Once more Yerani travel professionally took us on this long drive but wonderful day trip. The Tatev cable car ride was thrilling and the Tatev Monastery impresses with the majestic architecture. As for the water falls nature never stop amazing us with its creations. Nektar the guide was so articulate and spoke fluently English and with a vibrant character made the trip even more interesting. Culinary no matter which of the set menus would be chosen there was a big variety of salads soup and main course and all was exceptional tasty and the restaurant owner was welcoming offering his own vodka production and treats that made the difference. The wine tasting gave a chance to taste both grapes and fruit wine products that were of interest.

Dear guest,
Thank You for sharing Your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled that the day trip offered such a mix of breathtaking scenery, cultural highlights, and delicious local flavors. We had amazing tour guide Anastasya, she was so cheerful and well educated. She helped us a lot. Also we had a very skillful driver, and that is very important because the tour is very long. But it was worth it, we saw amazing part of Armenia that is very different of Yerevan and beautifull nature! You can buy fresh organic mountain tea, fresh pomegranate wine, fresh juice, fresh bread made by Armenian grandma. The launch in village was very authentic and everything was so tasty. You will also have ride will cable car that is in Guiness world record. You will see waterfall and breathe fresh mountain air. Also we visited vinery where we tried a lot of different wines that were very unique and tasty and also better and cheaper than in Georgia. It is small family business and they are producing it with love. We also tried the bread with herbs and pomegranate which is produced by refugees from Nagorno Karabah and it is their recipe and you can try it only there. Tatev monastery is beautiful and something very worth it to visit. I would also recommend to buy there from old women herbal tea, bread and some healthy stuffs because everything is from mountains and it is home made and prices are really low.

Dear Marta,
What a vibrant and heartfelt reflection — thank You for painting such a rich picture of the experience! It’s clear the day offered so much more than sightseeing: it was a taste of Armenia’s soul — its nature, people, flavors, and traditions. We're thrilled You connected with the spirit of the region, from the mountain air to the warmth of village life. This kind of journey lingers long after it ends, and we’d be honored to create more unforgettable moments for You in the future!

Food, van ride, punctuality, etc were all good. Our guide Nectar gave many informative bits about Armenia and Tatev.

The tour was long but very amazing. My tour guide, Gayane, was very informative and friendly. Tatev is beautiful and is a must see spot in Armenia

Excellent tour organised by Yerani Travels , Evrything was on time . Wings of Tatev cable car was beautiful.

I have a great time with this tour. It is operated very professionally. The guide is very fluent in both English and Russian and very knowledgeable. She is also very friendly, helpful and know how to connect people. The driver is very skillful in the mountain road. The tour leave enough time at each point for me to enjoy instead of rushing from place to place. The only minus point is that due to a timely densed tour, we don't have enough time for dinner.

Our guide, Anastasiya, knew both Russian and English. She was exceptional from start to finish by showing her knowledge of Yerevan and all the areas outside the city. She answered all our questions in detail and kept us hooked throughout the tour. Marat, our amazing driver drove us safelly the entire time and was such a happy and kind person. This trip was stunning; we got to take the cable car (Wings of Tatev), explore the Tatev Monastery, and see the beautiful Shaki waterfal. A bonus was tasting traditional Armenian food at our first lunch stop. I booked this for me and my parents, and we all were in avsolute awe the entire trip. Thank you so much, Anastasiya, for being the most amazing and fun tourguide!!

Great day tour.
The scenery is amazing for most of the day. You get a mix of Nature, history and culture plus a taste of local food and wine.
It is a long day though dux to distances covered.
Marcell_L, Sep 2024
Not really worth the long drive. The nearby monasteries and tourist destinations are better options than traveling about 5 hours for a cramped up cable car ride to the monastery.

Perfect option for travellers with limited time.

We loved this tour. I brought my mom and two daughters, and we had the best time seeing 4-5 different interesting places on one trip. The drive was extra bumpy, but the incredible sights were worth it.

