Absolutely Charming and Delectable!
This tour of the picturesque and delicious region of Kakheti was a truly memorable experience. It was Independence Day, so many roads were blocked off and traffic was bad, but Tamara, the knowledgeable and gracious guide, deftly navigated all obstacles and made it work. She also worked hard to accommodate my preferences. From the postcard city of love, Signagi, to the educational and delectable experience at a family-owned winery, every bit of the day was special. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves wine and history.

We booked the Mtskheta –...
We booked the Mtskheta – Jvari – Uplistsikhe – Chronicle of Georgia PRIVATE tour with Tamara as our guide, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Georgia. From the first minute, everything felt easy and well organized. She arrived exactly on time, the car was clean and comfortable, and the whole day flowed naturally without ever feeling rushed or overly scripted. What made the experience special was not just the places themselves, but the way Tamara brought them to life. At Jvari Monastery, overlooking the rivers and mountains, she explained the history and religious significance in a way that was actually interesting and easy to follow. In Mtskheta, walking through the ancient streets and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral felt much more meaningful because of the context and stories she shared. Uplistsikhe was incredible. Seeing an ancient rock-cut city carved into the cliffs already feels surreal, but having someone knowledgeable explain how people actually lived there completely changed the experience. The Chronicle of Georgia was the perfect ending to the day. The monument itself is massive and impressive, but Tamara made sure we understood the symbolism, the history behind it, and gave us enough time to simply enjoy the atmosphere and views over Tbilisi. What stood out most was her personality. Warm, intelligent, patient, and genuinely passionate about Georgia. She never rushed us, answered every question, helped with photos, recommended local food, and somehow managed to make the entire day feel more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than being on a tour. You can tell she truly cares that people leave Georgia understanding and appreciating the country, not just taking pictures of it. If you are visiting Tbilisi and want a private tour that combines history, culture, scenery, and real human warmth, I would absolutely recommend Tamara without hesitation.

Gergeti monastery, Annanuri Fortress and Friendship monument etc.
It is a full day trip due to road conditions on way to Gergeti. Furthermore, the highway is single lane for almost half the distance with hundreds of trucks in both directions. There were so many pot holes on the way that we were not sure if we can complete the trip. Having said all that we got really lucky with fabulous weather and an excellent driver and guide (Nika). Nika was very knowledgeable and a safe driver. He guided us very well and we enjoyed all the sights. He also stopped at various lookouts so we could get good pictures while keeping us out of loud and boisterous crowds. Finally, my suggestion is to leave early from Tbilisi (8am) so that you can get ahead of the traffic and crowds.

Excellent day tour from Tblisi
Amazing day trip! The views of all the sites we visited were truly mesmerising. More importantly, George was a fantastic guide—very knowledgeable, kind and passionate. He was also very patient with all our questions! Though we were stuck in the traffic for couple of hours on the Georgian Military Road returning to Tblisi, but we were blessed with excellent sunny weather so most of us got off the vehicle to stretch and chat. The tour was overall extremely well organised with sufficient coffee and toilet breaks. George really ensured the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour and you're super lucky if you get George as your guide! If you are still hesitating, just book it, you'll have no regrets!

At the crossroads of Europe and Asia, multi-cultural Tbilisi is a fascinating place to visit with its charming cobblestone streets, historic churches and mosques, and extraordinary traditional food (don’t miss khinkali, meat-filled dumplings). Make the most of your time in the Georgia capital with these Tbilisi tours led by expert local guides who share their in-depth knowledge of the area. Private sightseeing excursions, food-centric walking tours, cooking classes, and cable car rides all take place within city limits. Or book a day trip into the countryside to sip wine in the Kakheti wine region, explore stalactite-filled caves, and even cross the border into Armenia.
