Enjoyable experience! The guy was knowledgeable in explaining the stars and showed us a few key ones through the telescope. There was only 1 telescope to share but didnt really harm at all. Drinks and snacks prepared for us which were highly appreciated.
Overall logistics was good, whatsapp messages sent to us confirming everything beforehand. Got my photo after a few days.

Fantastic full day trip
Fantastic full day experience. Felipe the guide was really knowledgeable at every sight. The places we visited were breathtaking, the food was excellent - both the breakfast and the restaurant lunch.
The whole day was really enjoyable. Would really recommend it.

This is a great tour
The geysers are amazing — and walking among them, seeing different geysers rise according to their unique cycles, was really impressive. Our guide, George, was very informative. Breakfast was good. Definitely worth the early wake up but dress warm! It is seriously cold!

Valle de la Luna San Pedro de Atacama
We booked last minute and was glad we did. We had Lorena as our guide and boy, she was energetic, passionate and very informative. She toggled between Spanish and English and we felt that all the information she was giving us was not at all lacking. She really wanted us to get the most of our exploration. This tour is a must, inspite of the weather turning on us toward the end, she still pushed on to find us a viewpoint where the cool drizzle got our group even more excited. Highly recommend it.

Nata (our guide) and Carlos (our driver) were exceptional hosts.
Nata amazed us with her energy, thorough knowledge of the stops on the tour, and her precise timing that kept our group away from the crowds. She slipped seamlessly and tirelessly from Spanish to Portuguese to English.
Carlos was a safe driver and an excellent breakfast chef.
We had a great morning and would recommend this tour to anyone!!!

Travel with Puka Rumi!
Andrés, our guide, and Jordan, our driver, were exceptional hosts. From start to finish, they were friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and solicitous. We had the feeling that they knew exactly how to avoid the crowds and timed everything perfectly. We learned a lot from George’s narration on the trip, and his English translations were spot on, so we never felt like we missed out on any information. They also provided delicious food and drinks.
The Red Rocks full day tour was one of two tours we took with the Puka Rumi tour company, and we thoroughly enjoyed both. We HIGHLY recommend this tour, and we would take any other tours they offer without hesitation.
Thank you for making one of our three days in Atacama a memory that will last a lifetime!

Staff and experience were fantastic!
I did two tours in a quick 12h taste of San Pedro Atacama. This was the better of the two tours! Not only did they wait for me as I had many flight delays, they communicated via WhatsApp very well.
George was fantastic and made the trip feel less commercial. He spoke both Spanish and English and was very personable. Our driver Claude prevented a bigger issue by catching a problem with the van early versus later and being further away from help. We were switched to another pretty quickly. I actually enjoyed the delay as it gave me time to play with my drone (as you can’t while inside the park sadly).
The lake (that you can swim in) was sadly smaller than I imagined but overall still a great experience from the staff to the floating and overall experience of a salt desert.

Our guide, Brando, was pretty cool and made the tour enjoyable.
Their pickup system is very well organized. Everyone is added to a group chat where they share the bus’s live location, so it’s easy not to miss the pickup.
The first stop is a restroom break, followed by a 45-minute hike. After that, we visited the Tres Marías statues, a salt mine, and then stopped for snacks. The snack stop had lots of options, including chips, cookies, chicken nuggets, juice, pisco sour, and plenty of sauces. There’s another restroom stop before the final highlight at the sunset viewpoint.
One small thing to note: there is an entrance fee that must be paid separately, either in cash at the office or by requesting a payment link through WhatsApp.

Fun Experience
The tour was fun. I liked that it was only a half day so we still had free time during the day to explore the town. You start out with swimming in Laguna Cejar, which is a fun experience. You float so easily and the water is refreshing. The only downside to this part of the tour is that the workers at the laguna rushed us a bit, which made everyone kinda stressed, trying to get out of the water and rinse off quickly. We then stopped 2 more times to see other lagunas that you could not swim in. We were also given some snacks and juice or pisco sour. The tour guide gave us information about the lagunas as well. Just make sure to wear sunscreen after swimming because the UV is no joke.

Magical experience in Atacama
The tour was very well organized since the moment we bought it here. Everything was very timely and well communicated. We were only 6 people on the tour, so it felt very private. I learnt a lot about the stars and planets we saw, and at the same time it did not feel like too much, that I would forget it as soon as I heard it :) Also, the snacks and drinks were amazing, the whole atmosphere felt very cosy.

Picked up from hotel in Atacama and taken to an area outside the city. They have a telescope setup and a guide will focus various objects in the sky. Similar experience to an observatory but with lesser powerful telescopes. You also get pictures taken with a professional camera setup as a souvenir.

Stargazing is a MUST-do when in The Atacama!
The Atacama is known for its dark skies and astronomical observatories. So getting out to see the southern night sky is a mist-do. I’m glad I picked this tour. Good transportation and communications, and Rodrigo is an excellent guide. He’s super knowledgeable, having written books on the subject. He started with stargazing with the “naked eye” and telling us lots of interesting stories, before taking us to see several celestial objects up close through professional telescopes. Rodrigo speaks slowly and clearly, and took time to answer questions. Note that it gets COLD out at night (even in mid-December) so bring layers. They provide blankets as well. At the end he shares wine, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of sweet and savory snacks which are enjoyed around a campfire. We were picked up after midnight and arrived back at the hotels in town about 30 min later.

The high altitude and volcanic terrain of San Pedro de Atacama means it has myriad outdoor adventure options. The town sits high in the Andes Mountains and the surrounding desert landscape features lagoons, natural hot springs, dunes, and geysers. Popular San Pedro de Atacama tours include excursions to see the Valley of the Moon’s rock formations, the desert’s salt flats, a field full of active geysers, and the Los Flamencos National Reserve, where you can see three different species of flamingo.
