vacation!

Bruges on foot
It was a bus ride from the Royal Caribbean Cruise terminal to the main city. Lots of History but a lot of walking. The store is not for people who have walking issues.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and sweet. We chose this excursion through Viator, and Royal Caribbean also uses this company for their passengers. The tour operator was very keen on bringing everybody back to the cruise terminal on time. I would recommend this tour.

Excellent Bruge Walking Tour
The Dark Side of Bruges walking tour was excellent and one of the highlights of our visit! My granddaughter & I loved it.
When we met in the town square, our guide explained that because it doesn't get dark until around 10:00–10:30 p.m. during this time of year, the tour would be a little different than the traditional "Dark Side" experience. It actually made for a wonderful evening of exploring the city.
Our guide was exceptional. His knowledge of Bruges' history, legends, and fascinating stories kept us engaged from beginning to end. He led us down charming, narrow streets and hidden alleyways that most visitors—and even many other tours—never see.
One of my favorite parts was seeing the original wooden houses and learning how homeowners carefully restore and preserve them according to their original historical designs. We learned so much about the city's history and architecture while enjoying a unique perspective of Bruges.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bruges. It's informative, entertaining, and a great way to discover parts of the city that many visitors miss.

We had a great time on...
We had a great time on this tasting tour. Our guide, Martin, did a great job blending the history of the food we were tasting as well as the history of the city and surrounding areas. Hard to say what our favorite tasting was… But I think the chocolate may be the winner for us. Great way to explore the city, learn the history, and eat/drink our way around town. 5 ⭐️

Great Experience!
This was a fun experience. Luis was a great tour guide and explained a lot of the history in Brugge. It was a comfortable pace. We went early s there was plenty of great photo opportunities (no large crowds). After the tour, there was ample time to shop and go back to the places that really interested us, then we were guided back to the bus.

Waffles and Beer in Belgium - Why Wouldn't You do this?
I did this experience with my wife and 14 year old son. We all thought it was amazing. We have recently begun taking cooking classes on Viator when we travel, and I thought this was amongst the best I have participated in. You begin with a nice tasting of Belgian beers. Dad happy! Then you make belgian waffles. Mom happy! And my son enjoyed it as well. I took pictures and ate the waffles. So delicious! Our instructor was excellent and very personable. There was a group of young Dutch women also, and they mainly conversed in dutch, but I thought he did a nice job in interpreting what they asked and his response. Unnecessary, but went the extra mile.

A great tour
We had a really knowledgeable guide, and learnt so much. The whole tour was great from start to finish. At the Menin Gate there was also a piper band from an Airdree regiment playing, which made the last post ceremony even more moving. A long day but well worth it
