Tour with Phryne was exceptional
We met Phryne in front of the Acropolis museum and went directly inside. She had bought tickets to the museum and the Acropolis ahead of time to save time and hassle, which was very much appreciated! Phryne was extremely knowledgeable, with an advanced degree in archeology and classics, and was full of interesting information and observations. She was also very kind and accommodating to our needs and desires. In all, a fantastic tour with a fantastic guide!

Great guide.
Given the crowds (even in late May), hard to imagine doing this without a guide. Ours ably dealt with the kids and a person unable to make the climb while getting the rest of us to the top and through the museum in time and without seeming rushed.

Essentials
It is very full of information and history. It is a bit fast paced, so water is definitely your friend. Definitely head cover even for ladies. Camera and learning spirit is a must.

10/10 Acropolis experience
We enjoyed every single minute of our Acropolis tour! Our guide, Lidia, was absolutely amazing. As a historian, she shared so many unique and sometimes astonishing facts that truly brought the history to life. The tour perfectly covered both the Acropolis Museum and the actual archaeological site. Plus, she knew exactly where to take us for the best photo spots. Highly recommend!

Tour by a knowledgeable guide
I had the pleasure of being guided by Liza whom also studied archeology and was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. She gave us plenty of breaks. I would recommended the 8:00am start as it gets very hot, bring sung glasses, wear white clothing and eat before if you can.

Gems of Athens — Worth Every Step
Loved this tour. Our guide Fontina was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and kept the group moving at a great pace. Having a licensed guide makes a real difference; they have access to areas others don’t. Highly recommend. Just bring cash to tip — she earned it!

Great tour
Tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and made sure we saw all of the important sights. It is very hot and a lot of walking but she did an excellent job taking us up to the acropolis through shades areas and slowly with stops, you didn't even realize you walked that far! Thank you so much for an informative tour

Excellent guide and tour. Length of tour and knowledge of guide was excellent. The smaller size of group was also ideal for us

Parthenon/Acropolis Tour with Museum
Excellent experience. My wife and I walked about 15mins thru the city to the meeting point from our hotel King George. It was a really nice walk. We met up with a group. Our tour guide was great and shared a lot of good information and kept the tour engaging the whole time. Gave us time to take pictures as well in great spots. Make sure to bring a pair of good sneakers! And some water. Really loved walking up to the Parthenon and then we also did the acropolis museum which was very cool too.
