It’s very good tour. We made a few good friends. The symphony stone is best. The lunch is also pretty good. Make sure to pay early to avoid the long queue.

The positives:
-The excursion was well thought out. We had plenty if time in every location.
-The purchasing of tickets was very smooth as our guide collected the money on the ride and purchased the rickets while we remained on the bus.
-Our guide was knowledgeable and explained everything well. She had a pleasant demeanor and was friendly.
-Our driver was great.
- The lavash class was fun and delicious.
Negatives:
- The seats are very cramped.
-The AC Iwas not working most of the time and it was extremely hot. Also, apparently the cabin of the bus does not have AC (???) so what little time the AC for the back did work , it was canceled by the front passengers having their windows open. I am prone to motion sickness and had taken Dramamine, but the intense heat made me very ill.

That's what a lovely trip. Nice tour, we had time to enjoy every different view, the tourguide was lovely and the driver ok. Again the had a problem with the seats in the van. We are a fakily with 2 kids 5 and 2 years old, but the tourguide handle it perfectly without making any problem to us. So, we suggest to viator to check this, as that was the 2nd tour we had the same problem-didnt account the kids in the bus seats.

A nicely organized tour, with lots of interesting information from Hasmik, our tour guide who is very knowledgeable and fluent in English (and Russian).
Sadly, the Mount Ararat wasn't visible today, but the monastery, the temple, and the canyon were amazingly beautiful. I'll definitely be back here for more.
We got a small bottle of water each, and lunch options were available near Garni Temple. Make sure you wear comfy shoes as there's a bit of walking to do if you want to fully enjoy it.

On the plus side, minibus, driver and guide were good.
Negatives:
1. TIme at Geghard was too short.
2. Garni Temple was being set up for an event and was surrounded by equipment, temporary props etc. You could hardly appreciate it. 3. Restaurant was bad. I was sick when we returned, and what I ate at the restaurant was the only food I had that day.

We’re sorry that some parts of the tour did not meet your expectations. Regarding Geghard, the group spent around 50 minutes there that day, which is slightly longer than our usual planned stop of 45 minutes. However, we understand that for some guests this may still feel short, and we will take this into account when reviewing the timing of this tour.
As for Garni Temple, there was a wine festival being prepared at the site that day, which unfortunately affected the usual appearance and atmosphere of the monument. This was outside our direct control, but we regret that it impacted your experience.
We are especially sorry to hear that you felt unwell after the tour. We take such comments seriously and will review the restaurant situation with our team and partners. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us improve our service.

I appreciated seeing the sites and wanted to share some honest feedback. A lot of the historical explanations felt quite emotional and selective, and not always supported by established historical evidence. For example, our guide Meri Mkhtaryan said Geghard Monastery was destroyed by Arabs, but there is no historical evidence supporting that. Meri also said Garni Temple was destroyed by Arab invasions, when it is well established that it was destroyed by the 1679 earthquake. Overall, her commentary throughout the tour felt heavily focused on themes of victimhood and conflict, rather than giving a balanced presentation of Armenian history and cultural heritage. That was disappointing, because it meant less attention was given to celebrating Armenia’s cultural and historical achievements in a more complete way. I did enjoy seeing the sites themselves, but I think more careful accuracy and balance would significantly improve the experience for visitors.
