Well packaged. Paul with Odyssey Tours was a fun guide.. loved all his stories and his sense of humor; on top of that he is an awesome driver navigating us through small villages and windy roads. Loved the whole day. Not too long and just enough time at each stop and visit. Highly recommend .. book it.

This was a great tour with a great tour guide (Paddy!)! Our group of 6 ladies loved the size of the tour (medium sized, maybe about 25 people, much smaller/more mobile than the large tour buses), the stops (settlement on the coast, Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills, Dark Hedges), and our tour guide. The scenery throughout the drive was absolutely stunning. The weather was also great but of course that was just a happy accident. Paddy (tour guide) shared many interesting facts and stories with us throughout the drive - Irish history. Irish language, Irish mythology, etc. Recommendations for future tour goers include to be prepared to pack or buy a lunch at the first stop, as there is no official lunch stop, and sit on the right side of the bus so you can see the beautiful coastline as you drive north. We wish we could have spent more time at Bushmills (no time for the tour, just tasting & the gift shop if you don't dilly dally) and the Giant's Causeway (15 min walk to/from the parking lot & causeway) but the timing of these stops are very standard.

great tour - tour guide paul was knowledgeable and funny an asset to odyssey tours. we did the small causeway tour so not one of the huge coaches and this made a difference. we had enough time at each stop to experience and photograph.

Beautiful day visiting Northern Island. Highly recommend!

Paul is the most amazing tour guide

Hangma_L, May 2026
Paul is the most amazing tour guide we have ever met. What enchanting storytelling he does! He is so knowledgeable about history, geography, culture, and current affairs. The way he connected the past to the present took us back to times we never got to live through or witness, yet we deeply felt every moment as he described them. Even my boys (12 and 14), who are usually not good listeners, were completely intrigued and listened attentively throughout. We have now returned from Northern Ireland, but the beautiful feelings and love for this place that he filled us with will definitely stay with us forever. Thank you, Paul. Stay happy and healthy. Excellent Tour!

Stephen is an absolute delight as a tour guide, and he kept us engaged with stories about Belfast's history as well as information about the sites we visited. Great tour, excellent guide and a wonderful way to spend a day taking in the sites.

Lucie_R, May 2026
Our Driver Stephen did a terrific job of narrating the important topics of what we would be seeing. His friendly and humorous personality really made our day. My only disappointment I would say is to ask you to stop advertising the Rope Bridge in this tour since it’s obviously not possible to take the tour buses in there any longer and this is misleading to the customer. Overall our tour was a wonderful experience. Lucie and Lola from YYC

Response from Host, May 2026

Hello Lucie Thank you for your feed back Nice to hear you enjoyed your tour with us Sorry you found the information confusing We do not advertise crossing the rope bridge We do advertise that we stop at Portaneevy view point with its stunning views of Carrick a Rede rope bridge and Rathlin island Regards

Great day trip out of Belfast

kim919lehmann, May 2026
Our driver was excellent. We only had 1 1/2 hours at the Giant's Causeway. We would have preferred to have more time there and skip the Bushmill Distillery visit. Overall, it was very much worth the price and time. It would be helpful to advise that there is no lunch stop and you should bring something unless you want to buy something at a small store en route. Our time was shifted earlier given the road closures for the Belfast Marathon. That was great in that we were ahead of many other vans and buses. The views of the coast were lovely.

Great tour with entertaining drivers

William_G, Apr 2026
Great overall experience. Driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Full day of sites with ample time to see the attractions.

Wonderful day trip -highly recommended 5*

Neil_S, Apr 2026
Highly enjoyable day out with a well thought out itinerary and the comfort of a smaller mini coach , the experience was made even more memorable by the guidance from our driver Paul who educated and entertained us in equal measure! 5* highly recommended when in Belfast

Worth every penny

georgina_b, Apr 2026
Our guide Stephen was excellent, full of really good history and knowledge and being born and bred in area. The minibus was ideal and infact what drew me to this particular tour. I would highly recommend Odyssey for anybody wanting to do this beautiful coast line road trip.

The Best Of Northern Ireland

Greg_D, Mar 2026
Great job today from Stephen, our driver and tour guide, who imparted lots of knowledge along the way and took us to Giants Causeway (a gem), Bushmills Distillery, The Dark Hedges from Game Of Thrones, and the Carrick-A-Rede Bridge overlook along with several other vistas that'll make you smile while shaking your head over what you're seeing. A great way to get a good look at this part of NI.

