Totally disorganized at start of excursion. Used up some of our tour time. Craziness. Not well planned out how to hand out headsets etccc

Thank you for your compliment. If we were truly disorganized, we would not be among the top operators, serving 25–30 K cruise passengers arriving in Zeebrugge each cruise season. Fortunately, your feedback is the only negative comment received from your entire group. According to your guide, you expected a private tour. Please note that private tours on Viator are clearly labeled as PRIVATE in their titles and are typically priced at least three times higher than shared tours. As stated in the tour description, shared tours include a 30-minute waiting window to allow fellow cruisers to disembark. If you prefer not to wait and would like a more personalized experience, we strongly recommend booking a private tour rather than expecting one from a shared service. Safe travels!

The tour guide did a great job and was very knowledgeable about the city, Bruges. She answered questions and was elaborate with her descriptions of buildings and history of the city. The tour operator though was disorganized. There were two full size buses for this tour. We were told there would be 2 guides per bus. That did not happen. our group was just over 50 people. Confusion of receiving earphones for tour, waiting on another tour guide who didn’t show up was unprofessional and delayed the start of tour. time. Also, there were 2 cruise ships in port. There were way too many people in such a small city. I gave 3 stars only because our guide did a good job of providing information of the city and did her best managing such a large group.

The total number of cruise passengers collected was 50; however, the buses used were 25-seaters. This means each group did not exceed 25 guests and explored with a separate guide. 2. If you want to compare the experience of being in a larger group, you can book one of shore excursions offered by your ship—which typically covers less than half sites than our tour. 3. We understand that when two or more cruise ships arrive in Zeebrugge on the same day, Bruges can become very crowded. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. For a quieter experience, you are welcome visiting during the low season. 4. The tour duration was exactly as stated in the itinerary provided at the time of booking. It seemed very disorganized. There was to many people in our group. A lot of standing and waiting. We had 12 in our group and most were disappointed.

According to your guide’s report, your disappointment seems to have stemmed from the expectation of a private tour, which you expressed at the meeting. Please note that most private tours on Viator are clearly marked as PRIVATE in the title and usually cost at least twice as much as shared tours. 2. The tour departed on time. A 30-minute pickup window is not a sign of disorganization, but rather a courtesy to fellow cruisers who may not be among the first to disembark. If you prefer to leave immediately upon disembarkation without waiting for others, we recommend booking a private tour instead of expecting one from a shared group. 3. This excursion was wonderful. Our guide showed us the beauty of Bruges. Our guide was very funny and did an amazing job. The architecture is incredible. The canal cruise was relaxing and we enjoyed it so much. The canal cruise captain was very funny and made the cruise even better. Highly recommend!
