This tour was fantastic, and Jessica, our guide and driver, was exceptional. She was punctual, professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She expertly guided us to a stunning spot where we could capture breathtaking photographs of the wall. This was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

We had an Excellent experience of the Mutianyu Great Wall with our guide Jun! He gave us a very comprehensive and informative history lesson on the Great Wall! He was also very sociable and welcoming to us throughout the whole tour! Will definitely recommend him to any one who wants to have a once in a lifetime experience seeing this Amazing piece of History!

We had an amazing trip with Jenny! She was so informative and knew the answer to all of our questions. She gave us lots of great tips and gave us information about history, the actual buildings themselves, and their significance. We are so glad we scheduled a tour with her!

We did a two-day private tour in Beijing and visited the Great Wall, the Hutongs, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Overall, this was absolutely worth the money, especially if you have limited time. With only two full days, there is simply no way we could have seen all of this on our own. Distances in Beijing are significant, and the logistics are more complex than they appear. Having a private car, a dedicated driver, and an English-speaking guide made a huge difference. It allowed us to move efficiently between sites and focus on the experience rather than on planning and transportation. We also really appreciated how well the tour was structured. The itinerary included five major highlights, which was exactly the right amount. It would have been easy to try to squeeze in more locations, but that would have made the experience rushed and superficial. Instead, we had enough time at each site to actually understand and enjoy it. Both days were full (around 9–10 hours), but well-paced and never overwhelming. A special mention for our guide, Lily. She was very knowledgeable and shared not only historical context but also insights into daily life in China, which made the experience much richer. What we particularly appreciated was how natural and easy she was to be around. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely focused on making the experience work for us, without ever feeling scripted or overly formal. It made a big difference in how comfortable and engaging the tour felt. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour. It is an excellent way to experience Beijing efficiently and in depth, especially if your time is limited.

My 10 yo daughter and I really enjoyed our trip to the Forbidden City today. The tour was very well organised by Viator as always. We’d like to give a special shout out to our guide Cici and her colleague. Cici was full of knowledge of the Palace - her communication was both informative and fun. It was evident that she’s deeply passionate about the place, while tentatively creating a wonderful and smooth experience for the group. You made our day - thank you! My daughter has become a fan :)

Sofia was our tour guide. She was excited to show us around the Forbidden City and patient in responding to questions. Once past the security checks, it took about 10 minutes for Sofia to collect everyone's tickets and rejoin the group. Once inside the complex, she explained the details in the architecture, made sure we stuck together as a group, and gave me enough time to click pictures and catch up with the rest of the group. The group entered through the East gate and I believe I exited on the North side, which opened up to Jingshan Park. I recommend this tour!

The best tour to see the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace! Sally was so kind with us, letting us walk at our pace and enjoy our time. And she knows where the best spots for photos are! She also shared so many insightful tips and information, we learned a lot about the history of China. The dumpling restaurant was delicious too! And our driver was at our meeting spot on time, his car is super clean and he had water and a charging cable ready for us. Our experience was hassle free, our reservations for the Forbidden City and tickets to the temples and palaces were all handled for us. No need to rush and catch buses or subway. This really made for a special day in Beijing. Great for first timers!

We had such a great time and experience with our tour guide Christine. She was super sweet, attentive, and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. She took us to the Panda House and the Great Wall of China, and made both experiences even more special with her knowledge and friendly vibe. She was always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. Honestly felt like we were exploring with a friend. Highly recommend her if you’re planning a trip
