Wonderful tour. We were the only two leaving from Bordeaux and met up with another very nice couple on St Emilion. Pauline was an exceptional guide - friendly, charming and knowledgeable. She is also a sommelier so was able to answer all our questions and offer a lot of interesting information along the way.
We visited two very nice wineries, a wine shop and the lovely village of St Emilion. The highlight though was biking through the gorgeous wine country. Five out of five experience.

Great experience with a great guide. We visited two different chatous, enjoyed a nice lunch at the first one. Saint-Emilion is really beautiful and a must if you visit Bordeaux. Doing the visit on bike is the perfect way.
If I could change one thing I would have preferred to shorten the breaks slightly and make the whole trip 1,5 hours shorter, it’s a long day.

Lovely day. So much fun biking through French wine country. It a full day with 2 tastings at two different Chateaux and one in town. Light lunch of cheese /baguette/ dessert. Our guide Pauline was so nice and informative. The tastings are small; no real opportunity to have a glass and linger longer. But I guess that’s the nature of these tours. The e-bikes were great as it was a solid amount of cycling. Overall really great. Highly recommend.

Very enjoyable! We had so much fun! The bike riding through Bordeaux was amazing! The first winery and picnic was perfect! Everything was wonderful. I loved the wine shop at the end but could have skipped the town tour. Way too long for the end of the day after wine tasting. Roberto was an exceptional guide!

We loved our experience with Rustic Vines! Our tour guide, intern Sam, was knowledgeable, friendly and
helped make our day so fun. With the heatwave, we were the only ones booked for the day so we ended up on a private tour. Sam kept us well-hydrated and even indulged us on a few side quests for ice cream and old church viewings. Zipping through the countryside on bikes is 100% the best way to see all the appellations and appreciate changes in the terrain and see the growing methods up close. We loved each winery tour and tasting and the visit to the wine merchant was incredibly informative. 12/10, would book again and again!

I had an excellent full-day biking wine tour through Saint-Émilion, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my time in Bordeaux. The experience struck a great balance between activity, education, and pure enjoyment. Cycling through the vineyards was both scenic and relaxed, with just enough structure to keep things smooth without feeling rushed. The wine component was particularly well done. We visited a variety of estates, each offering a different perspective on the region—from traditional family-run châteaux to more modern operations. We had a wonderful electric bike tour through the countryside. It was well organized with lots of stops and very nice Chateaus were chosen for us to visit. If it is going to be sunny wear a hat and sunscreen. You won't realize that you are burned until afterwards. The bikes had multiple levels of assistance. It was one of our favorite activities while we were in Bordeaux!
Beautiful vineyards, fabulous wine and the biking was an added bonus. Jev our guide was the best Would 100 % recommend
The entire tour was fantastic. Stanislav, the guide, was excellent. The bike ride takes you to beautiful areas in the right bank while stopping at several Chateaux to sample the wonderful wines around the St. Emilion village. A guided tour of the town and a delicious picnic lunch made this a memorable experience.
Our guide was Ismail - he did a great job! We enjoyed getting to know him and loved that he was able to share his knowledge of the area and wine with us. We had bad weather so opted for a van tour rather than the bikes. The chateau’s we visited were so interesting and different from each other and the wines were delicious! We absolutely loved the town of St Emilion and wished we had more time there- so cute! We wish Ismail much success as he continues his studies in the wine industry.

This is a really great experience. I would say that there is a lot of biking, so for some a half day might be better if you don't love biking like we do. We loved going to two different vineyards. But I'd make a recommendation that the last tasting at the wine shop in Saint-Emilion is not needed. Or at the very least, it should have been paired with food (we were hungry after all that biking and drinking more wine on an empty stomach was more than we needed). But overall, we absolutely loved the day.

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide Juliet was fantastic. She drove the 8 of us in a comfortable van to get the e-bikes in St. Emillion. We ride through the gorgeous countryside viewing the vineyards. The colors were outstanding. At the first vineyard we had tastings and a lovely lunch at picnic tables under a tree. No rushing, very relaxing. We bicycled to the next vineyard for more tastings. After we returned the e-bikes we walked through the beautiful village of St. Emillion. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

The ride and scenery were spectacular, host and company had things very organized and well run. Equipment and route was great.
The only two things I would change is getting a third winery in over trying wines in the village. Also, sampling some higher end wines and more volume of wines. One winery they only had 2 types. Didn’t get enough wines tastings for my preference, The other winery was great but they didn’t lets us sample any of the wines we would buy, just the entry level ones we wouldn’t buy. Would have likely bought a case of the high end if I could have tried it. Just bought 1 to try it later.
Not to be missed. We had a great time despite the August heat. The bicycle ride through the vineyards was amazing. The wine tasting was good and the picnic was excellent.
The tour was perfect in every way. By having an experienced and knowledgeable guide from Rustic Vines, it allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip snd experience San Emilion like we otherwise would not have been able to do. Seeing the countryside by riding e-bikes made it fun and easy. The two chateau we visited were absolutely lovely, and the wine was plentiful throughout the day, including a third tasting in a wine shop in the center of the charming city. The guide provided a perfect picnic lunch of cheese, bread, meats and veggies at one of the chateau visits. It was my favorite day of my trip to the Bordeaux region.
Very organised and good trip. The bike was in good shape. We had a good lunsj, and the trip was in a very nice area.

Maude was an amazing guide!! She is very knowledgeable not only of wines, but of the region and its history. Maude also created a delicious and filling charcuterie board for our mid-day picnic. During our bike rides, she took us through the actual vineyards, so we got an up close feel for the crops themselves. The tastings and winery tours were very educational and tasty. I would definitely do it again with Maude as my guide.

We can't imagine there is any better way to experience a full day in the Saint Emilion Appellation than an e bike tour with wine tasting and a fabulous picnic. From start to finish Madeleine created a wonderful and truly memorable experience for us. The group of 8 was fun and entertaining with some members of the group proving just how worthwhile this experience is, having returned for a 2nd visit.
