It was a sunny day but really cold and windy when we went to the Giants Causeway (April 2026). Fortunately we brought layers for this trip. Wind breaker was a life saver while visiting Giants Causeway. We liked how the long day trip was broken up with interesting stops along the way. There were some stops that were treats for Game of Thrones fans and enjoyable for everyone. Tour guide and driver Patrick was really good entertaining us with history, factoids, and Irish humor. Afternoon Giant's Causeway Half Day Tour from Belfast

Brilliant excursion

This excursion was absolutely brilliant! Our driver, Gary, picked us up from outside the Europa Hotel and during the journey to the Giant’s Causeway, he gave us loads of fascinating information about Ireland. We went past the Dark Hedges (made famous by GoT) and through the town of Bushmills (famous for the whiskey). The causeway itself is incredible, and I’m so pleased we got to see it. Gary is such a knowledgeable person, and made the hour or so’s journey pass much quicker with the information he gave us and the music he shared. I would highly recommend this excursion, and especially our driver. We left and returned promptly and had time for a pint at The Nook before we left the Giant’s Causeway. Thanks so much for a great afternoon!

A bit expensive but worth it if you are short on time

We only had half a day in the city of Florence since we booked a day trip to Sienna Sangimignano and Pisa. Given the short time we have, this golf cart tour really brought you to most visited places in Florence. However, the entire tour was about 2 hours and that’s the deluxe tour. A traditional tour will only last about 1 hour. So naturally the driver who picks you up from your hotel is always in a rush. Each stop is about 5-10 min max. If you ok with that, the trip is for you. But if you want to explore each location in depth, this is not the tour for you.
