Our guide Celine was excellent. Her local knowledge, delivery and presentation made the tour that much better. Bruge is a treasure in itself, and seeing it with a local guide was the best way to learn about its history.

Brecht was a great tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We walked away feeling like we learned a lot about the city and its history. The tour is 2.5 hours which was the perfect amount of time. Highly recommend!

Bruges walk guided tour

John_D, Apr 2026
Recommended. Our guide Anthony met our group on time and as described. He was a local lad who was born in Bruges and certainly knew his way around. Spoke good English which was useful as we were from UK. Very interesting and learnt a lot of History in the Two hours.. The guides expect a generous top at the end which we were all happy to give.

Recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bruges

Karen_A, Apr 2026
We had a wonderful tour guide who shared so many great details about Bruges! We would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city that wants to learn the history and nuances. We even got to taste Belgium Chocolate that was made locally!

Wonderful! Lander was charismatic and gave a ton of history. He walked us through all the places we wanted to see. A most beautiful fairytale town. Very much enjoyed by my whole family including an 11 and 13 year old

Emile was great to listen too and very informative. With being very local himself and a history teacher at the local school, this shined through when talking to crowd and getting their attention. Well worth the time spent there

Great tour with Emil

Great way to see the city. Luc was a wonderful guide; he clearly enjoys what he does. Very knowledgeable and had great recommendations.

Would recommend!

Martin was fantastic! A perfectly paced tour, he was incredibly knowledgeable and balanced sorry telling and history seamlessly.

Definitely Use These Guides

Mik_M, Mar 2026
It was a walking tour which meant we were on our feet the entire time. At times it was a bit much for my 91 years old neighbor and my 76 year old wife, who really needed to sit at times. Other than that the tour guide and content were great and very worthwhile.

Fun and informative walking tour with Natalie.

Sophia_C, Feb 2026
Wonderful tour with Natalie. Fun and informative, saw the beautiful sights of Bruges in about 2.5 hours. Great fun!

Hannah_B, Feb 2026
It is important to note that the guides do not get paid through Viator and this is a tip based tour. So make sure you have cash! That being said, our guide was great. He kept a good energy and matched the pace for the group. He did an excellent job of making sure everyone was included and was open to questions. Martin taught us more about the history of the city than several of the museums we had gone to prior to the tour. I would highly recommend booking a tour. It’s well worth the time and payment.

Brugge Experience

Brigida_A, Feb 2026
Patrick was a font of information. Very knowledgeable. Brugge is a beautiful city. But be ready for all the cobblestones!

Informative experience

Graeme_B, Feb 2026
That the guide should be tipped handsomely as they have to pay to do the tour. The tour we went on was very historically and people-orientated. I would have liked more social and cultural history.

A fantastic tour of a beautiful city.

deborah_B, Feb 2026
Wow! We knew that we were in for a treat from the moment Louis started the tour. His knowledge of Bruges was exemplary and he made its history come alive with a wealth of fascinating stories. His clear love for the city in which he was born and bred was wonderful. We were lucky that there ended up only being four of us on the tour which allowed us to ask lots of questions which were always answered thoroughly. I don't know the quality of the other guides but if you were lucky enough to be shown around by Louis, you would not be disappointed.

No show guide!

Peter_I, Jan 2026
We waited from 10:20 until 10:50 am - guide never showed up - we were confident we had the right place. Guide from another company came and met with his clients at the same time. Very disappointing.

Highly recommend this activity. Wilium led an enjoyable, interesting and informative stroll around Bruges, including complimentary chocolates. Great experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Fun Tour to See the City

Had Victoria as a guide who was fantastic! She offered a fun blend of historical knowledge and personal flair, pointing out some unique facts and sights that you wouldn’t find out on your typical tour

Amazing guide

Andrea_H, Jan 2026
A really interesting and fun 2 hours with our group and guide Thomas. The weather didn’t put a downer on the tour and Thomas made the experience with his humour, knowledge and friendly manner.

Lovely engaging tour
