What an awesome tour with Sonia!!!! Wegl gave her a bit of a stress, arriving late, but she handled it so well. We met wonderful people from England, Germany and Dallas. Enjoyed the tour emensely, got a lot of info and tasted fab wine, especially from small family owned, organic Chateau le Chatelet. Met the owner, Virginie, and she was just wonderful, funny, informative and great conversationalist. The vine was outstanding, great that they ship to US at a very reasonable cost. Loved it. Recommend

What an amazing day we had. And along the drive Paolo enlightened us with history and knowledge of the grape growing and vineyards of Bordeaux. We had three tasting and visited two Chateaux’s. As it was harvest time we got to pick and taste a couple of different grapes. This was a highlight for me.

We had a great experience - we are normally not fans of organized group tours, but this was one I would recommend. We had a small group of six (including my husband and I) - fortunately, it was a good group. Nice air conditioned vehicle (given it was very hot out). Our host Hugo was super knowledgeable, fun and engaging. We explored three great wineries and had enough time in the village of Saint-Emilion to explore on our own, which is what we wanted.

Excellent Médoc Wine Tour – Highly Recommended

We had a very enjoyable wine tour in the Médoc. Our guide was excellent—friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the region and its wines. He spoke very good English and explained everything clearly, including the history of the Médoc, the different appellations, the vineyards and the wines we tasted. I particularly appreciated the relevant facts and insights he shared, which made the tour both interesting and informative without being overwhelming. The winery visits and tastings were very well organised, and the whole experience gave us a much better understanding and appreciation of Médoc wines. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Bordeaux region and wanting to learn more about Médoc wines.

Informative, interesting and fun tasting

We booked with less than 24h notice when we found the tasting and went with it for the good reviews. We're very glad we did! As it turned out, we were the only booking for that session so had a private 90 minute tasting! Cecilia was welcoming, friendly, and very informative. We had our 16 month old son sleeping in a buggy for the tasting and he was accommodated in the tasting room. We went through the tasting, trying several wines along with snacks to complement them. We learnt about the region, grape varieties, growing conditions, maturation and the process of manufacture. We’ve had an interest in wine for years since completing wine tastings on our honeymoon, and it was great to expand on our knowledge and palette. When we return to the area we will definitely come back for the full vineyard tour! Thoroughly enjoyed and very much recommended.

A day in wine country

This is a great tour if you have a full day to explore the Bordeaux wine region. We visited both the Saint Emilion and the Medoc region. An added bonus was a free tasting 2 white sparkling wines and a Rose before we got to our first Chateaux. In total we tasted 13 wines. Our lunch in the middle of the Vinyard under trees was delicious. Our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of good information about the region.
