Excellent day trip to Saint Emilion wine region. Everything was as advertised, English speaking guide, city tour, excellent picnic lunch, comfortable transportation for 6, and of course 3 wineries. Great food tour around Bordeaux Old Town with Alex as we explored various shops adding items to create our final feast at the Fromagerie. Both Alex and the shop owner where great is explaining all items we had acquired and was plenty to go around. Tour was a good size and a nice way to spend an evening as a solo traveller.

Excellent Tour and Guide!

Our trip was wonderful! Guy was an outstanding guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about history, wine and the region in general, and was very kind and patient with us. One of our group had a medical issue and needed a pharmacy, but didn’t speak French. Guy came in with her and translated for the pharmacist, which we felt went above and beyond. He was also a very skilled driver, navigating us through traffic from a student protest, and we felt very safe and comfortable. St. Emilion was a charming village and the winery/chateaux experience was very educational. We would highly recommend this tour and Guy in particular!

Beautiful Autumn Day in the Vineyards

Great small group of 8. Meeting point at the Olala Bordeaux office within 10 min. easy walk from cruise ship. Our guide Valentin met us right on time. Picturesque walk thru village of St. Emilio, then tour and delicious, light lunch at Vachon vineyard. Tours of Margaux estate and 2 more vineyards after lunch. Valentin was charming and extremely knowledgeable of the area, the wines, plus French food and customs in general. Returned to Bordeaux before 7pm. Learned a great deal about Bordeaux wines and vineyards. A perfect shore excursion as we spent overnight in port. We highly recommend!

Great experience…wish it was longer!

We did the four hour tour from Bordeaux to Saint Emilian with Laetitia and enjoyed it immensely! Wine tasting was at Bellevue… Absolutely beautiful and delicious! Laetitia was very very knowledgeable about the area and wine. She even recommended great places to go to eat and/or drink when we got back to Bordeaux. We only wish we had more time in Saint Emilian, it was just beautiful!
