Our guide Stephen was excellent, full of really good history and knowledge and being born and bred in area. The minibus was ideal and infact what drew me to this particular tour. I would highly recommend Odyssey for anybody wanting to do this beautiful coast line road trip.

Great overall experience. Driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Full day of sites with ample time to see the attractions.

Highly enjoyable day out with a well thought out itinerary and the comfort of a smaller mini coach , the experience was made even more memorable by the guidance from our driver Paul who educated and entertained us in equal measure!
5* highly recommended when in Belfast

Great job today from Stephen, our driver and tour guide, who imparted lots of knowledge along the way and took us to Giants Causeway (a gem), Bushmills Distillery, The Dark Hedges from Game Of Thrones, and the Carrick-A-Rede Bridge overlook along with several other vistas that'll make you smile while shaking your head over what you're seeing. A great way to get a good look at this part of NI.

This is a fun, full day tour. The stops were perfect and we had enough time at each one for pictures and exploring. The Tour bus driver was wonderful and gave a lot of information about places along the route as well as for the places we stopped.

Lovely day trip, Beautiful scenery and lucky with the weather. Couple of hours shorter than some other companies but 7.5 hours is about right. Driver was very knowledgeable.

This was a fantastic tour. My friend and I really enjoyed our day. Despite it being very rainy and windy this was our favourite day in Belfast. Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting history and popular culture information. The itinerary was very well planned yet relaxed.

Great day out, even though the weather didn’t enable us to use the coastal route, driver was very accommodating and enabled extra time at Giants Causeway & Bushmills Distillery, which meant the day felt unrushed and able to utilise additional time.
Driver was very informative & learnt loads about the area and sights.
Pleased had opted for a smaller coach, well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Great guide, very knowledgeable!..smaller coach, wasn't the cheapest option but I'm so glad I chose this company!👍👍👍

My buddy and I turned up after a very heavy night of drinking, and Paul was on top form. Great banter and lighthearted jokes all around with everyone on the coach. He really knew how to engage us, and was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Northern Ireland. The entire tour was lovely, but it was really made 10/10 by Paul. Thanks for a crackin' time.

Very good knowledgeable driver who took us on the tour. The best thing is even though there was only 3 of us in the tour the tour was not cancelled which I have seen many reputed company do when no of travellers are very less. This last minute cancellations leave us in a very bad position. So kudos that trip was not cancelled. The driver was very knowledgeable and gave us a good commentry throughout the tour. Highly recommend.

What a lovely day with our guide driving us up the coast to the Giant's Causeway. He gave us a great background of history of his country and the area. He was helpful and kind and prompt!

This was a 7.5 hour tour in Northern Ireland in the winter time, so it was cold, windy, sometimes wet and occasionally a bit wild. Wrap up warm with plenty of layers if you want to enjoy this tour at this time of year! However, with Stephen our driver and guide we saw the very best of the local scenery in a small group. Being a local he was very knowledgeable and managed to get us to places ahead of the competition allowing us to enjoy each location with fewer crowds. His commentary also steered a careful course between the partisan groups in this troubled island. The highlight obviously is the Giants Causeway, and perhaps the most disappointing thing is the Dark Hedges because the trees are past their best and it will be another hundred years before the replacements are of a similar stature. In between we loved the small fishing village of Carnlough. There is nothing special there, just a small harbour and a 7-11 store but you feel you are seeing the real Northern Ireland. In between a stop at Bushmills Distillery (no time for a tour but time to sample if you wish), and a brief photo stop at Dunluce Castle, plus a scenic coastal drive as the waves crashed against the shore.

Stephen was our guide and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with good stories throughout. The layout of the tour was very well done (whiskey stop after the slippery causeway stones!) and although none of us were GOT fans there was still plenty to see on the additional stops.

Absolutely fantastic trip.
Driver Paul was 10/10: he was considerate, knowledgeable, witty.
At first stop opportunity to buy hot food, drinks and wide selection of lunch items.
Great value for money.

A grest tour with humourous tales from the knowledgeable driver Paul. Keep your phone/camera ready to take pictures of the superb views. Loved the whole day
Thomasina_F, Oct 2025
Well paced. Guide was very friendly and helpful giving clear instructions at each stop.
He had interesting and amusing information all along the trip. Not a large group which was better than tours with 60 or so people.

