- Koala experiences do not operate on days when the forecast temperatures above 32 degrees C (90 degrees F) in Mount Barker and can also be cancelled by the park at any time due to animal welfare concerns.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- The tour is partially guided. One of the guides will be with the group for the first half of the tour,
- This tour spends approximately 3 hours at Cleand from 11am - 2pm, please keep this in mind if booking additional animal experiences.
- Tours will not operate on days that are rated a catastrophic fire day in Mt Lofty
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 13 travelers

Beautiful wildlife park with many animals in open areas. Visitors can take photos of koalas and staff will allow touching them at specific times of the day. Park is clean and well maintained with pleasant staff. There are good walking paths and a nice view of Adelaide. Takes about 3 to 4 hours.

It’s not a big park so no more than 3hrs to get round. It Was great that they had a viewing of Koalas where you could have your photo taken, so we met Florence. The larger Kangaroos were friendly letting us stroke & feed them but the baby ones were scared. This is great for children and adults of all ages too.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere at Cleland. You can wander freely amongst many of the animals and even feed them special food! Close up with a Koala called Florence was a treat, as was seeing Echidna. Would recommend.

Feeding the kangaroos. They are so gentle One of the best wildlife facilities I have ever visited.. The animals could interact with humans but also had areas free from humans

Nice day at park. Tob was great guide. Time at park seemed about an hour too long. Very limited koala viewing opportunity but kangaroos were plentiful!

We never got to go on this excursion as our ship docked 3 hours late. As the captain didn't make the announcement until his daily update at noon, we didn't find out until within 24 hours of the trip, so we're only getting 1/2 of our money back. Not happy. We have a total of 9 excursions scheduled, this was our 3rd. We docked an hour late in Albany and Busy Blue bus tours made allowances and picked us up at the port. When I heard back from pureSA, they said they had administrative expenses and that is why they could only refund 1/2 of our money. They didn't have to pick us up at the port, so where are the administrative expenses?

We had a lovely day at Cleland Wildlife Park via Mount Lofty summit. We had about 4 hours at the park which allowed a very relaxing, no pressure day with lots of time with the animals. We had lunch at the park as well which was reasonably priced and delicious.

A lovely day out had by all (group of 5) Family came over from Scotland & they got to see all our Aussie animals. Koalas, Emus, Kangaroos, Dingos etc & even two snakes!
They also loved the views from Mt Lofty Summit.

The tour was a very simple one just on the outskirts of Adelaide. Saw the city and area from a great vantage point.
A fun stop at Cleland wildlife park. We got to hold Koalas and got to be up close to Kangaroos and many other animals.

Great tour! Great Experience! Be sure to try and reserve your Koala Hold tickets before your tour. As far in advance as possible. They sold out the day I went so I had to settle for the Koala Close Up experience that comes with the tour.
The Cleland Wildlife Park experience is great for a leisurely day. Bring a picnic if you'd like or enjoy the food sold at the cafe. Either way, you'll enjoy yourself.

It was a wonderful tour which included a close encounter with koala bears and other other animals at Cleland Wildlife Park. Also, Mr Lofty was great too. Will definitely recommend this tour. Moreover, Mike our guide was very friendly and informative.

Lovely experience, the guide Mike is very professional and friendly, sharing a lot of useful tips in exploring the wildlife park. Particularly like the selfie with Koala part (forgot the exact name they got for this, which is included in the entry fee). Included in the tour is also a pack of animal food which can be fed to kangaroos and some other animals, but most of them are quite shy, so you need to really have the patience to wait, or look out for ones which are more adventurous than the others! The short detour to the summit is superb too, there you can have a good look at Adelaide city.

One of the main highlights of my trip in Adelaide. Although not much could be seen from Mount Lofty Summit due to the rainy weather, Cleland Wildlife Park was an absolute gem. Our guide gave us a few tips on what not to miss, but the most important tip was to line up for the koala hold experience early! Although the koala hold commenced from 2pm, bookings and payments could be made from 1.30pm. The koala hold actually sold out after 10 people at about 1.45pm when I went, and I was lucky to have just made it (tip: they determine the number of customers for the koala hold based on the experience and condition of the koalas who have been chosen for the job, so I understand it may differ day to day). It was definitely a memorable experience to be able to cuddle a koala, every penny is worth it! Being able to get close to, appreciate and feed a variety of animals was amazing. Staff members at the park were also excellent. Definitely recommend!

The guide was great! Such an amazing experience :D The animals were very friendly and the food and coffee was delicious. Bring a light jacket tho, its very shaded and a little chilly.

Kids are very happy to feed kangaroos and lots of birds. Good experience to hug and close-up with Koala bears, but the queue is a bit long during holidays.

Enjoyed the day with an excellent guide, looked after us superbly. The park was spread out a little too much with out animals in some areas. Didnt have much time at Mount lofty, just time for aquick photo. It was rather chilly and breezy.

Wonderful park. you get to see the exotic animals of Australia. Most importantly, the animals look healthy and happy. Many are not in cages. I realized my dream of holding a koala bear and fed kangaroos. I absolutely loved this trip. The tour company agreed to pick us up even though we did not stay in a hotel listed as a pick up point.

This is a very relaxing tour. We travelled with young children and had quality family time together. Children enjoyed feeding Kangaroos, Wallabies and other little animals very much. The driver Mike is nice and helpful.

Mike took me in spite of the fact that I was the only passenger registered and gave me the usual 5 stars VIP treatment.
He also saved me lots of money.... A two ways taxi, and entrance would cost me 125 and with Mike I got a VIP pickup, basic explanations , a bottle of water and food for the animals...
