I loved the "Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin)" tour! The places we visited were stunning, the sights were breathtaking, and the information shared was fascinating, thanks to our knowledgeable guide. As a vegan, I appreciated that there was at least one vegan option for lunch. It was a great experience overall, and I highly recommend this tour. 😊

I took this tour with a group of 13 people. Our tour guide, Marina, was a knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate guide who gave us insightful stories about the monuments and places we visited. Apart from the amazing natural beauties of Lake Sevan and Diligan, getting to know the historical and cultural aspects of Armenian cities and tourist spots made me feel more delighted. We had a nice international group and had a lot of fun interacting and listening to various music from different cultures on our way to the destinations.
The tour was organized well and they managed to use time as best as possible. The vehicle was clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable and the driver, Ashot, was nice and drove carefully. I recommend taking this Tour, especially with Marina.

I have been on countless tours and rarely review negatively but this one deserves no stars. You are crammed into a 40 seater bus in which numerous people were separated from their families. The tour guide was rude and not interested. His time management was appalling and we ended up arriving at 8:45pm, later than the schedule. He left us in the locations to either see it alone or spoke in Russian for 80% of the time while the English speakers waited for him to briefly explain the sites.
Learn from one way tours and split your tours like they do into smaller groups with various languages for each group. It’s cheap, but you end up wasting your day.

Kindly note that the buses are much more comfortable for long drive in comparison with smaller vehicles. Our bus had 35 seats and we had only 33 participants on the tour that day. You have arrived to the departure point for the boarding last minute after the other participants had already taken their places. The tour ended at 08:20 pm (we have GPS data), i.e. only 20 minutes later of the announced duration. The reason was that lunch took more time than it was planned as there were several kids among the participants and the considerable part of the group preferred stay longer for the lunch.
As for the tour guide, please note that he used to be one of the most professional and required tour guides in Armenia and you can read only positive reviews about him.

the tour guide was so helpful and informative and water was offered during the trip all the time.
a proper time allocated for each spot.
I was feeling bored in the bus because of no activities during the way, i suggest to play music or to make some activities during the way and have some fun.

Thank you for the review! Usually we turn on the music on the way back during the tours. In each vehicle we have a rich collection of Armenian and international songs. Probably that day the guide just has forgotten to turn it on or hasn't find it necessary for some reason. We will tell the guides to be more attentive in the future!

Good combination of attractions, Edward was a good guide, knowledgeable and easygoing, Sparta was a safe driver. Lunch with the Hyur tours cost too much and no good.

Lake Sevan and Sevanavank were very impressive and memorable. The other monasteries would have deserved a little more context and explanation, also the change of climate and vegetation beyond the tunnel. Dilijan could gave been omitted - at least in the form it was presented.

Great tour guide (Tikran) … the tour included three main churches and the lake visit. The guide was knowledgeable & spoke clearly as well as accommodating everyone and answering questions… water was available and the lunch choices to be purchased were nice. I enjoyed the fish.

The tour was organised by Hyur services & tour guide tried his best from explaining the history behind the monuments we covered, however the Resturant they selected for our lunch was pathetic (still an understatement), staff was very rude, screaming yelling at all the guest looked bizarre. From the food to the service all poor, chaotic, unorganised. She did not even apologised after misbehaving with guests. Never ever had such experiences before, disappointed, otherwise lake Sevan an amazing 🤩 experience, very beautiful.

Interesting tour and the tour guide is well prepared however the places visited are not so exceptional, even the lunch formula is not convincing, it is better to bring two sandwiches from home.

It's a nice way to get out of Yerevan and see other parts of Armenia. The guide (Rose) did a nice job a keeping up with translation in Russian and English. She explained things well. Going to Dilijan is very interesting as it seems to have a micro-climate mountain weather. As soon as you get out of the tunnel between Lake Sevan and Dilijan is like you are in another world. I recommend it and the price is reasonable.

I really enjoyed all the locations we visited for this tour. The guide was informative and the tour was well organized. One of the best aspects was how comfortable and clean the bus was. I despise driving around in any transportation in foreign countries outside the U.S. with the windows down, breathing in terribly polluted air from vehicles (or dealing with some driver smoking a cigarette out the window). Here we were in an airconditioned bus, and I only caught no more than a whiff or two of pollution coming in from the outside through the AC. The bus was very very clean and comfortable, it made for a smooth and pleasant trip during the 3-4 hours spent in transit.

In hindsight, I probably would have booked a slightly more expensive tour in a smaller bus but this tour was good value for money. Rose was my favorite guide in Armemia and overall, it was a nice tour. Unfortunately, like every day I‘ve been here, the weather did a 180 in the afternoon (note to visitors - bring warm layers even if the morning is hot!), though the fog added some atmosphere to the woods when we walked to the 3rd of the monasteries. The lake was pretty, the lunch was good and I liked that Rose found the right balance between providing accurate information and not spending too much time on the genocide. I get that it’s an important topic but I think people on holiday would rather hear about the amazing rich history than going on and on about the genocide (like another guide on another tour did). Overall, I liked the trip and thought the amount of time at each destination was well chosen…I would consider going with a smaller group, maybe.

Our guide Tamara is very knowledgeable and courteous. Garik our driver is a very safe driver. The sites visited are wonderful and all along the way Tamara explained to us the history of the sites and of Armenia in general.

The tour was fine in that we saw what we expected to see. However, the tour bus broke down twice. The tour guide, Rose, did a great job of keeping everyone calm and informed. But the second time we broke down was on a S-bend on a mountain pass, which was quite unsafe. That time the gearbox was the problem. But eventually the driver managed to fix it. We were told that another bus would come fetch us, but it never materialised. Hyur Service should make sure their vehicles are in good working order. We got back to Yerevan at 22.00 and the group was totally exhausted.

Thank you for the review! Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that the buses could have a technical problem, despite all our transportation means are being examined regularly. However as you have noted the problem has been solved on spot by the driver and you didn't have to wait while the other bus arrives. Besides, we have arranged a wine treat for all the participants as a compensation for the lost hour.