Wonderful!

Kendra_C, Mar 2026
This is a fun, full day tour. The stops were perfect and we had enough time at each one for pictures and exploring. The Tour bus driver was wonderful and gave a lot of information about places along the route as well as for the places we stopped.

Lovely day trip,...

Philip_C, Feb 2026
Lovely day trip, Beautiful scenery and lucky with the weather. Couple of hours shorter than some other companies but 7.5 hours is about right. Driver was very knowledgeable.

Highly recommend

Sarah_N, Feb 2026
This was a fantastic tour. My friend and I really enjoyed our day. Despite it being very rainy and windy this was our favourite day in Belfast. Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting history and popular culture information. The itinerary was very well planned yet relaxed.

Great day out in a smaller well maintained coach

Nicola_R, Jan 2026
Great day out, even though the weather didn’t enable us to use the coastal route, driver was very accommodating and enabled extra time at Giants Causeway & Bushmills Distillery, which meant the day felt unrushed and able to utilise additional time. Driver was very informative & learnt loads about the area and sights. Pleased had opted for a smaller coach, well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely Fantastic day out

Dean_R, Jan 2026
Great guide, very knowledgeable!..smaller coach, wasn't the cheapest option but I'm so glad I chose this company!👍👍👍

Top tour guide - Great tour.

Naval_B, Dec 2025
My buddy and I turned up after a very heavy night of drinking, and Paul was on top form. Great banter and lighthearted jokes all around with everyone on the coach. He really knew how to engage us, and was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Northern Ireland. The entire tour was lovely, but it was really made 10/10 by Paul. Thanks for a crackin' time.

Very good knowledgeable...

Anirban_C, Dec 2025
Very good knowledgeable driver who took us on the tour. The best thing is even though there was only 3 of us in the tour the tour was not cancelled which I have seen many reputed company do when no of travellers are very less. This last minute cancellations leave us in a very bad position. So kudos that trip was not cancelled. The driver was very knowledgeable and gave us a good commentry throughout the tour. Highly recommend.

An outstanding day of visiting the coast of Northern Ireland.

Linda_S, Nov 2025
What a lovely day with our guide driving us up the coast to the Giant's Causeway. He gave us a great background of history of his country and the area. He was helpful and kind and prompt!

A tour that gives you a genuine slice of Northern Ireland

peteryates, Nov 2025
This was a 7.5 hour tour in Northern Ireland in the winter time, so it was cold, windy, sometimes wet and occasionally a bit wild. Wrap up warm with plenty of layers if you want to enjoy this tour at this time of year! However, with Stephen our driver and guide we saw the very best of the local scenery in a small group. Being a local he was very knowledgeable and managed to get us to places ahead of the competition allowing us to enjoy each location with fewer crowds. His commentary also steered a careful course between the partisan groups in this troubled island. The highlight obviously is the Giants Causeway, and perhaps the most disappointing thing is the Dark Hedges because the trees are past their best and it will be another hundred years before the replacements are of a similar stature. In between we loved the small fishing village of Carnlough. There is nothing special there, just a small harbour and a 7-11 store but you feel you are seeing the real Northern Ireland. In between a stop at Bushmills Distillery (no time for a tour but time to sample if you wish), and a brief photo stop at Dunluce Castle, plus a scenic coastal drive as the waves crashed against the shore.

Stephen was our guide and...

Heather_D, Nov 2025
Stephen was our guide and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with good stories throughout. The layout of the tour was very well done (whiskey stop after the slippery causeway stones!) and although none of us were GOT fans there was still plenty to see on the additional stops.

Highly recommended day trip

Pam_M, Nov 2025
Absolutely fantastic trip. Driver Paul was 10/10: he was considerate, knowledgeable, witty. At first stop opportunity to buy hot food, drinks and wide selection of lunch items. Great value for money.

Coastal views and tall tales

Ian_H, Oct 2025
A grest tour with humourous tales from the knowledgeable driver Paul. Keep your phone/camera ready to take pictures of the superb views. Loved the whole day

Great Trip

Thomasina_F, Oct 2025
Well paced. Guide was very friendly and helpful giving clear instructions at each stop. He had interesting and amusing information all along the trip. Not a large group which was better than tours with 60 or so people.