Great experience and Steve was a fantastic guide. Even though it was a very windy day. We had an amazing day
Caitlynn_V, Sep 2025
Such a lovely tour from a very knowledgeable tour guide. A fun environment on the bus with great stops along the way to stretch your legs!

This was a really good day out. Patrick our driver and guide was lovely - he was excellent at ensuring everyone got back on the bus to keep the day running to schedule as well as being a very good driver whilst giving just the right amount of information at the right time.
We stopped several times for the comfort breaks and we were told in advance when each one would be. Patrick also made sure to tell us where was a good place to buy lunch or coffee and the best ways to see each sight.
The smaller bus made it feel more personal and also meant me could take a quicker route which meant we arrived ahead of the bigger tour buses (it also meant shorter queues when we did stop for the loo!)
Nicholas_C, Sep 2025
Our driver, Patrick, was excellent, keeping us entertained with a steady flow of historical, geographical, cultural and linguistic snippets of information, all delivered with a dose of good humour. The tour itself, in addition to the advertised highlights, took in some beautiful stretches of countryside and coast. My only small complaint would be the time allowed to visit the Giants’ Causeway. There was a minibus to take people with reduced mobility from the Visitor Centre down to the Causeway, but by the time you factor in the frequency of the bus, the waiting/queuing time and the length of the journey itself, plus the number of potential passengers, in our case we were left with a window of about 15 minutes out of an hour and a half stop to visit this amazing landscape, which, frankly, is not enough. Similarly, the distance from the car park at the Dark Hedges to the actual site is more than a 5-minute walk for someone of reduced mobility and, in fact, closer to 15 minutes which doesn’t leave a lot of time out of a 35-minute visit. Patrick told us at the end that we had all been so punctual that he had saved 15 minutes overall. Maybe some of this time could be allocated to making the visit to these two attractions a bit longer to make allowance for people with reduced mobility.

Excellent. This tour is in Mylie’s wheelhouse. Great orator and well versed in this field. She kept groups attention and exhibited energy and emotion. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Margaret_C, Aug 2025
A top tip we read from someone else was to take your own lunch as no set lunch stop and the only shop available is a Spar. If your pick up is on Great Victoria Street then I can highly recommend the Sandwich Station for their baguettes.
Steven was an excellent guide, full of info and fun with it.
We were disappointed that we couldn’t walk the rope bridge and that this isn’t actually part of the tour now apart from a photo opportunity from above the bridge. Also the whiskey tasting at the Bushmills distillery isn’t free as we had expected it to be.
Well worth the money still to see more of the island without being stuck behind the wheel.
Julia_C, Aug 2025
Awesome experience, great value, Paul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a slightly more personal but less “guided” tour where you have time to explore on your own.
Carl_L, Aug 2025
This tour is in a smaller bus and is much more flexible in getting to locations when the larger coaches aren't there. It meant that wherever we were, there generally weren't large crowds, with the exception of The Giants Causeway, which always has crowds. Staden, our driver and guide, was extremely knowledgeable both about the history and the sights, but also about the schedules of the other tour groups, enabling us to have a better experience than others.
David_K, Aug 2025
One of the best group tours I have ever done. The sights were spectacular, the times at the various stops was generous, our guile was knowledgeable, friendly and funny and the small bus was comfortable.
Colleen_R, Aug 2025
We were so glad we added this day trip from Belfast before we departed Northern Ireland. What a phenomenal day trip. Paul's driving, organization and commentary were fantastic. Being on the small bus gave an intimate experience and the ability to enjoy the scenery without the stress of driving. Those roads are narrow and twisty. 7.5 hours was the perfect amount of time to be able to get back to Belfast and grab the train to Dublin in the evening. The Bushmills and Game of Thrones hedges were a great bonus!! high recommend this itinerary.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you Colleen. Paul is a great driver and guide. I will pass this on to him. Glad you enjoyed everything about your tour. Thanks for your booking.
Cherie_M, Jul 2025
Excellent tour, well paced and had many interesting stops. The guide was great, very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Wes_M, Jul 2025
This trip was well done with Paddy as our guide. It was a smaller bus than most and a managable size group. We stayed ahead of most other busses that gave us good access.
The stops were adequate time and we got back sooner than large busses. Highly recommend
Elaine_G, Jul 2025
Excellent day out. Steven the driver was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The tour was perfect and we visited all the sights mentioned. He even managed to order the sunshine for us too ! 10/10 for experience and value for money and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Steven
