A great mix!
Holly was our guide on this great day out. We certainly covered some ground but it was a great mix of things to do. Our visit to Handorf was our favourite, and Holly put us right on where to go, including the pretzels and nutcrackers. Great to have a table waiting for lunch and for wine tastings booked in. Thank you, Holly!

Incredible Experience!!!
What an incredible experience! Craig, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable throughout the day.
The visits to Kay Brothers and Hazelgrove wineries were fantastic. Craig explained the history of each place in such an engaging and detailed way. Even though I’m a local, I learned so much that I never knew before. His knowledge was truly commendable and he explained every little detail with passion and enthusiasm.
What made the day even more special was that it was my birthday & this tour made my day truly memorable. This was my fourth time doing one of these wine tours, and once again it exceeded my expectations.
A huge thank you to Craig for making my birthday so enjoyable & unforgettable. I’ll definitely be booking another tour again & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic wine tour experience!

Brilliant tour, highly recommended.
This is an awesome tour, where you'll see some incredible wildlife, both in their natural habitat and in a wildlife park. Dani, our guide, was brilliant, making sure we were everywhere in good time, had enough time at the various stops and provided a ton of local history and information on our way around the island. The provided lunch was very tasty too. The one thing I would say is prepare for a very long day - we left Adelaide at 6.45am and I was dropped back at my hotel at 10.15pm. The drive to Cape Jervis takes about 90-110 minutes and then the ferry crossing (which has toilets and a snack bar) takes about 45 minutes.

A great day of fun
From the on-time pick up, we felt the day was going to be a good one. Roy was bright, cheery and welcoming. We had an interesting mix of passengers from across Australia and Toronto, Canada. As per the itinerary, there were plenty of stops with time to wander at leisure. All in all, we had a fabulous day thanks to Roy and his fun and informative banter and jokes.

Barossa Discovery
A great selection of wineries and a lovely lunch! Very informative guidance from our tour guide and lots of fun getting to know my fellow tour participants!
An excellent combination of food, fun and making new friends whilst seeing the country. What could be better?

Willkommen aus Hahndorf
Informative, enjoyable & unrushed 4hr minibus tour. Our lovely driver made us all very welcome from the very outset. Nothing was too much trouble.
Stunning far reaching views from Mt Lofty (obviously at high altitude bring extra layer) Autumnal colours driving through hills & small towns.
Try the freeze dried strawberries dipped in chocolate at Beerenberg - worth every cent!
Hahndorf more German than Germany! Shops galore, bars, bakeries, artwork & museum - something for everyone! I even found a superb jazz band!
Afternoon tea/coffee & cake (or beers) a delightful bonus!
A perfect day out!

Amazing vineyards & tastings!
Amazing tour! Great guide, Sara, was lots of fun & had loads of great info about the areas we visited! All the vineyards were lovely and gave great info about their winemaking processes and local areas. Highly recommend this tour! Even if you are not a wine lover, you certainly will be after this experience!

Brilliant Barossa
Best way to explore the Barossa. We chose our own adventure and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We found 1 hour the perfect amount of time to spend at each winery. Rusden is a must! Annie at Burge really knows her stuff. Laurie is a fabulous host. Many thanks

Amazing experience
Really enjoyed our morning kayaking at Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary. The guides (Mark and Liam) were really friendly and welcoming as well as being very knowledgeable about the area and dolphins. Liked going through the mangroves, learning about wildlife and then seeing two dolphins who were swimming and diving around the harbour.
Would definitely recommend this as an activity to do, and would do it again when we next visit.
Thank you so much.

Excellent Barossa Experience
The day was well structured, lots to see and do. Our guide, Deep was great, informative, fun and spot on with timing of everything. Spots we visited were wonderful. Large winery, then smaller family owned one. Lunch was delicious. A very enjoyable day.

I wasn’t planning on wine...
I wasn’t planning on wine tasting in the area because I didn’t want to do it solo but I am so glad I decided that it was important for me to experience it. Our guide was fantastic and the small group was friendly and felt luck to have visited the cube and Glenelg, two stops outside the CBD that were on my wishlist to visit. It was a lovely afternoon and just the right amount of wine and right amount of time To get an understanding of what McLaren Vale has to offer.

Great trip, would totally recommend.
Paul was a great guide, giving us lots of interesting info about Aussie history, Adelaide and the areas we visited with plenty of Aussie humour. The locations were great, the boat (needs a bit of tlc) was relaxing, cruising up the river, past the conservation areas. We saw several different types of birds. The food provided on board was really good too. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
While Adelaide charms with its sunny beaches and thriving cultural scene, there’s a whole lot of South Australia to see beyond its major city. Wine fans can sample the region’s finest at Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale, and nature lovers can explore the Murray River and meet the wildlife on Kangaroo Island. Elsewhere, take in the views at Victor Harbor and visit historic towns such as Strathalbyn and Hahndorf. With transport, guides and often food and drink included, Adelaide day trips offer a hassle-free way to experience Australia’s south.
