It was a long day — about 14 hours from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM — but absolutely worth it! The visit to Tatev Monastery was the highlight of the tour. The one-way cable car ride, the stunning mountain scenery, and the breathtaking views made it a truly memorable experience.
The view of Mount Ararat from Khor Virap was also spectacular. Lunch at the farmhouse had a lovely atmosphere, though the vegetarian options were quite limited (mostly just boiled vegetables).
We experienced a minor setback on our way back to Yerevan when the bus broke down around 9 PM, about two hours from the city. However, our guide Marina handled the situation exceptionally well — she arranged for us to stop at a charming wine-tasting venue while waiting for the replacement bus and efficiently coordinated alternative arrangements for those with late-night or early-morning flights.
Despite the long day, it was a wonderful and well-organized tour with incredible sights and experiences. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yerevan!

Unforgettable experienceto to the Tatev , was absolutely incredible. The journey throughout Armenian stunning landscapes was breathtaking, and the monastery itself is simply magical full of history, beauty and vinges of Tatev was unforgettable experience in highlight of the trip.

All the tour and the service was very good except for two things: the bus was too small for so many hours of journey, and the food at the restaurant was the worst I ate in Yerevan.

It is a full day experience. It is a spectacular sampler of Armenian monasteries, the food was great, and the air gondola was thrilling. Just be mindful that it's a lot packed into a day.

Excellent tour, beautiful sights with what is perhaps the best view of Mount Ararat on the first stop. A great way to see a large chunk of the country in one day. Very safe and professional driving from the amazing driver Jozef who navigated the winding mountain roads with great skill. The guide Hayk was also wonderful and made sure that my partner and I got to sit next to each other on the coach even though there were no seats together when we arrived, which we were incredibly grateful for. He also allowed us extra time at every stop, so we got plenty of space and time to explore and take photographs. The lunch stop is also very good and you get to try local wine, cognac and vodka. Water and pastry snacks are provided as part of the trip. All in all one of the best tours we’ve done. You may want to bring a raincoat and a light scarf for later on in the day, as it’s quite a long trip and it can get chilly in the mountains in the evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip visiting the monasteries and riding on the cable car at Tatev, a great experience, Tigran the guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information regarding the sites we visited and keeping us updated along the way. We had enough time at each stop and didn't feel rushed. Aro the driver was incredible negotiating the extremely bendy roads with tight corners in such a large vehicle and we felt very safe in his professional hands. This is a very long day as the description states but this is needed due to the distance travelled and the roads. We stopped for a lovely lunch and had a stop on the way back for food and a break.
Free water and a pastry was a nice touch, would highly recommend

It's a good excursion to see different sites. Spartak (our driver) and Edward (our guide) were great. However, what we didn't understand is that we would be with a group of 50 people in a big bus.
It would have been great to have an idea of the size of the group before booking. We would not have chosen this excursion if we knew that we were in such a big group.

This tour covers the remote south so it takes longer than you might think. We left at 8 am and came back at 11pm. Guides Edward and driver Spartak I think lol were great. Arrive early so you can chose a window seat.

This is an absolutely fantastic tour with amazing sites; probably the best day trip I did in Armenia. It did help that the weather was really nice so we could fully appreciate the monasteries in their amazing natural settings.

It is a long but very interesting tour! I didn't feel when time flew by. It wasn't tiring even though it lasted for 15 hours.
It is so well designed and all the stops are planned very carefully that it makes the day just perfect.

It was so great to have the trip only in English! I wish more trips are only in English for non-Russian speakers.
Marina was the best tour guide I’ve had in years. And the bus driver was excellent in driving and in his demeanor as well. Both she and him are keepers for your company.
Overall, this excursion was the best I’ve had in Armenia so far. And noravank and tatev were great. Noravank is my fave so far.

It was a great full day tour. Be ready! Take some snacks with you. We visited incredible places. Especially Tatev Monastery. It was impressive. Try to catch good spot in cable car - Left side in the front.
We were mixed group which wasn't ideal (English + Russian). The lunch was okay. The dinner stop was highly appreciated because everyone was starving.

Amazing action-packed tour seeing large parts of Armenia. The driver & our tour guide was amazing giving great details about the history of each of the stops we made. Also enjoyed a very nice homemade lunch.

Very informative trip with a perfectly organized guide Anait. The day packed with activities and sites. The highlights were the view of mount Ararat, and the scenic cable car ride over the mountains in Tatev.
On a more technical side, be prepared for quite a lengthy ride back to Yerevan as it takes around 6 hours to drive back on a narrow mountain road.

Tigran our guide was excellent. The program was very good, but i highly recomend to change the program in the cablecar. It would be easier and faster the was back also with cablecar, because the road is stucked, narrow and hard to do it if there is an accident
