Tour operator kept us informed of time changes to the tour and meeting location.
Our tour guide was lovely and she had lots of information regarding our drive.
The were several stops for viewing Fjords and lovely scenery. The switchbacks were daunting and breathtaking. Our driver was super skilled rounding these curves (a bit of a nail biter).
Plenty of time at the different stops.

Even though it rained all day it was still a great tour! The bus driver terrified us. She wouldn't get off her phone while driving.
Wonderful Day!

Great trip with a great guide and an excellent driver. We saw so much and covered many miles. The sights are spectacular and the road from the visitor centre is a wild ride - hence we loved our driver.
Would do it again in a heartbeat.

There is just no way to reach these areas for photography from a Cruise ship without taking a 4 1/2 hour bus tour for just 1 hour of viewing the amazing scenery. Yes, its long on sitting, but in my view, worth it for the views.

The bus is definitely the easiest way to see Troll road, however each stop was way too rushed for people to use restrooms (along with 4-6 other bus loads) and see the sites. We didn’t even make a stop at the Troll wall. The audio in the bus was incredibly loud but the guide didn’t seem to think there was anything to be done about it so that was a bit uncomfortable during the drive. Bring snacks with you.

Very scenic drive - the drive itself is an experience and the views of Trollstigen are very impressive.

Guide was not overly informed or entertaining. Minimal historical facts during drive time. Great photo ops.

Tour guide, Denim was VERY knowledgable, friendly, funny, and confident. My favorite guide on this trip to Norway . 10 stars for Denim.

sapana_p, May 2026
This trip is not just about trolls. It takes us through very scenic sites. Tour guide Danim was friendly and efficient. The trip takes about 6.5 hours. I would definitely recommend this to those who enjoy nature more than city walks.
JOHN_R, May 2026
Breathtaking experience once you leave the city limits. Simply amazing views. Plenty of time at each stop to do everything and enjoy it all. Driver and tour guide were fantastic. Driver handled a minor “incident” calmly and professionally. Great experience all around!!

Amazing experience visiting this incredible area., Informative guide Would recommend this tour to others

A great way to explore further afield at a much more affordable rate than the cruise ship excursions. The bus picks passengers up in the port parking lot before the all day tour that is guided by an excellent guide and driver. The trip makes multiple stops, but never felt rushed and returned to the port with plenty of time to spare. The scenery is fantastic and very worth seeing.
John_S, May 2026
We got to see more and paid less than those who took the comparable tour offered by the cruise line.

Anna is a terrific guide, who gave wonderful insights into the culture and the places we visited, allowing a comfortable time in each place for us to spend there. Anneke is a marvelous driver, and we were all dazzled by her handling of the big bus down the Trollveggan. Thanks to both!

Incredible, the views were stunning. Very impressive Tour guide, full of knowledge and lots of great stops

Great troll / waterfall tour.
Driver was awesome on the very steep and winding road. She made it look and seem easy. Driver gave great commentary. And loved her little troll stories!

We hesitantly booked this tour when we couldn't figure out what we wanted to do at this port stop and we ended up being blown away! This was the most gorgeous drive with scenery that pictures cannot do justice to. There were a great number of stops to break up the drive and we saw a bunch of cool things. Would absolutely do it again.

The guide was very nice, but the bus was filthy. It was a sunny day and the windows were all streaked. You could Not see anything through them. The guide would say to look at something and we could Not see it. The tray at the seat was filthy also. I have pictures that I would post if I could. Of course stopping at Trollstigen was Amazing, but the trip to get there was terrible.
Lela_L, Sep 2025
While the tour itself was very good, the bus that we were taken in had zero visibility for most of the right side windows (which were the most scenic views) and the side we were seated on. This bus should be put out to pasture. For the price we paid this was a huge disappointment.

Beautiful scenery. winding roads and TROLLS make this a fun experience as well as seeing the country other than the towns.
Diane_P, Aug 2025
It was a wonderful tour, beautiful scenery, and waterfalls. Our tour guide was wonderful. She did a great job of telling us what time to be back. Everybody was back on time and she was very knowledgeable of the area.
Sara_K, Aug 2025
Excellent tour! Tons of information about the local community. The views were spectacular. Would highly recommend
Kim_R, Aug 2025
All in all it was a gorgeous and beautiful tour, but not at all what we were expecting. Would definitely recommend if you want some beautiful scenery.
Richard_K, Jul 2025
Very good tour up through the mountains, unfortunately the Troll Pass was closed due to a landslide that said very enjoyable good lady guide,
Alison_C, Jun 2025
Great way to see much of the Norwegian countryside. Tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and took us to some amazing viewpoints. It was unfortunate that part of the road was closed to a rock slide so we didn’t get to go further.
kira_k, Jun 2025
The views were absolutely amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable and the driver very experienced.
Robert_B, Jun 2025
Tour guide told a coupe of cute stories--but front door on bus didn't work, making it very difficult for my handicapped wife to get off and back on during the 6 stops. Plus--nearly 80 degrees and air conditioner on the bus didn't work either. Don't let "land of the trolls" mislead you--nothing special about trolls.
TERESA_Y, Jun 2025
Small group, great tour, highly recommend! It was so beautiful and well organized. Elizabeth was an amazing guide!
