Ålesund is a charming Art Nouveau town on Norway’s west coast. It was almost completely rebuilt after a great fire destroyed the town center in 1904. The tour starts in front of Destinasjon Ålesund & Sunnmøre, the tourist office, and takes you along Kongens Gate Road. You’ll see striking views of the tiny Molja Lighthouse, Mount Aksla, and the Ålesund strait, which prove why the town was voted the most beautiful in Norway. A scenic 900-meter walk on a gentle path with no gradient will lead us to the viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views of Ålesund and its stunning surroundings. From the viewpoint, we will descend 418 steps back to the town, where it's just a short walk to the harbor.‍ Please Note: For those who prefer not to walk to the viewpoint or down the steps, the bus will return directly to the harbor.