It is good to experience the oldest monastery in Armenia. Especially the cable car experience is really nice.. Shaki waterfall is wonderful.. must visit
Irma_A, Oct 2023
Ride the cable car .spectacular view .n Of course I love the Shaki Waterfalls. It just reminded me Iceland last year n others. Great to taste homemade wine .eaten fresh grapes. We had a great guide who helped me walked to the falls .I would highly recommend this tour.
Sevana_Y, Aug 2023
Everything was perfect. We enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend to take this tour (yearning tour).
Rachel_M, Jul 2023
we realized the night before the trip we got no information around when we'd get picked up from our meeting point though the info says we'd be reached out to with the specific time. there is no bathroom on the transport, which would have been good to know in advance on such a long trip. i had to reach out for details, which they provided and the trip just did not work for our current circumstance once we learned those details. reviews stated there was no food between lunch + the return at 9pm, so that also worried us. i'm sure it was a nice experience but the lack of information made it stressful + something we decided not to go on for such a long day.
Ayman_K, Jul 2023
This is a very long ride, not the best roads to drive on but the scenery is amazing. The mountains, the waterfall, the churches, the tour guide Sona, all together make this trip worth it.
The food at both the Food Court and the Family Restaurant is average, nothing impressive.
Yerani Travel did amazing by taking every step to make sure we have a great experience.
Hadiyanto_K, Nov 2022
All I can say overall we had great experience, Yerani tour was professional and communicative, traditional lunch was tasty but only thing is Tatev Monastery so far but worth it.
Manush_K, Sep 2022
This was an impressive tour in comfortable mini van. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was yum 😋. Highly recommended.
Agnieszka_S, Jul 2022
This trip is very long but definitely worth it for the Tatev Monastery and Cable car experience.
Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
It's a long day in a car so be prepared.
My only criticism would be regarding lunch - didn't like it at all. The place, atmosphere and food I would rate as 1. I would rather pay more but have some nice regional food.
Tony_T, Jul 2022
The trip was very long, but really enjoyed. He tour guide was exceptionally friendly and have lot of information about Armenia
Donald_H, Sep 2021
Our guide was very good with a mixed group, explaining everything in both Russian and English!
We booked this primarily for the cable car and we were not disappointed!
Mabieline_B, Sep 2021
The longest tour ever. Its tour Armenia. Our guide was so patient in explaining tour details in every language understandable by different nationalities... Worth every dime..
GOPALAKRISHNAN_V, Oct 2019
Very interesting sights, particularly Tatev and Carahungi.
The waterfall and wine tasting were average, and wasted a lot of time.
The lunch was OK.
The guide Armine, was not very good, giving out some wrong information, and not engaging too well with tourists. The minibus was cramped and uncomfortable, particularly as the tour took 15 hours - too long in my opinion. There was no provision for any food between 2 pm and 10 pm when we returned. Yerani travel gave no advice to us, regarding bringing warm clothes or food.

Great tour offered by Viator .I have to describe my experience ; it is just a good or bad luck of a traveler if a tour ends good . We've been 11 participants and a very, VERY lovely guide .Her name - Nare . The minibus was a very good one , AC , and a very skilled driver ( forgot his name ) . Our second stop was at a Stone Henge Sit ,about 300 km away from Yerevan). Lovely landscape with lots of colored flowers around . The group was bilingue , English/Russian . So Nare gave firstly the English explanation, then the russisn one . Unfortunately , I was not attentive during taking a photo , crushed down and broke dramaticaly my leg !! It was definitely my own mistake ! Nare , the guide was there and acted very responsible from the first moment. She asked the ambulance which delivered me in the closest hospital . Nare continued the tour as it is normaly , not before calling the agency in Yerevan , about the issue . This was the moment Harut and Lilith start their big and very long job regarding me . He got the news that my leg needs special surgery in an big Hospital .He ordered and payed on spot an ambulance to bring me in Yerevan ( 300 km! ) . They made the appointment with a great Orthopedist , and all of them were waiting for me to arrive .The next two weeks I had a fantastic experience regarding professional and dedicated people . Harut and Lilith stayed close to my bed as long as possible , they came every day( in spite of fuul season in the office) and offered their help with NO LIMIT up to the last day of my Armenian adventure ! I appreciate their dedicated and helpfull attitude , their professional skills , their fantastic warmhearted soul . There is no way to thank them enough . Regarding the rest of the tour I can tell you that some of the tourists in the minibus visited me in the hospital and told me that it was a great tour shadowed only by my issue. Nare visited me aswell in the hospital , she described the rest of the tour , so I decided that as soon I can step again I'l plan a new trip in Armenia . There is so much to see there . I did't discover the Armenian beauties but discovered the Armenian souls . Thank you Viator and Yerani ! Shall I say that I warmly recommend both of them ?
