Great Athens Tour
Kostas did a brilliant job of taking care of all of us! We had a wonderful tour of the city in an extremely comfortable mini-bus, He was understanding of us wanting a little flexibility which was great. We were very happy to have done this and had him as our guide.

A great way to experience...
A great way to experience Armenia if you have short time to spare. The trip covers most of the tourist spots and we loved it. The weather is cold especially in the morning. There are plenty of food options in the food court and prices are reasonable. Our guide ( I don’t get his name) is very funny, always cracking jokes, and is very well informed as he shares information throughout our journey.

Easily the best day trip of my whole journey.
It was freezing cold outside, but somehow I felt so warm inside. The driver and guide George were both incredibly kind — always paying attention to everyone, quietly making sure we were all okay. You could really feel it.
At one point I kept thinking, the guide should really sit down for a bit… he stood the whole time, and it honestly looked exhausting. But still, he never stopped caring.
It made me realize something the temperature of a place isn’t really about the weather, it’s about the people.Georgia felt warm to me, in the most human way.
I asked the guide what the best part of his job is. He smiled and said, “people.”
That stayed with me.Hope everyone finds their own kind of life the one they truly want.

Outstanding service
A private tour is exceptional as it enables a real conversation about the locations and monuments with personal insight that is invaluable for an authentic experience. My driver and guide Aggelos was courteous, informative and extremely pleasant knowledgeable company for the duration. Efcharisto.

Amazing Tour of Athens Unlike Any Other
Kris was an exceptional guide. We had views and saw sights we would experience on a bus or by car (such as from the highest point in Athens at sunset). The tuk tuk was comfortable and Kris knew so much about the history of Athens and the current culture. Absolutely recommend this tour and guide.

This was a trip that was...
This was a trip that was worthwhile, despite the long journey to and from Armenia. The rugged terrain of the Armenian mountains is a stunning sight in itself, but adding all the historical monuments we visited greatly enhanced the experience for us. All three monasteries we explored were incredible and steeped in the country’s history. The views from Haghpat Monastery were particularly breath-taking, as it is situated at a higher elevation. Sanahin was, in our opinion, the best preserved of the three monasteries. Simply walking through the complex, surrounded by mountains and with a gentle breeze on your face, made the experience truly memorable for us.
The lunch was very tasty and it provided a good immersion into the Armenian cuisine.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided plenty of information both during the journey to Armenia and at the various locations where we stopped. This helped us become fully absorbed in the history of the places that we visited, and we can definitely say that we came away with far more knowledge about Armenia than we had before the trip. We would highly recommend it.

George was a fantastic tour guide!
George was fantastic! He was so very knowledgeable and friendly. Funny too! He showed us everything we wanted to see and things we didn't know we needed to see but were so happy we did! We truly enjoyed this adventure and would absolutely recommend it to anybody interested in not only history but biblical history. THANK YOU GEORGE!

Our guide, Nikos, was wonderful. He was nice, professional, easy going and very knowledgeable. He was funny and enjoyable to be around. He was a safe driver and accommodating. He answered all of our questions and allowed time to visit a church. We would definitely recommend this tour.

High recommended
The day was amazing! My tour guide was Sasho, and he even arrived before the scheduled time. He coordinated everything with me a day in advance, and he was very knowledgeable. Throughout the whole trip, he explained everything clearly and was incredibly friendly and pleasant.

Great day in Athens
Stavros was on time, friendly, and informative. He took us to all the sites, showed us where to go and gave the highlights of each location. He also told us a lot about what’s happening now in Greece which we enjoyed. We only have one day and it was perfect way to see what we wanted.

Comprehensive tour of Athens
Our final tour during our Athens visit was titled “ Best of Athens, (full day private tour) operated by My Athens Transfer and manned by the incomparable driver-guide, Costas. Our trend of drawing outstanding drivers-guides continued. Costas was very knowledgeable, fluent English, and very engaging -offering constant facts and information relative to the site visited at that point. In doing so, Costas demonstrated many characteristics of a school teacher offering comments ( particularly relating to origins of Greek culture and history) and then soliciting our responses. His commentary was so frequent and thorough i was afraid we could not absorb and retain it for the test we expected at tour-end. We apparently passed. Just a suggestion, Costas would make an excellent teacher and/ior super guide. The tour itself was well organized with comfortable transport beginning with a visit to the magnificent Acropolis and its antiquities which, of course was very crowded. Movement and taking unimpeded photos was a challenge but very much worth the hassle. Much like the Smithsonian, one could spend a couple days in the Acropolis Museum. The tour is comprehensive visiting over twenty sites so it would be difficult to pick a highlights; but two sites we enjoyed was the panoramic view from Mount Lycabettus and the opportunity to visit the site of the first modern Olympics - Panathenaic Stadium.
Our tour concluded with an early delicious dinner prepared by a hospitalable staff at a traditional Greek Tavern/cafe. If you have limited time, want some privacy, move at your pace, then we recommend this tour with the Greek goggle-king -Costas-at the helm.
