Taking the shuttle form the cruise port of Zeebrugge to Bruges was super easy. We walked across the street and checked it and since we pre-booked online, we were priority and were able to get on the first bus. The "shuttle" was a full size bus that was very comfortable for the 20-30 minute drive to Brugge. Once dropped off, we were able to explore the area and the met the driver back at the same location that we were dropped off on. Would totally do that again and highly recommend it.

I did back to back cruises that each stopped at Zeebrugge. The first week this place was mobbed with long lines to both pick up tickets and buy tickets. A lot of people were confused why they bought tickets just to have to wait in line to pick up the tickets. That week I purchased an excursion thru viator. The second time I stopped was when I used this service. There were no lines that day. I walked right up and showed my viator code and moved over to wait to be escorted to the bus. At that point I was THE only person waiting. The guide did warn me that they would wait a bit to allow more passengers to gather which was completely understandable as it’s a full sized coach. The wait was only about 15-20 mins before we were allowed to board. We waited about 10 more minutes and were on our way. The trip takes about 15-20 minutes. The drop off is a short walk to the city center. I deliberately went on an early shuttle so I could see the city before shops opened and it was full of people. The first return trips were about 4 hours after the first drop off. They adjust these time based on your ship’s arrival times. The last trip back left plenty of time to get back with at least an hour before the gangway goes up. Their shop has a lot of chocolates from the nearby chocolate factory and some souvenirs. That factory was worth a visit for some low priced chocolates, just follow the signs. There is also a Spar a short walk from the shuttle pickup. Note that you can’t walk across the port area, you must take a free shuttle to the edge of the port to the ABC building. That takes about a minute but is for our safety since it’s a busy port with a naval base. The city shuttle ticket office/shop is just outside the ABC exit. If there are several in your party you may find it more economical to take a cab. They were lined up waiting for people to need them.

Great way to get from the port to Bruges. Much cheaper than ship-organised excursions. Really straightforward, port shuttle takes you out side of the port, collect tickets from shop directly outside and a short walk up a small hill to get the bus. Buses were plentiful, clean and well organised. Around 15-20 mins walk from drop off in Bruges to the main square, a lovely walk in.

The shuttle was the same one offered by the cruise ship. The workers were nice, the bus was nice and comfortable, easy ride. The problem we did encounter was that the address listed for the “meeting point” was a random number down the street, it wasn’t where the big stand is. We walked back and forth along the street and couldn’t find it. We walked BACKED to the stand and showed the man there and he said no, that wasn’t them. So we walked back and forth along the street again. I pulled up the actual ticket and we went back where the guy said “oh yes, this is us”. We missed the earlier shuttle due to this confusion. I hope that the workers can be informed better about bookings done through Viator so there’s less confusion for someone else.

Easy access from cruise port, comfortable journey and practical pickup. Trip as described great option to explore.

Well organised shuttle to Brugge. Only let down was no one was given direct from coach part into town or given a map

Shuttle leaves right from Port area and takes you within a short walk of the center of Bruges. By booking ahead we were able to skip the long line of cruise passengers waiting for tickets. Highly recommend booking through Viator!

Very easy way to get from cruise ship to center of Bruges. Cruise ship takes you to port entrance. Shuttle takes you to the city.

A nice simple way to get of the cruise ship in Zeebruger and pick up the coach tickets at port to then take you to Bruges. Less than half the cost of the cruise ships and less waiting around.

If you have a port of call in Bruges and want to see the city without the extra expense of excursions- highly recommend buying your transfer tickets in advance. The line to buy in port can be long. It is about a half hour drive from the cruise port. Drop off/pickup spot is about another 10-15 walk into the city from there. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They even passed out chocolates while people waited in line.

A very comfortable bus. The ride is approximately 25-30 minutes. Pick up and drop off locations are convenient and easy to find.

The ticket booth was right next to the cruise terminal. Easy access. We got on before the scheduled 8:30 start. Much cheaper than ships excursion for 60.

You need to take the free shuttle out of the port but then this service is right there where you get dropped off. They run buses according to the cruise ship schedules so are perfectly geared for getting you to and from the centre. Brilliantly organised.

