The ride was smooth, learned a lot and our tour guide Harrah (I am not sure if that's how you spell the name) but she was amazing! Very informative. This tour was a great way to see Mykonos!! At first I didn’t think we would have enough time to see and do all the things- I was mistaken. The amount of time spent in Mykonos was perfect. We had plenty of time for shopping, eating and even beach time. It’s quite the journey to get there which is stated - plan to return tired - I think our entire group slept on the ferry on the return trip. Georgia (Gogo) was a fantastic guide! She offered suggestions for where to eat and get desert and gelato.

Big van in Athens

we had booked a smaller vehicle but when I reiterated that we would bring 2 duffle bags, 2 big suitcases, 4 carryons and 2 walkers, I was advised that a van would be needed - for an additional charge of $40. The driver met us at the pier, having arranged with the police to park in front of the terminal. It was a large van, so large I asked him to use the mike to speak to us while driving. Probably could hold 18 passengers. He was courteous and patient, waiting for us to pass through immigration procedures and collect our luggage. Drove safely. Smaller vehicles are available if you have less luggage - the luggage area at the back of the van was quite full with ours. Good communication with Ancient Greece Tours all the time.

Great service, but Uber Taxi is cheaper in central Athens.

Our driver was great and the ride was as expected. However, we did not know that Uber works with the Taxis in Athens. This did not make sense for us since we were in central Athens and could literally get a Taxi in 1 minute and it would have been cheaper. This is a much better option for someone further away where Taxi service is not readily available or when you have several people and can't fit in a standard Taxi.

Easy, efficient transfer to the airport

We were on a cruise that ended in Athens. While the cruise ship offered transfers to the airport, we didn’t want to give up our luggage the night before or get up hours before necessary. The transfer through Viator was efficient and easy. Spiro was there to meet us at the cruise port at 6 am, and the whole process was effortless. Much appreciated.

Worked well but depends on what driver you get

We were meet exaction time by a lovely gentleman holding a printed sign with my name, unlike other drivers who use their phones that time out so you can’t see the name. Anyway, he placed all our luggage in a modern, clean van and drove us through the city to the airport. Proud of his city and knew lots of shortcuts due to traffic. We arrived in time with lots of more info on Athens.

Excellent Transfer Experience

Driver was already at the port though we were quite early. He helped us with our bags, which was great because I had an injury. His English was excellent, he pointed out a few important sites along the way, his car was clean and pleasant, he drove in a way that made us feel safe. Altogether about as good as it gets for a transfer.

Great tour! We were picked up at the Port of Piraeus after a cruise, with the tour guide waiting with a sign to greet us. We immediately went to see the Acropolis and spent almost two hours there. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had lots of breaks in the shade as we climbed the steps and viewed the Parthenon and other buildings. After the Acropolis stop, bottled water was provided back at the van and appreciated after the long walk in the hot weather. We left that area and then stopped for other photo opportunities as we were driven around Athens and then finally dropped off at our hotel.
