Itinerary

Your private evening tour begins with hotel pickup at 5:30pm, when you’ll board a personal vehicle destined for the illuminated attractions of the Chinese capital.

Your first stop is Hutong Street — an enclave famed for its winding alleys and restaurants — where you’ll be provided with a variety of culinary options. Select from spicy Sichuan food, the rich noodles supos typical of Shanxi cuisine, or lamb kebabs.

Sated and satisfied, you’ll begin a panoramic tour of Beijing’s illuminated attractions. Travel past the vast Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), admire the huge LED screens of the Place Mall, and head inside Olympic Green (Olympic Park), home to the Beijing National Stadium and other modern structures built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Conclude your tour with a visit to the tranquil Back Lakes (Hou Hai) before drop-off at your hotel at around 9:30pm.

Beijing at night-A must do!

This is a superb tour to see highlights of Beijing at night, with the charm of the lights. Our guide, Jay, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and he made the tour a 10/10 for us!! Chow, our driver, was an excellent driver and made the evening so comfortable and easy for us at every step of the way. I can’t say enough to recommend Jay as a guide, and the tour itself was a must do!!

Great Tour with Jay

We had a great time with Jay. He took us to a great restaurant and then made sure we saw Beijing after dark. The buildings in the CBD were amazing lit up at night. We highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed. Jay is very friendly and knowable.

Not Worth It

With all due respect with the tour guide, she's a nice lady. But it's really not worth of money! You'll start at rush hour time so expect traffic everywhere, also you only spend like 5 minutes to all location because everything has to be in hurry. I would suggest to just take a taxi and go on your own so you have more time to explore Beijing in a relax way.

Since your travel date is during the Government meeting, you can see how crazy the traffic is everywhere that night. We think no one want to stuck in traffic, so guide suggested the routine which avoid the traffic. Jay was a great guide. He even helped us get tickets for the Forbidden City and Beijing really looked different at night. It was drizzling lightly - enough to make the places we visited quieter and the hotos wonderful!

Anson was great, giving us a good history to Beijing and even his own personal memories of living in the Hutongs. His English was very, very good and he was full of answers to our questions. The tour gives a contrast of the very old with the very new and the reasons behind each of these. Anson did a great job of ordering local food Gluten Free and was very accommodating to our needs. A different tour of Beijing to the more traditional ones on offer.

Met at hotel by Alice and transported in comfortable modern car to sites. Unfortunately it was a rainy night and that put a damper on the tour. First stop Hutong and dinner. Alice was very knowledgeable about its history. Stopped into Hutong restaurant and had an enjoyable dinner. After dinner went touring to food market where there were many things to try. Went to Tiananmen Square and enjoyed the night lights and people. Then off to Olympic Park to see the Bird's Nest but it was not lite up so would pass on that. Then off to Hou Hai lake area and took in the bar scene and again raining and windy so less enjoyable but did some get pictures in. Our guide Alice was great, so sweet, considerate, and anxious to make a rainy night as pleasant as it could be. Alice shared her rain jacket and hat to keep wife dry. Overall a good night out.

I had a really enjoyable evening on this tour. My tour guide Evelyn was very knowledgeable about Beijing and the different neighbourhoods we went to. Seeing all the major sights eliminated in the evening was a great experience. One highlight was the dinner in a Hutong neighbourhood. One tip for future travellers, if you have the dinner and then go to Wangfujing Food Street afterwards, make sure you leave some room to be able to try the many delicacies on offer there.

Tolle Tour, ein absolutes Muss in Peking, die Stadt auch mal im Dunkeln zu sehen. Besonders beeindruckend fanden wir die Lichtershow im Olympiazentrum, lohnt sich mehr als tagsüber. Unser Guide war sehr kompetent, hatte gute Englischkentnisse und hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, uns so viel wie möglich zu zeigen. Kann man nur empfehlen!
