I was looking forward to this trip so much, after seeing especially the photos of tatev monastery from a nearby viewpoint. The trip there was extremely long (we expected that) and we made a few stops along the way (winery and waterfall - nice, but nothing special - might be because we have amazing wine and waterfalls in our country already). But the big disappointment was that they dropped us off at the monastery, just 1km from the viewpoint and never took us up there (only inside the monastery). I saw photos of groups from up there so I kind of expected it. In the end we ended up paying a taxi driver (the walk would be too dangerous and we wouldn't have the time due to the tour schedule) 10€ to take us up there for 2 minutes and back to the monastery. So basically we didn't get the best part from the tour but from a taxi driver in 30-year old car, for which we were lucky it was waiting there.

Thank you for the review! We had certainly foreseen the visit of that view point in our tours to Tatev, however, unfortunately on your tour day it was skipped due to the weather conditions and being beyond of the schedule. We are very sorry that you had do arrange the taxi by yourself.

The group size was too big (50 people). The guide spilt the tour between Russian and English which made it hard to follow. Good information, but no personality, very dry. Driving was a bit crazy. Lunch was not until after 1430 and not good…food was cold when it was finally served.

A very interesting and informative tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Armenia and its history. The Tatev monastery complex and the ropeway was the highlight of the day. The only downside is that its a long 14hour day, but its worth the time, highly recommended.

Very professionally conducted tour. I would have liked to shorten the visit to the winery to have more time in Tatev. One should also consider the route to the individual attractions as part of the tour. Nature is simply magnificent.

他のツアーは待ち合わせ場所がざっくりでピックアップ時間も守られなかったりして、現地SIMを購入しない私には不安なものでしたが、このツアーはツアーデスクのある事務所前に集合でスタッフの方もバスも既に待っておりスムーズに参加できました。ドライバーのガリックさんは常に安全安定の運転でしたし、ツアコンのマリーさんは英語とロシア語両方堪能で分かりやすい英語で良かったです。ワイナリー前で購入されたというドライアプリコットがとっても美味しかったです！購入されたい場合はその場で申し出れば購入できるようでした。大体$5程度とのことなので、（おそらく現金払いかと思われます）現金も持って行くと良いと思います。

Le trajet était long mais il en vaut la peine ! La cascade, le monastère et le téléphérique sont incroyables. Chaque endroit vous fait découvrir des paysages à couper le souffle. Notre guide (Tigran) nous a donné des explications claires et intéressantes.
