Great tour. Beautiful scenery. Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food at the lunch stop was wonderful. But walk carefully at Giants Causeway!

We were 2 mins late for the bus and it left. Be on time. We had to pay a 30 pound cab fare to catch up to the group

It's a long day and a lot of driving. The Giant's Causeway and castles are amazing and worth seeing.

Great experience! The Causeway is a natural phenomenon not to be missed!
Our guide, Stuart was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Only recommendation would be to add the distillery instead if stopping at the2nd castle which
was just a ruin rhat no one went into.

This full day tour was amazing and left us speechless. Troy is funny and personable and shared info as he drove us to the impressively restored Carrickfergus Castle and then the stunning cliffside Dunluce castle. A lunch stop allowed us to walk through the Dark Hedges of Game of Thrones fame before Troy took us to the main attraction- Giants Causeway. There are several hikes (or a bus) you can take to reach the causeway. We opted to take the red hike up the mountain which then led to stairs and a trail down to the shore and the causeway. The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking and just when we thought it could not get any better, we reached the causeway at the shore. We were literally speechless, as our brains couldn’t fathom the 40,000 plus basalt hexagonal columns. We climbed out onto them and watched the powerful waves wash in. The more moderate walk back up the blue hike was spent in some silent reflection. On the drive back to Belfast, Troy mostly played music - nice move, Troy! This was an awesome tour - I would not miss the chance to see Giants Causeway!

So many great things to see, great details about each place of interest.
Well paced, plenty of stops, places for food and free time.
Giants causeway is as magnificent as you imagine.
All in all really great value for money and a brilliant experience.

The organisers need to be clearer about the pickup point & time & specify it the day before rather than on the morning of. More details such as the colour of the bus, location point such as names of shops, hotel, etc, would help.

Thank you for your feedback. We always clearly state the meeting point, using Café Nero as a reference, and our drivers are easily identifiable in Red CitySightseeing uniforms. We also tried calling several times but were unable to reach you. Out of the full tour group, 100 other passengers were able to find the meeting point and depart on time.

It was a long tour but boy, it did not disappoint! So many spots to see such as Carrickfergus Castle, Portaneevey, and Dunluce Castle. We appreciated the efforts to preserve these sites and share them with visitors from around the globe. Dark Hedges was moody as one would expect. The trees were stupendous! Giants Causeway was breathtaking! Prepare to walk or pay 50 pence for a one way tram bus that takes you all the way from the Visitor’s Center to the site. But once you’re there, spend as much time looking at the rock formations. An unforgettable experience for nature lovers!

We had a wonderful time back in October on this tour and highly recommend!
Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and funny. We loved his spirit and energy to walk down to the causeway instead of taking the bus. What made it most impressive is he told us his age, and that he pushes himself to take the walk w his groups whenever he does this tour. I’m embarrassed to say I forgot his name (?Gavin?) since it’s been some time since October (writing this 1/2026), but should we all have such energy and spirit!
Our only dislike was the dark hedges, and wish there was an alternative as some tours give on the spot. We are not fans of the show and couldn’t care less about a bunch of trees many of which have died anyway. But that’s really on us bc we booked the tour knowing about the tree stop, so won’t take stars away for our own choices ;)

Finding the coach was really easy and the guide was very helpful throughout the day. Providing facts about all the places we seen. Really went into depth about cafe food menus :) . The experience was fantastic - what a beautiful area of the world and can see why it’s unique especially with the game of thrones filming. The giant causeway was the highlight and I think we had enough time seeing each. Shame they can’t add the whisky distrillry to this tour but it is a long day.

This was definitely one of the best ways to see the northeastern coast of Ireland! We saw so much of the coastline, and we were extremely lucky the sun was shining so we could see Scotland!
Our guide Stuart was absolutely exceptional, I'm only sorry I didn't get much of a chance to thank him once we were finished as we had to get somewhere else soon! We were so thrilled with his hilarious commentary and knowledge of the area, as well as the tips and tricks for navigating the tour and other parts of Ireland.

The day was wonderful and our guide and driver Troy was so funny and friendly he made the day even more special.
I definitely would recommend Galway Tours for a trip to the Giants Causeway. The ride was gorgeous and hearing stories from Troy made the experience even better. My sister and I had a wonderful day and lunch was very good of an Irish stew. We even got to stop at the Bushmills Distillery for a taste of whiskey, which was very good. Monday’s the castle is closed so we got to stop at Bushmills as a bonus which was nice of Troy.
So glad tours in Ireland are really god value for your money. If I’m lucky enough to come back to Ireland with a friend I would definitely do this tour again it was that good.

He should have talked about Belfast Lough as we went by.He just about fitted that in as we approached Carrickfergus.

This tour was fabulous simply based on there itinerary, but it was elevated significantly by Troy, our personal tour guide. His knowledge, willingness to go the extra mile, friendliness, interactions were extremely professional and friendly. We remained engaged throughout the entire tour regarding our 5-6 month vacation through Europe and Asia. He shared many personal and professional experiences, anecdotes, wit and humor with us all. Very nice tour. Trey was very entertaining. This is my original trip so I went but I had booked the game of thrones trip after talking to a rep and that bus never showed up. So I was out the 90+ pounds. Very disappointing even after I booked 2 trips. I will never use Viator again!
