Amazing experience from start to finish.
Amazing experience from start to finish. The landscapes were absolutely unreal — Piedras Rojas, the Altiplanic Lagoons, and Chaxa Lagoon all felt unique and breathtaking in different ways. Seeing flamingos in such beautiful surroundings was a highlight. The tour was very well organised, the guide was excellent, and there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Definitely one of the best tours we did in Atacama and highly recommended.

Great tour and an amazing experience overall.
Great tour and an amazing experience overall. Valle de la Luna truly lives up to its name — the landscapes felt surreal and unlike anywhere we’ve been before. Watching the sunset over the desert was absolutely beautiful. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the tour was very well organised. A must-do when visiting San Pedro de Atacama.

Book the English speaking Guide!
We had a awesome tour with our english speaking guide Daniel (and our driver Berni). He explaint and show us so much. Others we met during our trip had only a spanish speaking driver, which is also the guide. There were not happy.
Don't safe the money on the wrong end. Without the english extra guide, it would be only a 3-4 star expierance. Daniel made it to a 5!

A great day tour
Perfect day trip. The whole day went great, the breakfast was really good, lunch in a resturant and the stops were in a good order that you were not in the bus for a long time. The driver/guide was great and took the time to stop and point things out that we would have missed if not for him. The tour was relaxing and not rushed which was the perfect way to spend our last day in the Atacama Desert.

Great astronomical tour
Great guide. He gave us a great tour of the night sky. Helped us set up our iPhones to take great astronomical photos. Explored the arm of the Milky Way, different stars and planets. The technical telescope he used was very good. He helped us understand the universe and our place in it. A wonderful night indeed.

Great morning out! Delicious breaky.
Great half day tour to the geysers with Pukarumi tours. Our guide was Aslye and she was excellent - knowledgable, friendly, and was able to answer lots of questions. She also was very firm about the importance of being respectful to the animals which we really liked. And when cara were speeding past us at the flamingo lagoon she was signalling to them to slow down - also appreciated this! The breakfast was top notch - best scrambled eggs that I have had in 3 months in South America. Delicious fresh bread, avocado, fruit and coffee. (Also meat, cheese and cake which I didn’t have).
The geysers were beautiful - really worth the early rise. I have been to geysers in NZ and Iceland and Bolivia and thought these were fabulous.
Also shout out to Brian, our very safe driver. And to Walter who cooked the tasty eggs!

Great experience! Andrej...
Great experience! Andrej was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of facts. Our group had mixed abilities in riding with a mountain bike but Andrej was brilliant at making sure everyone got the best experience. Was a great way to meet others and the ride in the evening allowed for some great sights and cool rides through some archways. Would highly recommend!

Good Experience
The tour was well organized, fun, informative, and efficient. We had a great start to the day by having a breakfast with a view. Once we arrived to the lagoons, spent a brief 20 minutes to swim in the first one which is the only lagoon where you can swim. The water was freezing cold, but with a beautiful turquoise color. Our guide Andres and driver Aldo were great. Andres was communicative in both English & Spanish, friendly and patient with everyone, and took as many pictures/videos as requested. 2 of the 7 lagoons were decent size, the rest fairly small/underwhelming.
I would recommended this tour if you have a half day to spare in San Pedro and haven't seen anything like it before.

Excellent tour for stargazing
Excellent experience for stargazing 🔭 along with the telescope viewing of the stars and the moon especially was really fascinating . They even took some great astrophotography shots of all of us and serves us drinks / snacks . The guide explained all things in detail as best as he could about stars and other things related to space so the entire group could follow. Definitely recommend this company when you’re in San Pedro de Atacama. Only thing to note is when the intensity of the moon is brighter, you may not be able to see many stars at night and your photo Astro photo might not be as great compared to a night without moonlight. So if this matters to you as well, please do check the lunar calendar for e moon cycles before booking this activity

Valle de la Luna San Pedro de Atacama
We booked last minute and was glad we did. We had Lorena as our guide and boy, she was energetic, passionate and very informative. She toggled between Spanish and English and we felt that all the information she was giving us was not at all lacking. She really wanted us to get the most of our exploration. This tour is a must, inspite of the weather turning on us toward the end, she still pushed on to find us a viewpoint where the cool drizzle got our group even more excited. Highly recommend it.

Picked up from hotel in...
Picked up from hotel in Atacama and taken to an area outside the city. They have a telescope setup and a guide will focus various objects in the sky. Similar experience to an observatory but with lesser powerful telescopes. You also get pictures taken with a professional camera setup as a souvenir.

Stargazing is a MUST-do when in The Atacama!
The Atacama is known for its dark skies and astronomical observatories. So getting out to see the southern night sky is a mist-do. I’m glad I picked this tour. Good transportation and communications, and Rodrigo is an excellent guide. He’s super knowledgeable, having written books on the subject. He started with stargazing with the “naked eye” and telling us lots of interesting stories, before taking us to see several celestial objects up close through professional telescopes. Rodrigo speaks slowly and clearly, and took time to answer questions. Note that it gets COLD out at night (even in mid-December) so bring layers. They provide blankets as well. At the end he shares wine, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of sweet and savory snacks which are enjoyed around a campfire. We were picked up after midnight and arrived back at the hotels in town about 30 min later.

The high altitude and volcanic terrain of San Pedro de Atacama means it has myriad outdoor adventure options. The town sits high in the Andes Mountains and the surrounding desert landscape features lagoons, natural hot springs, dunes, and geysers. Popular San Pedro de Atacama tours include excursions to see the Valley of the Moon’s rock formations, the desert’s salt flats, a field full of active geysers, and the Los Flamencos National Reserve, where you can see three different species of flamingo.
