So pleased we booked this tour. The guide, TendeKai, was fantastic. He shared lots of knowledge with us as we walked along the waterfall path. We did get absolutely drenched but that didn’t spoil the experience. The helicopter trip gave us spectacular views from above which we appreciated as the views from the ground were difficult because of the spray. Lunch at the Lookout cafe was great; although choosing the “Taste of Zim” stew was a mistake for me - beef stew with tiny fried fish on the side! The burgers and more familiar food looked great, though. A great way to see lots in one day!!

I was under the impression that it would be somewhat similar to Niagra Falls with views from the lodges, and boat trips available. Not even close. Once I started to become familiar with the differences, worked to book this tour late the night prior. The office did not receive the reservation until after they opened in the morning. Host was very accommodating. Services were excellent, guide was awesome, helicopter was very nice, along with a beautiful hide-away lunch location. High recommend

I didn’t see much value add from this tour operator. Two of the activities were awesome: walk the falls and fly over the falls. The restaurant looks great in photos, and the food was good, but they set us outside the restaurant proper (off the end) in the sun on a hot day. We could not see the “Lookout” at all from our table. The tour guide didn’t get us a decent table at all. Earlier, the same guide escorted us on the walk, but didn’t provide much if any information after we entered. It was nice to have an escort, but that’s expensive! Then they switched us to another driver to go to the helicopter. And back again later. So, falls=beautiful, but guide weak; helicopter=fun, but driver swap, and dinner was pretty miserably hot without a view. So…what value did the tour operator add?? Transportation and safety and I did like that. I suggest you shop around for better value.

The best way to see the Falls.

This is an amazing day out to get to know Victoria Falls. Our guide and driver, Jacob, couldn't do enough to make sure everything went well, and made sure that the transfer to the helicopter company was professionally done, and if course, he was there on our return. The helicopter flight was fantastic, with views of the Falls that are unforgettable. When that was all done, we went to the Lookout Cafe for a delicious lunch, then taken back to our hotel by Jacob.

Bring plenty of USD as there are lots of additional costs. Park entrances, government top ups, rain coat hire, tipping, etc. Firstly, it’s not a private tour. We did our transfer and Vic Falls walk with another (lovely) family. Our helicopter ride was also not private, you can pay an extra $200 USD once you’re there if you’d like it to be. You are then encouraged to watch and buy the helicopter video. The absolute best part of the day, which was private, was the delicious lunch and the spectacular views from the Lookout Cafe. Honestly, the views from the cafe are better than what you see in the park. There is a great professional art gallery/shop (with no pressure at all to buy) at the restaurant as well. The trip is worth doing, but it just takes the fun out of it when everyone is trying to upsell or take their pound of flesh. It’s exhausting. We declined the market shopping trip based on a previous review. Glad we did as it would have ruined the day. To be fair, all activities that we have done in Zimbabwe have felt like we have to constantly be on our toes and handing out tips in USD. This tour was no different.

Our guide tony was fantastic, giving an amazing guide of Victoria falls with lots of interesting facts and great pictures. We werent able to get our flight on the first day due to clouds but the company were great in rearranging our flight for the next day and communication was superb in organising this. Helicopter tour itself was an amazing experience

Amazing experience overall. The extra costs, albeit we knew about, got quite overwhelming and were needed in cash. We had 3 drivers throughout the day, yes they were lovely but all expected a tip which was another $20 per person. Lunch and the walk were amazing! Helicopter trip was good but yet again they tried to charge you more for a longer flight and a video. After getting picked up you are dropped off in a market with your guide but everyone tries to sell you something which can be quite intimidating, they got funny when we didn’t buy anything.

False advertising and hidden charges

The views from the top of Victoria falls were quite spectacular , the aircraft does not fly very close so you see the views from quite a distance . The pilot was not very engaging infact at the beginning of our flight he asked if we wanted him to speak German because the group I was with was German speaking which I didn’t appreciate as the only African person on that aircraft. My dissatisfaction with this tour was mainly with the company and the costs . I was coming from Radisson blu on the Zambia side and the terms on Viator stated that transfers were included and it even allowed me to select my hotel as a pickup point only to be scolded by the staff telling me I needed to pay $60 for a transfer which I refused and he then insisted I write a weird email acknowledging that I was given a free transfer. Also important to note that they then charge you an additional $50 which was s apparently a fee for entering the park and another additional $25 for another park fee when you get to the helicopter place . I spent 4 days in Zambia prior to crossing over to Zambia and the experience was much better , staff was friendly , helpful and their prices were very transparent and for the most part included in the listed price . It’s downright unethical to have a hidden charge of $75 and it’s as good as false advertising. I will not recommend this company to my network .

If you plan to visit the Victoria Falls only once in your lifetime, you should book this excursion. It’s a private group tour with detail explanation of the Falls history and about. The helicopter ride and the lunch at Lookout Cafe was amazing.

The tour of the falls was a 4 kilometer walk which was not explained in the description. Also the description stated the admission to the park was free and we were required to pay $50 per person. The helicopter flight was good but we waited over an hour to get on. When we got off we had to wait to see a video they took and wanted to sell us before we could get back on our bus. Very disappointed in this tour.

The walking tour was excellent and the guide very knowledgeable. The sights were spectacular and was nice having a shower in the heat while walking next to the falls. The views from the helicopter was amazing and it all ended with a spectacular lunch next to the Zambezi.

A great day - Victoria Falls were amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with all the photos we wanted to take. The helicopter tour was amazing - first time for me in a helicopter - and they made me feel very safe and relaxed and out pilot took time to ensure that everyone had the same view. Then we had lunch at the Lookout which felt very special and would be a top price restaurant in the UK - great food and service and wonderful views. All in all a great trip and good value for money

1. The helicopter does not take you close to the gorge. Instead the closet you get to the falls is 5000 ft from the sky. 2. The included lunch is a deceptive claim. You get to select only one entre (either a salad, a main dish or a desert). 3. Drinks (even water or soft drink) is not included. 4. The choice of restaurant (Overlook Cafe) was excellent. Excellent view and tasty food)

Very nice adventure. The guide provided a 2 hour walking tour of the falls and then we went on the 15-20 min helicopter ride. It was nice in that all seats had a window so you could see the falls and the pilot turned the helicopter around so both sides could get all the views. The lunch was also great at the Lookout over the bridge. One thing to bear in mind — these cost does NOT include Vic Falls admission which is $50 per person and a flight fee of $25 per person. The details explain that but you could easily miss it.

Excellent views of The Falls ..lifetime ambition to see them .Even though it was dry season they were fully impressive . I was however disappointed by our guide who appeared bored by guiding only 3 of us to each vantage point .I agree he must do it often but he was almost disconnected and uninterested .In my whole trip he was the only guide who appeared unfriendly and showed no interest in his group at all

Our Victoria Falls Scenic Day Tour, Lunch & Helicopter Flight was most memorable and most enjoyable. We had so much fun. The main reason was we had a wonderful tour guide More Blessings who was very professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. He made sure we enjoyed our trip. Everything was well organized. From the pickup and delivery to the falls, our tour guide, the delivery to the heliport, the restaurant and back to our lodging. We were never hurried along and allowed to ask any questions of anyone we came in contact with. More Blessings was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about all things Zimbabwen. He turned a special day into a very memorable experience.
