A great drive with Jimmy from Belfast and drive along the beautiful Antrim Coast Road, with a stop by Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge for stunning coastal views and pictures! Next to the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we had plenty of time to walk down and ride the bus back up to meet back up with the bus. On the drive back we passed by the Dark Hedges, famous for its picturesque tree-lined avenue. our driver Jimmy was great! Lots of details and funny facts all along the way.

Giants Causeway is a beautiful site and well worth the journey to the Irish coastline. I wish we'd had more time to explore.

Carl from Paddywagon tours took us from Belfast to Giants Causeway with a stop at Portaneevy view point to see the Carrick-a-Rede bridge. He shared interesting facts and local folklore as he drove us to see the lovely sights.

Brought my mum for an "extreme day trip" to Belfast and we booked this tour. She hasn't been away in a while so we had high hopes for our trip and I have wanted to see the Giant's Causeway for years. This trip massively exceeded my expectations, thanks to our driver and tour guide Gary. What a fantastic human being, he filled the afternoon with Irish history, music, jokes and his knowledge. Highly recommend the tour to everyone, my mum reports "having the best day in ages" as we wait in the airport for our flight back.

Excellent tour and our tour guide was awesome. Because it was a shortened tour, time was limited but we didn’t want another 8 plus hour day so this worked for us.
Britt_L, Jul 2026
The tour guide Gary was excellent as a tour guide and also has banter at the same time.
I have been couple of times to the causeway. My first time with Paddyswaggon.
The first time for my friend Joanne
Highly re commend it to anyone.

The driver was good and very knowledgeable and was good controlling the annoying chatterboxes who talked through his information slots.
The causeway itself was rushed .

The tour operator would repeatedly start yelling into the mic to demand absolute silence while he gave intermittent information. He then grew so frustrated with people having quiet conversations while he did his voiceover, which was broadcasted sufficiently loud, that he reprimanded the entire bus and threatened to stop sharing any information. It was like a teacher reprimanding a class, and the mood became very awkward.
Besides that, the tour was just overall quite rushed. Our first stop was 10 minutes, then the cosway itself was a little over an hour, with 35m of that being walking time (or waiting/paying for the shuttle). FYI, and as others have noted, we returned around 5:40. Totally appreciate it's a condensed afternoon trip, but if some of the extraneous stops were cut, and we had taken the full 5 hours, the pacing would have been much better.

We did the half day giants causeway and it was great.. plenty time to even have a pint at the end of our hour there

Really good afternoon. Our driver from Paddywagon was called Michael, he was so funny and entertaining the whole way and he showed us the sights. The Giants Causeway was spectacular and really interesting to see. Highly recommend this trip!

Excellent, informative guide. Comfortable, clean bus. Beautiful scenery. Personally, I found the Giant's Causeway itself disappointing.

Great trip even in the rain. Tour guide (Rory) was excellent and gave us all the info we needed and more.

Good communication from the coach driver a jolly funny chap.
Quite a bit of walking involved I was aware but others seemed not so. Can be slippery under foot

interesting tour if you have limited time. Interesting scenery enroute, important site to visit. Bags of info. Our dri er was excellent. Clear instructions for timing. Great interaction the odd joke.
" A bit of the Irish" as you would expect. Good Irish music. All in all a good afternoon. Good value for the price.

Brilliant trip, with wonderful views along the way and a stop at the view point across to the rope bridge. The Causeway itself is magical. We had about an hour actually on the rocks, which was plenty of time to take pictures and explore. We had the most incredible weather, which definitely helped, but I am sure it would be wonderful rain or shine. Gary, our guide, gave us all fascinating insight into Northern Ireland and the Causeway, and really looked after us. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again myself, a brilliant afternoon out!

The driver was fantastic! Very experienced, friendly, and professional. He knew a lot about Irish culture and history and shared many interesting facts throughout the journey. He made the experience enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable afternoon tour to the Giants Causeway. Convenient start point alongside the Europa Hotel. Confortable coach with wi fi.
Gary our driver was very knowledgeable and gave us a fun commentary about history, local sights along the way. Told us what to do and what not to do at the Giants Causeway which saved us £18 each.
Had an hour at the site and then drove us back on time by City Hall.
Definitely recommend the tour.

This tour was fun, and our tour guide was great. The only disappointing part was having to rush back before all the protesting began in the streets of Belfast.

Tbh.. if this is your first experience, you will have nothing to compare it with.
I know it was a 5 hour trip ...but we travelled on the motorway for at least over half of the journey. Previously on an another operator tour bus we traveled down the Antrim coast which was scenic and so beautiful.
On this trip we spent 90 minutes at the the causeway. Not enough time to walk down to shore, toilet stop and back up the hill .it was good there was a bus to reduce time spent walking. It all felt very rushed. However I must commend our driver Rory who was very pleasant . We arrived back in Belfast just after 5.30 pm . Overall ...This experience could of been better as visiting the causeway is one of the great attractions . Also it wasn't cheap .

Knowledgeable, polite and professional driver and great experience at a beautiful unesco heritage site.

My tour guide was very informative! Showed me both sides and was extremely nice. Tour did last longer than expected so dont plan something right after! Mine was 2 hours
Carol_S, Jun 2026
It was very well done with enough time at the Giants Causeway and a good commentary. The driver was informative and witty.
Alan_F, Jun 2026
Excellent Gary our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and made outing very enjoyable for all.
Dennis_B, Jun 2026
The tour is great and does stop for a picture at the suspended bridge and there is plenty of time at the Causeway. Should be noted that we only drive by the hedges. Very punctual and great information.
MIKE_H, Jun 2026
We had an excellent experience The driver Gary was brilliant very informative and knowledgeable... Would highly recommend
Ruth_G, Jun 2026
Excellent tour guide.. Who explained all the history clearly in a nutshell, with added humour and character.
Need to know... The stones can be tricky underfoot if the weather is bad. And because of tight schedule, would really advise to use the bus shuttle up and down.
gina_g, May 2026
