Fantastic all-day Beijing highlights tour! Bruce was a kind, down-to-earth guide who made the day smooth and enjoyable. He gave just the right amount of history and context at Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall of China. The jade shop stop and tea tasting were nice additions without feeling pushy. Overall, a well-run, informative tour. Highly recommend Bruce!

Kathy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the facts and history about Tianamin Square and the Forbidden City. Her English is excellent and she really added a lot of value regarding historical context and significance with all parts of the buildings and structures. I asked many questions about the tour and Beijing in general and she answered them perfectly. I am a history buff and like to understand the context and significance of the tour. I highly recommend this package to get the most out of the sights. There is a rich history of these places and I would have missed a lot of meaning without her descriptions and input. The price is very reasonable for what you receive.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour and our guide. Our guides name was Katherine and she was wonderful. She speaks excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the two days. we started by going to the Great Wall and she was able to quickly navigate through the crowds and get us through security very quickly. She takes great pictures and was able to explain all of the history very easily about the Great Wall. After we went to the Great Wall, we stopped and had an amazing lunch with local food that was terrific. Once we finished at the Great Wall, we went to the summer palace and that was fantastic as well. Amazing history and absolutely beautiful. Katherine did a great job of showing us around all of the key point in beautiful sites. Day two started at Teman Square and the forbidden city and we were blown away. Do not miss either location as it’s very interesting and amazing to see in person. We then did a rickshaw ride through an old neighborhood in Beijing and we were surprised at how cool that was as well. Once the rickshaw ride was over, we moved on to lunch and ate at one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. The name of the restaurant is Beijing roasted duck and it’s a must do you have to try the Peking duck and the garlic prawns over rice noodles. We then went to the temple of heaven and finished up at an acrobatic show that was unbelievably cool. Our drivers name was Su and he did an excellent job! This her is a no-brainer. Spend the money and get the private guide and you will not regret it my son and I both highly recommend Katherine and Su.
