Magic with the condors
We came to see the condors and were not disappointed! Our guide, Ivan, was wonderful! He made the experience magical, especially playing a couple of songs on his flute. He was particularly attentive, as I had a bad stomach and he stopped a number of times to let me take care of things.

Day trip to Colca canyon
Although we didn’t see the condor, it was an excellent trip, the guide introduced the sites very clearly and understandable. It will be a 5 star trip if we see the condors.

Magical Experience!
The three day Colca Canyon trek was so special! The hiking and the views were absolutely spectacular. Our guide Carlos was such a kind and patient person and he shared his knowledge of the animals, plants, and culture along the way. I highly recommend the 3 day vs the 2 day if you have the time, as you will have more opportunities to stop to take photos, try local fruit, and relax at the sweet accommodations in the canyon. The whole tour was extremely well organized and well worth the price.

Not just a hike
My partner and I highly recommend this fantastic experience. Our tour guide Alex was highly organized, knowledgeable, professional and caring. The two days were packed with activity aside from the strenuous hike through the breathtaking Colca canyon. The overnight accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts were welcoming. This was not just a hike but a two day experience.

Arequipa
Colca Canyon - one of the deepest canyons in the world, Peru
  • Multi-day Colca Canyon tours often include visits to nearby attractions in the Arequipa region, such as Puno on Lake Titicaca or the Pampa Canahuas Reserve, famous for its wild vicunas.

  • Day trips from Arequipa to the canyon can last up to 14 hours.

  • You won’t need to buy Colca Canyon tickets or permits. While the attraction is free, joining a guided tour is safer than visiting independently.

  • Stave off altitude sickness by allowing yourself a couple of days to acclimate in Arequipa before attempting any activities.

  • Pack comfortable shoes and lots of warm clothing, especially if you plan to spend the night.
