My tour guide Sulaiman...
My tour guide Sulaiman showed me all of the sights in historic Jeddah. I learned of the local history and culture of Jeddah and Saudi Arabia. We visited with Sheikh Mohammad at the mosque and learned the principles of Islam. We explored the souqs and their handcrafted items and foods. I would highly recommend this tour.

Jeddah - Historical Tour
Ayat was an excellent guide – very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She brought the old district of Jeddah to life and answered all my questions about Saudi culture and daily life. My main goal was to truly understand how people live here, and she delivered that completely. The whole experience felt warm, welcoming and personal because of her. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Seeing Al Balad, old town Jeddah, in the evening is magical! Fariel, our guide, was great fun, shared so many wonderful details of the area, great information given... Loved every minute... Including the great Chipati snack, Fatayir, at the end! Didn't miss this!!

Visiting the old town...
Visiting the old town Al-Balad is an absolute must if your in Jeddah. Al-Balad has a calm and vibrant atmosphere, and exploring it feels cinematic. My tour guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable and explained the history of the different areas in Old Jeddah so well. The people were kind and welcoming. The tour is on the pricier side, but it’s worth it, especially if you’re travelling solo.

There is a lot to take in in the vibrant port city of Jeddah, but it’s easy to navigate with guidance from local experts. Jeddah tours take you all over the city, from the historic district of Al-Balad (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Al Tayebat Museum to the central fish market and waterfront park. Jeddah is also a jumping-off point for religious sites such as Mecca and Medina, and the Arabian Desert, where you can go dune bashing, rent quad bikes or 4x4 vehicles, and try rock climbing.