Everything went very smoothly on our transportation from Zeebrugge to Bruges and return. I would book them again .

Other travellers should be warned that there are several shuttle services used to get to Brugges. Consequently we lined up at the wrong queue because of lack of signage before being pointed in the right direction. Once we found the Viator queue, things went very smoothly.

Cruise Port Shuttle service from Zebrugge to Brugge:
New, large comfortable bus with half hour turn around at each end. (very efficient). Friendly staff who were sadly put under pressure because there was only one staff member to both sell transfer tickets and check-in pre-sold tickets. (Very unfair to the staff member!). Two signs, one for purchasing tickets and one for pre-sold tickets resulted in a huge line of customers who formed two lines as indicated but needed to merge into one. (some very disgruntled customers believing they were being pushed out of the line.)
jnmassey, Jun 2026
Upon arrival at the port we made our way to the lineup for the prepurchased tickets which was easy to find. However the staff for loading the bosses were very disorganized. They were arguing and gesturing with each other while busses were sitting waiting to be loaded while people were standing around. They seemed unsure and confused. If they get this sorted out it would be a good option vs the cruise line

Easy transport into Bruge with a dedicated bus drop off point. Advertised as having 2 lines in Zeebrugge to collect tickets- one for prepaid and one to purchase tickets but only 1 person serving. I am not sure why we needed to queue to collect a paper ticket. The company should allow the Viator voucher to be proof of purchase.
Having said that Bruges is glorious.
Patricia_S, Jun 2026
Total chaos getting our prepaid tickets. Once we got them it went smoothly. We stood in a line for almost 40 minutes. There were only 2 people handing them out.
Maria_f, Jun 2026
We had a very good time! Very organized! No problem, hassle free. I would recommend this to my family and friends!
Samuel_W, Jun 2026
Shuttle was convenient and on time. It was good to get our tickets ahead of time because there was a long line of people trying to buy tickets
David_G, Jun 2026
Despite numerous past reviews about chaotic check-in process, nothing has changed. Staff seemed surprised by arrival of several port shuttle buses from our mid size cruiseship. Paper lists of pre-booked passengers were laboriously checked, no scanning of bar codes, while new cash customers were quickly given tickets.
The line for pre-booked tickets was substantially longer than line for those buying new tickets. They bought tickets and were on their way much sooner. What happened to Viator website quote “by booking online we ensure you that you will be treated with priority.”
Mandy_N, Jun 2026
Awful experience. No priority for pre booking. Why do you have to queue to exchange a QR code for a ticket? Why not just scan QR code. Queued for 20 minutes to pick up ticket. Shuttle bus very hot both ways. Wish we had taken cruise shuttle instead.

Excellent, the tour guide was the best and had so much knowledge and humor… it is the best trip we have taken
Joan_L, Jun 2026
Terrible experience. One person to handle two lines, one of people who pre booked, one who didn’t. So he was focused on those who had. We had, so thought all was good. Then into another line…which after about 10 minutes, they said people with gold tickets could board bus. Ours wasn’t gold..but turns out, should have been. Who knew? So back to booth (me and others), fighting the crowd, who was not happy, to get the magic gold ticket. Finally on bus. Not sure what to expect for return trip. Lesson learned. Spend the extra dollars and take taxi or u er, which seemed to be readily available.

To get from Zeebrugge to Brugge takes approximately 30 minutes. The coach travel booked through Viator was faultless. The coach was on time for both outward and return journeys and immaculately clean.
Donald_C, Jun 2026
On time, comfortable and friendly bus service to excellent point to explore Bruges from the cruise terminal.
Stephen_T, Jun 2026
Cruise Ship was late into port (Zeebrugge) but no provision was made to enable me to obtain tickets for shuttle bus service from the cruise terminal to Bruges.
Anne_W, May 2026
Very efficient and reasonably priced. Would recommend if on a cruise. Parked about 10 minutes walk from Bruges Centre as buses not allowed

Well organised. Great shuttle bus from the port into Bruges. Easy to use and find and cheaper than booking on the ship.
