Fun and perfect day at The Great Wall

Wendy was an amazing tour guide for my Great Wall of China experience at Mutianyu today! She was so nice, friendly, and punctual, making sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. The weather was absolutely perfect, with a beautiful blue sky and not a single cloud in sight! The views were breathtaking, and seeing the Great Wall surrounded by the mountains was truly unforgettable. I was able to climb all the way to Tower 1, which was a little challenging at times, but so worth it! Wendy did a wonderful job making sure the entire group stayed together so everyone could enjoy the experience. One of the highlights was definitely the toboggan slide back down the mountain! It was honestly SO much fun and ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire day. We also got to enjoy a complimentary tea house activity, which was a lovely bonus. Overall, this was such a fun and memorable experience! Between the beautiful weather, incredible views, exciting toboggan ride, complimentary tea house activity, and Wendy’s kindness and professionalism, I couldn’t have asked for a better day at the Great Wall of China. I would absolutely recommend Wendy to anyone planning to visit!

We had a great morning with Jack on our trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. He was right on time at our hotel, was a professional driver with a very comfortable car. When we arrived at Mutianyu, Jack provided us with VIP service all the way past the shuttle buses and to the gate for the cable car. After enjoying the spectacle of Mutiaynu Towers 14-18 we met Jack for our drive back to Beijing, stopping for tea on the way back.

The Forbidden City is huge and full of history and artifacts. You need a guide like Ranee to lead you through everything, like the fastest way to get in, to learn about the different dynasties that built and maintained the City, and the many facts and back stories. I toured with my wife, 15 year old son and 81 year old mom with tour guide manna. It was a great tour through Beijing. We saw all the sights. Manna was really accommodating for the entire group catering to all our requests. We were driven around in new and clean vehicles with courteous driver. Manna was knowledgeable with all the history delivered in fluent English. The lunches were well planned and food was good. This is a must do private tour.

The tour was amazing. We went to a section of the wall that was fully accessible to my mum who finds it had to walk far. May our tour guide was amazing. She was friendly full of knowledge and super accomodating for me and my mum. The driver Mr Ma was great and safe. That is a lot to say for Beijing. We got lots of information on the way historical and local knowledge. Lunch was Amazing and they catered for my Gluten free needs. We finished the day with a tea ceremony. I strongly recommend this company and tour.

Excellent tour of World Heritage Sites

Jenny from Catherine Lu Tours took us on a thorough private tour of the Forbidden City and Summer Palace. She spoke good English and knew everything. These are huge places and a bit exhausting actually but need to be done in a lifetime. The Summer Palace by a lake is very pleasant and might be worth a day by itself if you have the time.

Amazing hike on the Great Wall with no crowds

This was such an amazing experience. The view from the Wall was truly breathtaking and it was amazing to avoid the crowds that you can find at other sections. I would say you need to be in very good physical condition because it’s a challenging hike, with lots of up and down stairs and steep parts. But it’s all worth it. Thank you to our guide Jackie!

This was my first time visiting Beijing and the Great Wall, and I highly recommend this self guided tour if you’re looking for transportation to and from the Great Wall. Alvin was professional and picked me up promptly at my hotel at the time specified. He was knowledgeable and quick with where to go throughout my Great Wall tour. He even helped take pictures for me and waited while I ate lunch. The ride to and from was comfortable and straightforward.
