- Getting there: Public transport in Bordeaux can be unpredictable, so we recommend allowing extra travel time. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure — we offer a 5-minute grace period, but tours leave on schedule to respect everyone's time. Unfortunately, late arrivals, missed departures, and last-minute cancellations cannot be refunded.
- E-bike & classic bike groups: If the minimum number of participants for a dedicated e-bike or classic bike group isn't reached, we may combine both into a single group. Don't worry — the route, the distance, the guides, and the fun stay exactly the same. It's not about the bike, it's about the experience.

Joshua was our tour guide today, 26/06/2026, we were late to arrive at “the shed” due to taxi not arriving. He handled our delay with kindness and we set off on an excellent tour of Bordeaux. This was a really great way to see Bordeaux. I learned a lot and saw a lot. The only thing to caution others on is the bike riding was dangerous and you need to constantly be aware. You cannot rely on the guide to assist.

We also understand your comment regarding cycling in the city. A bike tour always requires participants to feel comfortable and confident riding a bicycle in an urban environment. Our guides’ role is to lead the route safely, share explanations, and manage the group, but they cannot fully control each participant’s personal comfort level or attention while riding.
Bordeaux is actually considered one of the best cycling cities in the world, and around 95% of our tour uses dedicated bike lanes and safe cycling paths. However, like in any city, staying attentive while biking remains essential.
As mentioned in the tour description, being at ease on a bike is important to fully enjoy the experience. For confident riders, the tour is usually very smooth and enjoyable.

This was a great way to see a lot of Bordeaux in 3 hours! As well as the historic sights of the old town, we got to cross the river to see a lovely arty area that we would not have found on our own! We had a great time on the ebike ride. Our tour guide Mika was VERY knowledgeable about the city of Bordeaux and we learned so much from him! He also took us to all areas of the city we could NEVER have found on our own. I would say to take this tour as soon as you arrive in town - then you will know where you want to return to see more. It feels like he took us to every single neighborhood- great guide and great tour!
Be sure to read all his information carefully because although he sent me an email the morning of, confirming the location for us to meet - Viator sent us to a different location . It was ok - they were only about 10 minutes apart, but it was frustrating to have followed their directions. That is why he sends you an email first thing in the morning with the correct directions. He says that Viator is difficult to change.

Since we work with two different bike shops — one for regular bikes and one for e-bikes — the correct starting point depends on the type of tour you booked. Unfortunately, the Viator back-office system doesn’t allow us to display two separate meeting locations, which creates occasional confusion.
That’s why I always send a detailed confirmation email on the morning of your tour with the accurate address and all the practical information you need. Thank you for taking the time to read it and for highlighting its importance for future guests.
