It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet other people and exchange experiences. I 100% recommend this tour. The breathtaking scenery alone made it worthwhile. The visit to the charming German village was a delight, with plenty of unique shops to explore. The two Barossa wineries were fantastic, offering excellent wines in beautiful settings. I absolutely loved the experience!

I really liked and enjoyed the WINE part of this tour. Hanhndorf, the jam factory and the cheese and chocolate factory were a little too 'disney' for me- especially Hahndorf. I am sure there are others who would love those. The wine tastings were a great way to learn more about the Barrosa valley and its wines, and I could have done with maybe one more of those added to the tour instead of the non-wine stuff. A special shout out to our guide Jerry, who was very personable, and a found of interesting and relevant info on all that we were seeing and experiencing.

I cannot recommend this tour group enough! Coming from Sydney, we had such an enjoyable experience, especially thanks to our tour guide and amazing driver, Holly. We loved that we got to stop at so many different places and experience so much of the Adelaide Hills. Holly was incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited and made the whole day even more enjoyable.
It was an amazing tour, and we even made new friends with people from all over Australia. It was definitely worth the price, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide!

Holly was our guide on this great day out. We certainly covered some ground but it was a great mix of things to do. Our visit to Handorf was our favourite, and Holly put us right on where to go, including the pretzels and nutcrackers. Great to have a table waiting for lunch and for wine tastings booked in. Weather plays a big part in the experience. We had a glorious day and great views from a quick stop at Mt. Lofty (often under cloud). Our tour was on a public holiday, so sadly a lot of shops closed at Strathalbyn, a town with beautiful old stone buildings. Again, at Hahndorf, many shops were closed but the scones from the bakery were exceptional. An hour really wasn’t enough time to explore. The two wine tastings were interesting.

If you want to learn about the very rich and interesting history of the area I suggest you go with another business. Our guide gave us very little history compared to others we have been with. His English was hard to understand and he couldn’t answer any questions about the areas we travelled through, we had to use AI to find out what he should have known. I was disappointed as I wanted my family to experience what we have in the past with others companies.

This was a great day trip to Hahndorf and the Barossa region. Lovely lunch. Annil our driver and guide was knowledgeable about the history of the regions and had lots of stories to tell. Lots of opportunities to taste chocolate, cheese and of course wines of the region. Excellent value.

Fun tour would just revise a couple stops. Eliminating the strawberry stop, cheese & chocolate stops would allow another 45 minutes in Hahndorf.

Well organised trip which is very good value for money. 2 great wine tastings and lovely lunch. Excellent stop at Handoff German village, with enough time to have a look around without feeling bored. Very highly recommended

Broad cross section of area short drive from Adelaide Hahndorf is lovely German historic area we spent quite a bit of time so everyone had chance to do what suited them. Then we had wine areas and delicious lunch Van was comfortable 8 people in group driver was excellent Informative and friendly Great day out that would recommend to friends

Tour is great, but the strawberry picking and chocolate store are not worth the stops. The stop in Handorf and the wineries is great.

It’s a good mix of nice tourist towns especially Hahndorf and some wine tasting but not too much.
Simm our driver was very accomodating and knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend this tour as it also includes a nice light lunch.
