We had such a great time! The wineries were beautiful and it's great how you get to choose the ones you want to visit off the list, and pick the tasting options for example wine and choc or cheese. Our driver had heaps of extra tips for us to take onboard while we were there on holiday. Definitely recommend!

Great way to visit different wineries! We got a good amount of time at each winery. Be sure to budget extra $$$ for each winery as the tasting prices aren’t included in the overall tour price! Overall super great, our bus driver was amazing and provided informative commentary as well!

Overview

Go wine tasting in the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf on a full-day hop-on hop-off winery tour from Adelaide. Really good trip, well organised. Our driver was lovely and really helpful. Nepenthe was by far our favourite. Lots of the places accommodate none drinkers so it is good for all. Beautiful scenery & even saw some wild kangaroos in the vines! Make sure you read the info pack before the day so you can make bookings.

As a solo participant on the Adelaide Hills Hop on Hop off Wine Tour, I found the driver, Brett, and and other people really friendly and inclusive. Brett was amazing and goes out of his way to help you have a great day. It's a lot of fun but one thing I would say, is to make sure that you remind the wineries upfront that you have limited time. Ask for a wine flight (where they serve you all the wines at once, rather than just two by two), otherwise you have to wait for them to return and if they're busy, you may find yourself running behind time, despite having the lanyard from Trailhoppers. As for food, Nepenthe have delicious and generous servings!

This tour was FABULOUS and I would gladly redo this tour again. I loved the wineries and Hahndorf Town was wonderful. We were able to spend more than 2 hours here which really suited our plans. Brett our guide was amazing and so helpful with information on the wineries and area in general. Would definitely do this tour again on our return visit and tell all my friends about it.

Nice options to choose from. We did 3 wineries with lunch at one and a walk around Hanhdorf. Only downside was the driver could have slowed down going over speed bumps - she was great otherwise!!

Would highly recommend this tour! Bonnie our guide, was so friendly, passionate & informative about her knowledge of Adelaide and the surrounding vineyards. Pick ups and drop off's were on time with a relaxed atmosphere. Viator's communication on line and over the phone has been so efficient, and helpful from Bookings to followup emails and reminders. Would highly recommend enjoying a tasting @ Shaw & Smith, our experience there was Amazing!! We couldn't fault it. The grounds at Bird in Hand are incredible, however the Tasting was disappointing, as they seemed understaffed and forgot about us, leaving us pushed for time to catch the bus. Harndorf village is a must see, gorgeous little village, smake sure you allow plenty of time for souvenir shopping!!

Very convenient way to see the area and Hahndorf. Choose your pick up and drop offs and be able to enjoy a drink or two. Our guide was a delight, if somewhat forgetful if we were in Hahndorf or the Barossa 😂

Only improvement would be an A4 sheet handout of the timetable and vineyard synopsis to all passengers requiring one. No-one brought their laptops with them and information difficult to see in context on iPhone

Lovely day out at Adelaide wineries

We had a lovely day out in Adelaide and Handorf. With the option of visiting four wineries on the hop on, hop off tour, we ended up only visiting two to allow some time in Hahndorf at the end. Each winery offered a 6 glass sampling of wines with generous pours and knowledgeable guides. (I would estimate at least an hour at each winery for this). fWe could have used more time at our first stop but weren't able to schedule it to sync with the bus. (The reservation schedule at each winery didn't necessarily line up with our bus schedule which was a bit of a challenge). Our bus guide was great, personable, and laid back. Overall, we really enjoyed the outing.

The Trailhopper Hop On Hop Off was fantastic! The “choose your own adventure” style of tour gives great flexibility for your day with a brilliant selection of wineries to choose from. We had a wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly driver in Nathan. Honestly couldn’t have been a better day! Highly recommend and would do it again when I come back to Adelaide.
