Itinerary

Make your way to a centrally-located meeting point in Victoria, where you’ll meet a guide and group for 4pm departure. If you’d like to take home a growler of beer, feel free to bring one along—you can keep it on the bus until you’re ready to fill it up.

The lineup of breweries is subject to change, but the classic tour starts at Category 12 with a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewing process. After you've seen how the beer is made, line up four, four-ounce pours of Category 12’s beers from the brewery’s boldly-flavored draft list.

Following your time at Category 12, continue to Vancouver Island Brewing, which leans towards fun, super-drinkable beers. You’ll try four more beers before heading to the last stop of the evening, Swans Brewery, where First Nations art adorns a laid-back tasting room. This beer tour concludes at the original departure point, close to some of Victoria’s top restaurants and activities.

We turned into craft beer lovers! We spoke to Andrew prior to this tour and he addressed our concerns over lack of knowledge and experience of craft beers. We were picked up in a new, clean, and comfortable van. Cam, our tour guide, was knowledgeable of the Victoria area history and the beer making process. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Jessica from TWA Dogs Brewery was delightful, friendly, and passionate as she guided us during the tasting. We would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Victoria. It is a very good value for the price. We also plan to book again when returning with friends in the near future.

We took this tour in July of 2016. We did this excursion on our own, when our cruise docked in Victoria. We loved this tour! It had a great mix of breweries around Victoria. Everyone that we met was great and accommodating! Our favorite stop was the Vancouver Brewery for the beer and the winery had an amazing view! The food at the 3rd brewery was great! We loved it all.

This tour is a must for craft beer people. Andrew, our guide, was great! We visited 3 craft brewers and met the owners and/or operators. We had the time to discuss their beer brewing philosophies. The tastings were great and had a wide variety. Compared to other tours we have been on this was absolutely the best and the most enjoyable!
